Sorry to bother you, but sometimes (without any change to the bot or something else) i receive this feedback from the plugin:
“During authorized API profile data synchronization Discord server responded with a message: 401: Unauthorized Possibly access to the Discord server was revoked.”
I really don’t know what to do.
I Mainly use the plugin to: 1) Take the roles (i setted up a level up sistem inside discord with role assignation) from Discord (Wordpress <—Discord), 2) Apply that role to Website Users to show or hide certain content on my site.

when a user authorizes their discord for some reason it creates them a whole new account on the site. I am running a membership site using WooCommerce and the users join and connect their discords after joining and paying for the membership site.
just finding out now if they used a different email than the one on their discord to sign up to the membership site when they connect discord the plugin creates a new account for them on the membership site and obviously it's a free account not the one they paid with.is it possible to just get the Discord user ID when they connect bot and update their current profile with it?
also is there an ability to synchronize just role of a selected user? this way if I have to add Discord ID manually to a users profile I can sync just that user and not get rate limited by discord syncing the whole member list which is hundreds right now and most likely going to be thousands of members in coming weeks
Hy, Ray) Profile attaching, synchronization, rate limits, button to sync user for front-end, all of it comes in the next update. I am planning to release it after September 12. I currently have a beta version with these fixes, can send you one for you to continue building your website until I preparing an update.

Hello!. Excellent plugin, how do users connect between wordpress and discord? Through the invitation link or through their emails?
I mean, the roles are kept synchronized, but how does discord identify who comes from wordpress? If I register directly in discord without going through wordpress, are the roles synchronized if I have the same email?
Hello) When a new person authorizes with discord API WP profile and Discord profile are linked. Plugin going through all such WP profiles. If this person never was on your website you can manually connect Discord profile by id. Syncing users by comparing emails unfortunately is not possible because API does not give emails of all guild members. You can get user email only if he particularly shares it with the website. On WP profile page there is a Discord Data section and a button to connect the Discord profile to current account.

Right. And yes, it would) A complication is comparing identification – all member’s emails are not available because of the API restrictions. Another unique flag is the Discord user ID, but until the user is authorized or you manually assigned it, I have no way of knowing which WP profile is related to which Discord profile. I need at least something unique and the same on both sides – maybe I missed something…
if a guild member does not want to register on your website, unfortunately all we can do right now, manually assigning Discord profile by ID. I described with images in the documentation how to get the user id in Discord client and how to assign it manualy. If you cant find these interfaces or else let me know – I will help.

Hello) If I understand correctly you are asking from a developer’s perspective. When the plugin is completely installed you could use a method that is available in the main model class. You will need to pass Discord user id and role id to this method. If you have only the user name, you can make a select request from the database table where members data is stored and get the user Discord id. Also, you can get the role id from another roles table in the database. heya nicolaypetrovich just seen your post from 16 days ago and was searching for a plugin like this! only thing I was missing like game-invaders said is sync/restricting pages with discord roles! if you are able to add this I’ll might insatally buy it and will also spread the word, cause it would be insane! made an account to comment <3
