Hi there, Can you please help with Example 2? Where can I set the number to be reduced if product variation with an attribute is purchased? (I need it for an earrin that requires 2 of the attribute). Thanks! :)

I’ve found it in the Group settings, but unfortunately I need to be able to set the number of stock reduction per product for a lot of variations. So is it possible somehow to have a quantity multiplier on the product page?

Hi. Please reach out to us via the support tab. We may have a solution for you.

OK, thanks! :)

Hi there! Amazing plugin, love it! One question: Im in need of a back in stock notifier plugin, do you know if there are any plugins that work with this plugin?

Hi. Thanks a lot. Most popular back in stock notifier plugins are compatible with attribute stock.

But it’s important to note that none of these plugins work with product variations using “Any” attributes, in case you’re using those with attribute stock. This is because they need to save a specific variation ID in order to track stock status for it.

Please feel free to reach out to us via the Support tab should you need any further assistance.

Hello, is there a shortcode to be able to display the quantity of variables available in stock? I have used the settings to “Always show quantity remaining…” but it doesn’t work when using Elementor. Please advise, thank you!

Hi, presale question about inventory

can I set the inventory like this?

BURGER = RAW MATERIALS

See attachment sample to this link

Thanks

Thank you! I’ll check on it.. Can you also provide a Burger demo? Thanks

But, what if for example I use 1 type of cup for Milk Tea and Softdrink? Will it synchronize the inventory?

If you create attributes for your cups and add them to your products you can track stock for them. There’s really no limit to what kind of stock you’re able to track, it’s completely up to you.

Here’s a simple demo of a burger with separate stock for each ingredient:

- Ingredient stock
- Burger product

Hello, is it possible to use to add stock to the values of Custom Product Addons (Acowebs) or some similar plugin? I understand that it works with attributes.

Addon Link: https://acowebs.com/woo-custom-product-addons/

For example for the sale of Lottery Tickets of 3 number. If the number 1 2 3 has already been sold 50 times (stock), it cannot be sold again, and so on with any number.

It is a stock based on the values entered by the customer in the product options before buying them.

Unfortunately not. Attribute stock only works with global attributes.

Hi, is this plugin compatible with HPOS ?

Cheers

Hi. It should be as we don’t access any order data directly from the database and only use WooCommerce methods. But as I’m sure you know HPOS is still in development and bugs are expected.

I have the license for this plugin. ON the summary page explaining the features, it says you can run a stock report? How is that done? I don’t see it in any of the settings.

Hi. You can find reports similar to WooCommerce product stock reports under WooCommerce > Reports > Attribute Stock.

Another option is to export your stock to CSV. This can be done from Products > Attribute Stock > Export.

Please note that these are reports of your current stock. We don’t save historical stock data at this time.

Thank you for the prompt response.

I am using woocommerce booking, can I use the plugin to include inventory of two products? I have daily and hourly rentals and I only have x products, I want to manage that if they buy by hours and by days I have it encuenta in the inventory (by hours is a product and by days is another product).

Sorry I’m not sure if it will work. Attribute stock works with flat stock values, whereas booking products have stock based on dates. At the very least it would probably require some custom development to make it work properly.

I had bought it thinking it would work.

Since you bought it already you can always test it out first. If you don’t have any luck feel free to submit a refund request through CodeCanyon and I’ll approve it.

hello i have a pre-sale question.

i have 3 categories on my website:

- presents for him - presents for father - presents for grandpa

now i am selling same T-shirt in all 3 categories and i have 10 in stock. so if somebody buy 1 t-shirt for his father then i have 9 left in stock. So also 9 left for him, or 9 left for grandpa. can your plugin synq this?

You can set up your shared stock in the lite version and place a test order to see that stock is decreasing as expected.

You can also add stock, products and place orders on our demo site to test if it works for you.

but i dont understand how to add the shared stock?

You just create a normal global attribute term in WooCommerce, add stock to it, then add the attribute term to your products. Disable stock management on the products themselves and they will use the stock from the attribute.

Hi, i have a question about your premium version, does it updates the stock directly of the variation (on the normal stock case of each product) or is it just a frontend modification ? I ask you this because we sync the stock value of all our product variations, so we need to have the good value in this box Thanks !

It’s only a frontend modification. Stock values on product listings are unaffected by attribute stock.

Context:

I’m making a WooCommerce/Dokan marketplace for people to sell second hand products. As this are second hand products each product should have an inventory of just 1. All products are simple products, no variations.

Problem

I want to set by default a stock of 1 to all products. I don’t want the users dealing with setting the stock quantity by themselves

can i make this work with your plugin?

Unfortunately attribute stock can’t help with this. I’d recommend reaching out to Dokan support to see if they can provide you with a custom code snippet to do this. Or even post on the WooCommerce forums, I’m sure someone will be able to help you out.

hey – I think i want to buy your plugin but can you tell me if it would be a good fit for restaurants?

for example:

I have these three ingredients

100 lbs – Hamburger meat 100 oz – Ketchup 100 slices – Buns / Bread

customer buys 1 Hamburger

Restaurant uses some ingredients = 0.5 lbs meat, 5 oz ketchup, 2 slices of bread

now I have

99.5 lbs – Hamburger meat 95 oz – Ketchup 98 slices – buns /bread

if Buy plugin can you provide instructions on how to set up this example?

Sure you can definitely do this with attribute stock. Feel free to contact me via the Support tab if you need any help getting set up.

awesome – your plugin is great.

i found out how to track the ingredients of each main item – but i am having trouble trying to track the ingredients of each side item because they are variables

...is this possible?

i sent a mssg using the support tab also – thanks!

Yes it is possible, albeit a bit more complicated. I’ve replied to your support email.

Hi, we are using pro version and having some issues, we sell clothes and for some products we have 3 parameters, type of garment (t-shirt. hoodie) Color and Size, But some days ago it just stop working properly, for example, in the link is some product we have every size available, but it only shows size M and XL, we have updated plugin, woocommerce and wordpress

The page I need help with: https://www.thebrand.cl/producto/navy-roja/

Hi there. I suggest going to Products > Attribute Stock and filter the list by that product. This will show you which stock items are matching that product, and it might help narrow down any stock items that are matching with 0 stock that shouldn’t be matching.

If you need further assistance, please reach out to us via the Support tab.

Hi,

Is it possible to display the notes as product short description so that the customers may see the basic details?

I hope it can.

Thank you.

Hi there. Unfortunately this isn’t possible without custom code.

Attribute stock only affects the availability of products. Any other aspect of a product should be handled on the product listing itself. Attribute stock notes should be used for internal notes related to stock items for admin usage and reference.

Keep in mind stock items are independent from products. One product can use multiple different stock items at the same time, and vice versa. In this case, which stock item should a product use for its short description?

If you’re determined to do this, feel free to email me from the Support tab if you’d like assistance with the custom code required for your site.

Thank you I will send email in Support Tab

Hi, I have another pre-purchase question…I’m using Variation swatches and with the lite version of Attribute stock plugin it doesn’t hide non-existent attribute combinations, there’s only a message displayed to pick a different combination…I was thinking it can be because the stock is hidden to the customer with the lite version…will those attributes be hidden with the pro plugin same as they are normally with variation swatches plugin? Thank you!

The lite version of attribute stock doesn’t affect the frontend of your site in any way or form. So what you’re seeing with your variation swatches depends on how your swatch plugin works. If it’s not hiding or greying out unavailable attributes, attribute stock won’t change this.

The full version of attribute stock will disable out of stock and optionally unmatched variations according to your Inventory settings. It is fully compatible with the majority of variation swatch plugins.

how can i manage this plugin for variable products for rent and sale?

Hi @veronicadl. Attribute stock is merely a stock system. How you use it is entirely up to you and what you’re looking to achieve.

I’m not sure what kind of stock you’d need to track with real estate that would require our plugin, but it depends what problem you’re trying to solve that the WooCommerce built-in stock is unable to do.

I have to manage the stock of clothing rental products with different color and size variables on the same product

We have an example of t-shirt stock on our demo site.

But it’s still not clear why you would need Attribute Stock. Is there something you can’t do with standard variable products in WooCommerce?

Pre-purchase question since I want to be sure that this plugin will cover my needs. I have 2 variable products: 1. BIKINI TOP with size variations (each variation with stock) 2. BIKINI BOTTOM with size variations (each variation with stock).

Now I have a third product: BIKINI SET, a variable product that combines the different variations from the TOP AND BOTTOM products.

Can I manage stock for the BIKINI SET depending on stock on TOP and BOTTOM products?

Thanks in advance,

Hernan B

Hi Hernan. You can do this, yes. But attribute stock works a bit differently. First you’d add each of your stock items in our plugin, i.e. one stock item for each bikini top and bottom in every size.

After that you’d set up your products, but without enabling stock for the products or variations. Instead they will inherit their stock from the stock items you added, based on the attribute terms assigned to your stock items and used on your products.

In other words, your BIKINI TOP and BIKINI BOTTOM products won’t have stock added to them directly. Your stock will essentially be separate from your product listings. All 3 products in this case will make use of the global attribute stock items that you add in our plugin.

I hope this makes sense. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let me know.

Hi, thanks for your answer. I think this plugin can help me but when checking live demo I´m not sure how it works. Right now I have 180 products, so I need to create manually attribute stock for each one in order to control stock using your plugin?

Still don´t get how that will connect and work with a product that combines 2 variable products.

Do you have video tutorials, or maybe a support session at least to get started?

Thanks!

I’ve gone ahead and set up a basic example of a shared bikini stock on our demo site. Please take a look and let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello. I’m testing the free plugin to see if the premium one will work for my use case, but I’m having some problems configuring and understanding the settings. In the description there is a basic simple use case for t-shirts, but only one color and model. I’m designing a more complex T-shirt printing shop, products will be the designs and the customer can choose the model of the t shirt, color and size, with which each size of each color has different stock…let’s say women’s organic – color black – size m – stock 10, women’s organic – white – size m – stock 15, women’s bamboo – color black – size s – stock 5, etc. Is it possible to set it with this plugin and how do I set the attributes? Thank you and I really hope your plugin will solve this problem for me, I’ve been searching for a solution for days now.

Hi there. It sounds like attribute stock will be a good fit for your use case.

In order to set up your stock in the way you’ve described, you’ll need to navigate to Products > Attribute Stock and add your items from there.

On each item you can add attributes under Match Rules. For example, you would add the Model, Color and Size to each stock item, inside the same match rule group.

You can see an example of similar stock items on our demo site for reference.

Oh I see, I guess I missed that demo. I’m going to test it for a little bit, it it fits I’m definitely buying your plugin, it would really solve all my problems. Thank you so much for the speedy reply.

Hey team, this plugin is showing a critical error on my site when it’s activated with this RMA plugin: https://wpswings.com/product/rma-return-refund-exchange-for-woocommerce-pro/

Hi there. Thanks for reporting this. Please could you send us a message via the Support tab above, so that we can troubleshoot the issue over email.

I”m testing the free version, just to see if this works for us.

BUT I’m running into an issue and I want to know if that is only something for the paid plugin…

1. when an attribute is out of stock, on the front end, will it say OUT OF STOCK? or always say in stock?

Yes, frontend stock management is only available in the full version. Products will display stock according to your WooCommerce settings, using their associated attribute stock.

Please take a look at our demo for an example of this.

Got it. So on our end (when having the free version), when we set the product not to manage stock, we see nothing (as it’s basically in stock). BUT… if we have the pro version, the product is set not to manage stock, but we’ll still see a status like “in stock” “on backorder” etc?

Correct. But you’ll see stock on the frontend exactly the same as if you had manage stock enabled on the product. How this is actually displayed depends on your settings under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory.
