Hello. Could you update the plugin to support HPOS? Without it, it’s obsolete at this point. Thank you!
Hi,
We have implemented HPOS compatibility in the plugin. Please download latest plugin from codecanyon.
Thanks
This is awesome. Thank you!!!
Our pleasure.
Hello, any plans to support HPOS anytime soon? We are currently using your plugin, but we are migrating to HPOS, and would like to continue using the plugin. If you are not planning to upgrade, we will be left with no option but to use an alternative plugin.
Hi, We added support for HPOS. Please download latest plugin from your account. Thanks
Hello, Do you plan on making this plugin compatible with Woo Commerce’s ‘High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS)?

I am testing April’s Free File of the Month – this plugin – On Admin page /wp-admin/admin.php?page=woodonatip there is only one currency in Donation Amount column. Even if donation was made in secondary currency. Resulting that total donation amount is not calculated correctly. I use CURCY – Multi Currency for WooCommerce In WooCommerce orders, all orders have valid currency and all prices and donations are correct in both currencies there. I made one order with donation 10 EURO and second with donation 200 CZK But total on Donation admin page is 210 EURO.
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out.
The Donation/Tip summary page is compatible with WooCommerce and WordPress but not with multi-currency plugin. If you want help with that, please reach out to https://www.wildprogrammers.com/support/ and our technical team will be more than happy to assist you there.
Thanks & Reagrds
thank you, i very much appreciate the plugin. unfortunately, the thank you message shows up on the order confirmation page even when no tip/donation is left: “thank you for your kind donation of $0.00”. my site is not quite live yet, so i can’t provide a link, sorry.
Hi,
Thanks for bringing this to us. I will forward the feedback to our technical team and I can assure you that they will resolve this ASAP.
Thanks again.
Hi,
Thanks again for holding on this.
We have resolved this issue in latest version of the plugin.
Please let us know if you have further questions.
Thanks & Regards
Hi, your demo is not available at the moment.
1- Is there a way for the customer to enter a text is there a textarea that the customer can fill ?
2- Is there a way to just send a donation or it will required to buy a product?
Hi,
The demo is up now, if you want to have a look.
Regarding your questions
1) Customer can add custom message in the input field. 2) Customer need to buy something since the whole idea is to either donate or add a tip.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Thanks & Regards
ok thanks for the info. I think the plugin can be adaptable let say the store sell offline products (let say discontinued inventory stock) so user could pay these from the store and no need to create a product for this because one time buy an entering note about the bundle number as a reference. This may give you an idea for another plugin or to extend the actual plugin.
Hi,
As long as WooCommerce allow you to add some product to cart snd checkout, the plugin will allow you to add donation/tip on cart or checkout.
The plugin is meant to work with WooCommerce and in no way alter WooCommerce’s behavior. Hope this makes sense.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks & Regards
Who pays the Transaction Fees?
Hi jason,
The plugin is meant to provide a simple way that allows your users to add donation or tip while placing WooCommerce order. However, it doesn’t and shouldn’t make any decisions like paying transaction fees.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks
So we dont get deducted the fee from stripe, are we adding the extra card fee to the customer yes?
Hi,
This should work in the same way as of the order total. Ideally there is no difference between order with total X and donation Y or order with total X+Y.
These are all default WooCommerce settings and the plugin don’t have any influence there.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks
Much appreciated Cheers!
Cheers!!!
Is it possible for the donation to be recurring with this plugin or do I need to use another one? Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out.
As of now, the plugin only supports one time donations. However, if you are using any WooCommerce Subscription plugin and want us to sync the plugin with your plugin for recurrence donation, we will be more than happy to help.
You can reach out to https://www.wildprogrammers.com/support/ where our technical team can discuss with you in details.
Thanks & Regards
The plugin adapts very well to the theme but I need help because if the form is in the checkout page, it will make a postback deleting data in the checkout form. Please I need support to make it work with Ajax.
Hi, Thanks for purchasing the plugin. Once you raise the ticket, our technical team will be more than happy to help. Thanks
does it work well with multicurrency?
Hi, Thanks for purchasing the plugin. Yes, it works well with multicurrency as long as the currency is changed using woocommerce filter. Feel free to reach out for any further issues.
I’m wondering if this plugin supports multilingual websites or the WPML plugin? Is it possible to have the form work on all language versions?
Hi,
Yes – the plugin supports multi-language (as per WordPress standard https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/internationalization/how-to-internationalize-your-plugin/). Basically you can use any language translation plugin (like WPML) which supports translating database options and create a template as well as add your translations there.
And then the translation plugin should take care of the rest as specified by WordPress standards.
Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out for further questions.
Hi,
If a customer adds tip or donation, can we display a thank you message on the order confirmation page?
Hi,
As of now the plugin is not supporting this feature. However, if you want this functionality our support team can help you in form of custom work. Can you please raise a support ticket at https://www.wildprogrammers.com/support/ where our support team can assist you better?
Thanks
Hi,
We have recently launched your requested feature. Can you please download the latest plugin and test it out?
Thanks
Thank you so much, we will test it out now.
Thanks.. Please let us know how it goes.
Hi,
I bought this plugin thinking that i can just use the donation shortcode alone but unfortunately it does’t add to my cart at all when i enter an amount the click donate, it doesn’t add to cart. I’m using the standard Storefront template to test it out.
Also i enabled it on the plugin settings.
Any idea what to do?
I’m only using woocommerce to process donations using yours.
Please let me know, truly looking forward to making this work.
Thanks.

Hi, the plugin works great! One thing I am looking for is that if we can set % of the total as tip/donation amount? So if the user can enter 1%, 5% or 10%? I hope it makes sense? Please let me know if this can be done.
Hi Sanjyot,
Thanks for a feature suggestion. I believe you created a support ticket.
Let’s continue our discussion there
Thanks again.
I’m about to purchase the plugin but I had a question / feature request! Is there a way to display the total amount of donations people have made via a shortcode?
Hi…
Thanks for checking out plugin and getting in touch.
Regarding your question / feature request, I believe you are looking for front-end short-code, that displays user donations, similar to WooCommerce order history on WooCommerce dashboard.
If this is the right understanding, currently plugin don’t support that functionality. But if you purchase then we will be more then happy to add this functionality in future version of the plugin.
Feel free to reach out for any other questions / feature request and we will evaluate.
Thanks again
Hi WildProgrammers,
I’m not looking for a history, just a simple donation total.
For example “Others like you have helped raise [total amount] so far!” where [total amount] is the total the plugin has helped raise.
Ahh, I see.
Yes, we can add that. I believe you want a setting to configure the language.
If you don’t mind, can you provide me some example of your intended functionality and I will make sure to make it as flexible as we can.
Sure! This is the example: I would like a shortcode, we can call it for this example [wildprogrammer_donation_total]. And all the [wildprogrammer_donation_total] does is output the total amount the plugin has helped raise in donations.
So say people have used your plugin on a website and have raised all together $40.73. The shortcode [wildprogrammer_donation_total] will simply display the numbers $40.73. It is up to the user to display it where they want, or how. The shortcode only outputs the total the website has earned in donations.
So someone could write anywhere on their website “You’ve helped raise [wildprogrammer_donation_total]!” or “I can’t believe with your help we have raised so much! It’s [wildprogrammer_donation_total], how crazy!”
I hope this makes sense! And I will be purchasing your plugin. :3
Makes a lot of sense. Yes, we will be more then happy to do this for you once you purchase the plugin.
If you don’t mind, please proceed with your purchase and create a support ticket at https://www.wildprogrammers.com/support/ and we will add the feature ASAP.
I’ve just purchased and will be following up with you in your support tickets, thank you!
Awesome
See you at our support platform
Great Work, Congratulations GLWS
Thanks
Congratulations! Nice Work, Good Luck with Sales
Thanks.
Hi. Does the plugin create a donation product? Is it possible to send or generate a separate report on just donations? Does it send notifications when a donation is made?
Hi.
Thanks for checking out.
No this product doesn’t create a separate product. It uses default WooCommerce functionality for accepting the donations.
Currently, it is not possible but we can definitely work on this requirement to achieve your desired functionality.
The plugin adds the donation details in WooCommerce order emails and also on order edit page to notify admin for the donation.
Hi. If you’re planning to work on adding to the functionality of the plugin, I’ll consider buying it.
Hi,
Regarding generation of sales report only for donation – yes we are considering to add that functionality in near future. However, we still need to understand the exact requirement and then implement it.
What we would suggest is – please buy it and then lets discuss your desired functionality on our support forum.
As you have some very good input for the product, we will be really happy to help you out in achieving that.
Great! I purchased a license. Will continue the conversation in the Support Forum once I can choose the WooCommerce Donation & Tip plugin in the support ticket
Thanks for purchasing
Apologies for the issue with the support forum. We are currently working on that.
However, we have added the feature for generating reports and added in the mail plugin. The plugin is under review right now.
Once review is completed (typically in 2 days), you would be able to see “Donation and Tip” submenu under “WooCommerce” in the admin panel as of the https://www.wildprogrammers.com/docs/woocommerce-donation-and-tip/donation-and-tip-reports/
Please check the documentation and provide some time for the plugin approval. Please provide suggestions, if any.
Thanks again
Hi.
The changes are approved and now you can download the latest plugin from codecanyon.
Please check out the report feature and let us know what you think for the same.
Thanks
That’s awesome! Thank you! Please give me a few days before I test the plugin.
A couple of suggestions and questions:
Is it possible to set an email address that the report should be sent to? Or would it be automatically sent to users with the Store Manager role? Can you choose the frequency of emails?
It would be great to have an option to add preset amounts, in a the form of three buttons, next to the text field that’s used for custom amount. See what I mean here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/wbu7NAYr Also, an optional message field, just like in the screenshot, would be nice to have.
Hi,
The plugin is not sending any emails or anything like that. Instead it creates a table, which will display the orders with the donation, donation amount, donating user and date. ( Documentation – https://www.wildprogrammers.com/docs/woocommerce-donation-and-tip/donation-and-tip-reports/)
You can give the access of this page to store manager so they can login and check the stats.
Regarding default donation buttons and a text box, that is really a great idea and we will plan this for our next release (which will be soon – we promise).
You guys are on fire!
As for the table page, is it possible to export that data to excel format in any way? That would be useful for the bookkeeper and fundraiser.
No, it doesn’t have that feature but yes – we can integrate that too. However, we would like to add CSV format – which is standard format used and it is very similar to excel.
We will add this in future enhancement lists and will add them ASAP.
The csv format is good enough. Thank you, again!
Thanks to you for all your valuable inputs. We will update you as and when we add the functionalities in the plugin
.
Hey,
Just a quick update – we have incorporated the “Export CSV” functionality on the donation report page.
Please download the latest update and let us know how you feel.
Hi there.
Quick update – all your recommended updates have been implemented in the product (currently under review). Please download the latest version of the plugin and let us know if we are missing anything.
If you are happy with the product, please rate the product. Your review and feedback are really valuable for us
Hi. I finally got to work with your plugin and it works. Thank you for adding CSS classes so that it’s easier to style buttons. A couple of things could be done to make this plugin stand out from other donation plugins.
1. It would be great if amount buttons and the custom amount field had the currency symbol (choice of before or after) 2. If there was a dropdown field for Fund (for example you could choose one of General, Pandemic, Wildfires). This field could be optional. 3. A textbox field to attach a message to donation (for example someone could add that the donation is in memory of their father.) Check this screenshot to see what I mean: https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuAKGmp
Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions.
1) Makes sense, we will add this in future versions of the plugin.
2) & 3) We already have an optional textbox field, which an admin can attach to the form and your user can provide a custom message. As of the dropdown field, we believe that your end-user can use that textbox to add any messages which he want and that will be noted and saved in our database. Hence we think this is redundant.
If you still want to have this feature – feel free to open a support ticket at https://www.wildprogrammers.com/support/ and we will be more then happy to help you in form of custom request.
Thank you for the consideration! Probably you’re right and maybe an extra field is redundant. But is it possible to make the textbox a textarea field instead of text field? I also cannot see any description to the field on the front end, so user will not know what the field is for.
Yes, it is possible but I think we are jumping to a custom requirement. Can you please create a support ticket @ https://www.wildprogrammers.com/support/ – where we can discuss your requirements.?
Thanks
OK, ticket submitted. Thanks for looking into it.
Thanks
