I was able to fix it by manually moving the ‘user ‘section within the database to be inserted before the ‘groups_users’ (Might want to update your SQL import)
I also added a new line within my .htaccess (since I am in shared hosting) “RewriteBase / “

J’ai fais plusieurs essais avec toujours le même résultat : - Rétrogradé PHP de 8.0 à 7.4.30 - Redirigé vers public avec .htaccess

Hi, I think the error has little to do with the script, could also be due to a wrong configuration or error in the htaccess, some weird variable. you can check if a die(‘test’) is displayed in index.php, if not the php script will not be executed at all.
Also it would be better if /public is the root folder, but that’s another topic

Dont use header(“Location: /public/index.php”); at your index. If you call domain.ltd/public/ does another error occur? Can you send me an account via direct message?

I found the instruction file. My website hosting provider does not allow me to change my root folder from /public_html to /public.
Does my organization have to pay the $17 each time we want to launch a new petition or can we copy to a new directory the original purchased script?

I’m running a VPS rather than a hosted website. Primally working from the command line but also use ISPconfig (www.ispconfig.org) for tasks such as managing DNS zones, domains, email, quotas and so forth).
Running all latest versions from repositories:

I’ve migrated away from PHP v7.0, v7.1 and v7.2 as there was no need to have the additional 3 PHP daemons running, but not being used.
Petition is installed into the subdirectory ‘petition’ of domain.
Initial problem was a blank page w/Firefox or 500 Error with Iridium (Chromium based browser).
This was corrected with the following edit in index.php:
include dirname(DIR) . ’/petition/app/init.php’;
After this edit:
Entering: domain.com/petition/index.php
Returns ‘File not found’
While the loaded page URL has changed to:
domain.com/petition/login
The directory structure is as follows:

I always set my domain root path to /public, but i think when you try domain.com/petition/public it should be visible
I neglected to mention the directory structure was as in the ZIP file initially. When there were issues, I copied the /public files and directory to the /petition directory.
I’ve just re-created the /public directory (with, I believe, proper permissions and owner/group. (The index.php file as provided in the ZIP <smile>)
However it’s still returning ‘File not found.’ when opening domain.com/petition/private
There are no errors in the Petition log (in fact no log at all which is why I assume no error).
What may be causing the ‘File not found.’ error?
Why /petition/private? it should be /petition/public?!
