Thank you for contacting us. The description of the product on requisition form is not the description of the product itself. Since the requestor can add a product that doesn’t exists from the products added by the admin/purchasing, the Requestor can put their note on that field explaining more about the products description they want to request. They can also put on that field that describe how the requestor using the product, purpose, note, etc.

It needs to customize if you want to populate the product description on that field.

The product description is just a reference only for the purchasing/admin.. The purpose of the description during the member request is their notes for the product they requested.

2. Yes, but for now, I am too busy for other projects and I can’t accept a customization on this item. You can hire a codeigniter expert if you want to customize this item.

3. If you mean to customize the column to show, yes, that can be overridden.

4. None for now.

5. There is no budget monitoring.

Hi Daniel,

Currently, you have to go to the file where you want another format of the date.

For example, in the request list when using an admin user. You can edit that file in: /application/third_party/xwb/controllers/request/Xwb_request.php line 806 where you can see the code

date("F j, Y, g:i a", strtotime($v->date_created))

. You can now edit the format of the date by changing the “F j, Y, g:i a” to another format.

And the proper way to edit or override the code is to copy that function which is

getAdminRequest()

and paste that into application/modules/request/controllers/Request.php folder then do the edits to override the original code.
