You can put in header menu any links you want and create submenus for your categories.
You have to buy application and after that request customization.

Hey, how’s it going? I went into your admin panel and saw a permissions area; I would like to know if these permissions (updates) are available (I’m talking about the ones that aren’t enabled); or are they just lists of future updates you will make?

Here you can enable/disable specific URL for user role.

Just an observation:
I don’t know if it’s intentional or a Script Bug; but when I’m on the 5 or so pages of the books, and I go to the single page of the book, when I go back to the previous page, I end up going to the first page, regardless of which page I was on before.
This is by design. You leave ”/books” URL and go to another, after that you return to the same ”/books” URL and script doesn’t know what page you used previously.

Don’t you think this is bad for the user? Imagine, I’m at page 100 of the books, so I decide to go to the single page of a book; I’m not interested in the book; so I decide to go back to the previous page; instead of going back to page 100, your script takes me to page 1.
I, as a user, would not want this to happen to me!

I liked the script! Questions before purchasing: About future script updates, can I do them without taking the site offline?
If I want to install the local script first, using xampp or similar, is there any way to make future updates?
What precautions do you take to not over-code the script; like, you make money from sales, so you’re always adding codes that every user needs; but many of the above requests I don’t need; in future updates, these codes will be installed into my script without my permission.
In your script, you have categories; don’t see it in your demo script; if yes, where would it be? Like, on a side menu or on a specific page?
If you want to use your freelancer services; what your future updates would look like to me; would I still be able to update my script without losing the changes?

It depends on update. If there is no database changes you can simply extract files.

You can read list of changes and decide if you need these changes. The best practice is update test environment before any changes in production. So you can test changes and decide if it can go to PRODUCTION.
For frontend part you can create your own theme and this theme won’t be updated (we update our own files only).

Thanks for the answers; when I quote about categories, I talk about those categories; Administration, Adventure, Arts, Biographies and Memories, etc; how they would look in your script; side menu, or it would open on another page that would show the categories.
It could also be a cascading category.
Your categories looks like genres in our system. There is no separate page with list of genres but system has separate page for each genre books, for example https://library.kaasoft.pro/genre/66/books
You can create your own custom page with genres if you need it or add popular genres to menu.
Genres don’t support child/parent structure in current version.

On the Permissions page, I see an option, Create Category; what, would this permission be?
I wrote about categories previously (see example above). Category is something like genre for books but used for blog posts. In other words “category” is used to group blog posts.
Permission “create category” means that user who has this permission can create category.
Before I make a decision to buy it, I would like to make sure: Can I create Categories and post a book up to three categories?
