I want to use a website along with your app so I can offer additional services in addition to the SEO tool. So would you suggest I place the website files in a sub folder or phoRank in the subfolder? I’ve been struggling with getting everything to work when I put the SEO tool on the subfolder.

As described in the Documentation, phpRank must be run from the root path of a domain or subdomain, it won’t work in sub-folders. We generally recommend running it from a sub-domain, such as app.example.com.
If that’s an option for you, then you can put your website’s files in a subfolder, just make sure that subfolder is located in the “public” folder of phpRank.

If you require people to buy an extended license for those who want to find clients using your software, don’t call this SAAS, but call it personal license. Because it will be very confusing here

SaaS means Software as a Service. It doesn’t necessarily has to be a paid model. Furthermore, this software can be run with a paid model, with the proper license (which is clearly described both in the presentation materials, as well as the License Terms), which you, as the customer, have the obligation to read, before making your purchase. This is the case with all Envato Items, not just ours.
The “end product” term is clearly described in the License Terms. The “end product” represents a website (host, domain name, and our software for example). Yes, you can sell your entire website to a 3rd party, Regular license allows for that. You CANNOT charge your users money to use your website, using a Regular license. It doesn’t get more simpler than that.

Hi Lunatio. I just did a test payment $1 with Stripe, transaction went fine. But in the Stripe payment email receipt at bottom it says “If you’re having trouble clicking the “Invoice” button, copy and paste the URL below into your web browser: https://mywebsite.com/account/invoices/1" and this just leads to a 404 not found error. Any ideas what’s the problem here? Thanks

You’ll have to reach out to Stripe support regarding support of their product, that’s something that Stripe generates.
We recommend disabling the “Customer emails” under: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/automatic
Our invoices are generated on the phpRank platform itself, and contains all the required information (such as Tax rates, applied Coupons, etc.).

Pretty cool you have the API info for developers built in… but this could create unwanted support requests… so have you thought about adding a setting in the script admin settings so it’s easy to disable any display/links regarding API or developer info. You might see how this could open a can of support request worms which the average admin is not technically capable of handling.

The API already comes with its own Documentation. You shouldn’t be obliged to offer API support for that, as those who will attempt to use it are developers already.
With that said, I could add this as a feature on the ToDo list, however the chances are very slim, given that this is the first time someone asks for an option to completely disable the API.

Ok thanks. Not a big deal. Just thought it might be easier to hide links to API docs or pages without doing any other mods to the script regarding API.
Little confused about how to edit the default (footer links) pages for terms of service and privacy. I can see how to create new pages and add them to the footers but do not see anything in the admin settings (legal?) to enter content for either terms of service or privacy. So I ended up creating 2 new pages one for TOS and another for Privacy and then entered those URLs into the admin > settings > legal … is this the way you intended to do it or am I missing something? Thanks

I figured it out but might be nice if you had an easy way of editing/adding TOS or Privacy other than creating new pages for them and over-riding default footer links.

The reason it is the way it currently is, is because some times the users are sharing their Cookies, Privacy & Terms pages off-site, meaning on 3rd party websites, or a subdomain. In such cases, the user needs to be able to link to an external URL, hence the separate links section. This is something that one does one-time only and shouldn’t really be an inconvenient in the long-run.

In that case, you can create your own page and upload it in the /public directory of our software. From there, simply copy/paste your custom page URL in our dashboard and you’re good to go.
Always make sure that your page name will not interfere with our current routes. The /pages/ path ensures that.

Both billing periods are mandatory. You could change the software and remove one of the billing periods if that’s a requirement for your project, but by default the software is provided as-is.

Nice script thanks. We want to run it on shared hosting as a cPanel addon domain. public_html directory is the default pointing to because I have multiple addon domains running sites already. Is there some way like the Wordpress method where we can have index.php and .htaccess in the root of the addondomain.com (cpanel filemanager > addon domain’s directory) so we can keep the script’s file/folder structure intact? What if we change the name of the script’s /public/ directory to someting like /tools/ and use .htaccess or index.php in the root to force a redirect to the /tools/ directory where the script can just run from there like myaddondomain.com/tools/ ... sorry it’s just so much easier if we can run this from an addon domain so we don’t have to change our webhosting primary domain, etc which is alot of extra work due to multiple addon domain/sites already intact.

Ah, thank you. Wow, can’t believe I’ve done addon domains 100’s of times over the years and never changed the default root value didn’t even realize can add the /public to end of the default addon name there in the doc root setting. Thanks for the quick help and nice video example. Strangely I got it to work perfectly before by using the .htaccess similar to way wordpress i mentioned. It installed perfectly and never did I see /public/ in the url path or have any conflicts. But I’ll probably go back and do it the right way with addon domain and specify doc root just to be on safe side. Thanks

You have three options.
1. Via Admin > Settings > Appearance > Custom CSS field, by rewriting the current CSS rules. 2. By modifying the CSS files located in /public/css/ folder. 3. (Recommended) By recompiling the SASS files located in /resources/sass/ folder (this requires knowledge in working with SASS files). We’ve included the entire SASS project so that you can customize it as you please.

Just a quick update on this matter. We’re getting closer to release a major update (one of the biggest updates we’ve ever released), and Limited Guest Reports will be part of it. Here’s a sneak peak at it: https://streamable.com/95uelv – it will allow guest users to generate SEO reports, however when a test from a SEO report fails, the result is hidden, and a message is displayed, encouraging the user to register to generate a “full” report.

phpRank v21 has just been released, and we’ve added a new option which you can enable as an Admin, so that users can now generate complete SEO reports without an account.
Basically the software can now be ran with SEO & Tools publicly available.
Furthermore, in v21 we’ve introduced ad-spots, so that the platform can be monetized by displaying Ads on the Reports and Tools pages.

That’s because you’ve restored your database for some reason. Please stop altering your website now, it’s working as it should.
As for the Thum.io API, no update has altered the Thum.io settings. If you had an API key in there, then that API key is still there.

I found a problem when configuring the smtp, after clicking the register button the site gives an error 500. But from the contact page email comes to the box, it means that the smtp is configured correctly. But registration does not work.

We already looked into implementing Paddle, however Paddle does not have an APIs to create Plans and Subscriptions, which made it impossible for us to integrate their service in a graceful way. If they ever improve their API, we’ll be looking into them again.

Ok, thanks, I updated everything, moved everything, now everything works fine, waiting for a trace update, I also have applications, add to the title and description character count as required by seo.
The title should be up to 60 characters, if shorter than 40 it’s bad if longer than 60 it’s bad too. And also the length of the description of the site, from 150 to 160 if longer is bad if shorter than 130 is also bad. Implement it )))
