Documentation describes functions, but not how to use the plugin. There is no description of how a popup is created and how it is linked to a button. Under these circumstances, I cannot recommend this plugin at all.

To add a popup to a page you need to add the Modalier Elementor widget to the page where should select the content source(page, product, image…) you want to use for the poup and specify the button text https://take.ms/aNrk7

Hello! The plugin can use different types of sources for popup content https://take.ms/RIKYB including regular posts and custom post types. So, you can get a grid with your posts https://take.ms/swZRl in the popup and manage the displayed elements and the number of items per row.

Hello, the close button overlaps the modal window where I have information. If I set fullscreen I cannot reduce the window to move the close button outside the window if I set ‘no fullscreen’ I cannot resize the window because whatever size I put the window is always very small.

Is there a setting so the popup only displays once per visit? If they revisit the page, I would like to not have the user subjected to the modal a second time.

Can a modal popup be created via a text anchor link? I don’t want a button or video to click on, just a simple text or icon link with a anchor tag to open the modal. I can’t seem to see if this plugin offers that feature.

Please pay your attention to the Snitcher plugin https://codecanyon.net/item/popups-and-notifications-for-wordpress-snitcher/32271263 It has different triggers including On click and on hover that allow opening popup by clicking/hovering on elements(test, image) with specific selector. The plugin works with different page editors.

The Single image source only provides for certain behavior similar to image lightbox. You can add a video to the popup but the autoplay function is not included.
