When playing a video or music on an android phone using a web browser you will see a notification in the status bar area and on the lock screen that shows what you are playing and also has pause and skip buttons.

Hello, I did some testing, and I can’t seem to find a way to use chrome notification. Even if there is a some way it will work only for Android, because iOS is with safari. In the tests I notice that the music from the website that is streaming did run on the background while the phone was lock, but there was no controls. I am releasing new update now, where you will have online radio streaming. If you want something in the apps as feature you can suggest and I will include it in the next update

Hi, thanks for checking. What is the update you are releasing adding to the app? You can play media through a webview fine in the background already, it is only the notification missing.

The update contains a lot of new features, it’s version 2.0. Contains new radio stream screen where you can put radio link and it will play it with controls, metadata reader and background controls, even from the watch you can control it. Also new screen for YouTube, where you can add multiple videos with custom controls and live streaming support. Also OneSignal implementation, offline export in case you don’t want to use firebase, new security toggle that will prevent screenshots and screen recordings in case you don’t want that, other features and a couple of bug fixes and improvements. I am finalising it and will upload it tomorrow. I will continue to see if there will be a option for this media notifications.

Ah ok I see. Nice features but they won’t work for me as I run a radio website so wouldn’t want to add all those links to the app manually.

I left a question in flutter community, maybe there I will get some answer. This solution is not working because, I don’t know when the music is playing and when not since you use ajax request the main url is not changed therefore I don’t have information whether is playing or not. Let’s see what the guys will tell me. There is one solution that will work for you but it’s not good, to open inline chrome browser, but this way there will be no bottom menu or top navigation it should be separate screen.

When you say inline chrome browser this would be the external browser you get when using the gmail app or other apps for example, with the “x” button in the top bar and it shows the web address? The same as a custom tabs view?

I do not require any menus in the app, as my website has its own mobile menu, you will see this mobile menu if you make the window smaller or view on a mobile device.

Hello, yes interstitials works when chaninging menu. I will see if it will be possible for the next update. Because I already added a lot of new features.and the update is expected this week. But I will add inapp purchases if not on this on the next update.

Do you mean you dont want firebase at all? If so its possible but, you will not be able to use the admin panel. The point of the admin over firebase is that you can always update the apps even if they are uploaded in the store. Which is plus because you will not need to make new updates on the stores. But if you dont want to use firebase at all, I can help you get that done.

You need to click back button and on the prompt to click yes. The app will exit and when click to run it again it will load from the beginning. Thats the most that can be done, Android and iOS does not allow to kill app from task manager it’s a system requirement and anyone that bypass this will get rejected in stores

Hello, the app uses pure firebase notificatios, that can be sent from admin panel. You can disable top banner and all banners directly from admin panel and go full screen. Try in the demo to disable top banner and disable safe area to go full screen. There are a lot of options from admin which can help you to adjust the app however you want. I need to check if there is a way to convert javascript alerts to show as toasts. Maybe you can help me if you send me on email your website and how to check these alerts. One signal can be additionally added as a option to use either one signal or firebase I will include this on the next update.

I know with one signal, it is called get onesignal player ID which you can append to a website to retrieve individual user ID’s, i am not sure if firebase supports that and by notifications, i mean for example, i like a user’s photo or commented on this photo, it shows on my website as a notification, so on the app, is it possible for it to show as app/toast notifications that pops up and then stays in notifications dock on phone

no tree shake icons eliminates all unused icons in order to reduce size of the apk and bundle.
