I’m currently running my website with GTranslate and I need a text to speech plugin that will read in either English, Spanish, Russian, Italian based on whatever language the text on the screen is currently set to, would this plugin work for what I need?
Hello! You are probably interested in the Speaker plugin https://is.gd/Lnq7we The Speaker can be used for a multilingual site but it is compatible with specific translation plugins. Please read more https://merkulove.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007546037-Does-Speaker-work-with-Multilingual-site-
Good afternoon it is compatible with the OceanWP theme with Elementor and with AMP
Hello! Please read about the compatibility https://merkulove.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004688697-Is-this-plugin-compatible-with-
Do you plan to make it working as a shortcode? Otherwise it’s useless on mobile, it’s not logic to have this thing on the whole site.
You can disable the plugin for mobiles via the Assignment tab settings https://take.ms/bNz94
And what about the speech when page is loaded every time? Can I disable it but keep the feature active?
Do you mean text to speech feature? If so, it can be disabled by a user https://take.ms/kp9sl or for the whole site via Readabler>General https://take.ms/Icr22
1) How about mobiles now? Maybe you have a solution for it yet? Because it’s not logical to keep this big button on the whole site on smaller devices. 2) I need text to speech to work all the time, possible?
1)Please specify which solution do you expect? The button is displayed correctly on mobile. If you want to disable it in mobile you can use the Assignments settings. 2) It can be considered as custom service.
1) A few ways that would be good. As a shortcode on a dedicated page with the entire accessibility popup, or by clicking on menu and the entire accessibility stuff pops out. The ideal option would be on menu, because it could work on the entire site. I know it can be disabled on mobile, but mobile is the most used device and such a big button for such a thing on the entire site doesn’t make sense no matter how you look at it. 2) I will use voicer plugin for it.
1)The plugin provides the feature to trigger the accessibility window through a menu, link or button using a special class. Please read more – https://docs.merkulov.design/trigger-the-accessibility-settings-via-button-menu-link/
Ok, cool! One more thing – I want to get rid of “hide forever” option. How can I do that, please?
You can disable the button via Readabler>Modal Popup>Hide Button in “Appearance and Behavior” section.
cool thanks
Is it possible to hide this trigger button on mobiles?
Or instead of hiding, maybe a better solution for mobiles? A shortcode for example..?
Hello! The separate shortcode of a trigger button for mobiles is not provided. A quick fix for this case is to use custom CSS styles to hide the button for mobile devices. You can contact us via help@merkulov.design if you need help with CSS for your case and provide your site link.
Hi, nice plugin according to demo.
But I have a question when I activate the plugin via a button or the menu. Does it then load Readabler first or is Readabler always in the page and the site gets bigger whether activated or not.
Hello! The Readabler is loaded on pages before you use a trigger like a button or a menu item. You can disable the plugin on certain pages via the Assignment settings.
Hello the floating icon on the demo page doesn’t work on mobile (Android + Chrome). It has a border when one click on it but no popup appears.
Hello! Please try the demo without the Envato frame https://readabler.merkulov.design/ In any way, we will fix it as soon as possible.
Thanks, it is working fine without Envato frame
hello, is there a way to make it compatible with WP rocket caching when clicking the “HIDE FOREVER” button?
Hello! Add mdp-readabler-hide cookie to exclusions. Read how to do this in WP Rocket https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1382-never-cache-cookies
How do yo usad the floating toggle icon manually, so it can go either in the main menu as an icon or to the right of the main menu?
Just replied to your email
Hello, the floating icon on the demo page doesn’t work again. It turns green when one clicks on it but nothing happens.
Hi! Thanks, it has been fixed.
Thank you!
Do u have solutions for non wordpress website?
Hello! For now, the Readabler plugin is only available for WordPress sites. We can offer a custom service for the development of the stand alone version. If you are interested please contact us via help@merkulov.design
The Readabler accessibility script is already available in our portfolio – https://codecanyon.net/item/js-website-accessibility-readabler/37539293?s_rank=1

Hello! The minimum PHP version for the Readabler is 7.2.5.
Hello, the floating icon on the demo page doesn’t work form me. It turns green when I click on it but nothing else.
Hello! Thank you for letting us know, the demo has been fixed.
Is it possible to use it multilingual website ( wpml plugin) ?
The plugin can be used on multilingual sites along with translation plugins such as Loco Translate. Use the WPML plugin documentation if you need help integrating the Readabler .pot file and WPML plugin.
Hi, is this plugin compatible with wpAstra theme? If they are nice combo, wich one do you suggest to use for more accessibility content:
Using Elementor Pro or using Gutenberg Editor?
Can I try it on a developer domain without activation and activate it only on final domain?
Hi! Readabler does not depend on the theme you are using.
The plugin works with the site on the frontend, it doesn’t matter which editor the site is built with.
You can activate the license on the local host if it does not violate the “one project” rules referred to in the license agreement.
Hi. I can’t activate my license.
Hi! Try the first solution from this article https://merkulove.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006100998-Troubleshooting-of-the-plugin-activation If this does not help, then write to us and specify your purchase code https://merkulove.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
I already send the request number (4296).
Thankyou
support Multisite?
Hello! Yes, it works on multisite.
Hi anyway can hide bottom reset setting and hide forever ??
Thanks
#mdp-readabler-reset-btn, #mdp-readabler-hide-btn{
display:none;
}
Looks great. One thing I noticed is that the “Text Magnifier” doesn’t work on a phone (Iphone 12) it displays half off the screen with no way to move it. It would be great if that could be fixed for phones or hide that option on phones.
Hello! Thanks for your note, we will fix it in the next release.
Hi; please can you confirm whether Readabler will work with the Divi Theme/Builder. Thanks
Hello! The plugin is compatible with the Divi theme and works correctly regardless of the builder you are using.
Thank you for the fast and positive reply. I’ve just quoted my client and will hopefully purchase once they accept the quotation.
