Hi! Just bought this plug in. Love it. Can we make the Tool Tips linkable? We are using this on a map to show different properties. Once the name of the property shows up in the tool tip, I’d like someone to be able to click the name and go to the property page. Is that possible?
Hi,
You can just set the hotspots to be HTML type, and insert the links inside the hotspots by using the WYSIWYG editor.
We use this plugin on a website using the WPLMS theme. The shortcodes render as expected when viewing or previewing the page from the Wordpress Admin, but they don’t render for students when taking courses on the front end. The frontend just displays the shortcode coding. Can you recommend anything we can try troubleshooting? Deactivating plugins doesn’t make a difference. I thought it may be the theme itself? Maybe jquery?
Hi, we do not think this may be a jquery problem. For some reason your theme does not render the shortcode. Did you try to change theme? Also, you can try this proposal that we found in their forums.
“Create the shortcode content in the other page adn then after adding the shortodes switch to text mode and then copy the content . Now paste this content in the front end edit wp-editor in text mode.”
Really interested in this plugin. Any plans on making it compatible with Gutenberg?
I have purchased this plugin, but after setting up the image tooltip im getting this error in my console:
Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: unsupported pseudo: animated
The image is showing but the tooltip is not visible when I hover with my mouse on the tooltip. How can I fix this error?
We are not familiar with this error. Can you give show us the URL with the error?
Sure, the website where i’m using the plugin: https://bit.ly/3fWwJEJ
It seems that you are loading the slim build version of jquery (instead of the regular). Try to load the regular jquery version. The one you know load is
https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.5.1.slim.min.js?ver=3.5.1
It’s working now, thank you!
I have purchased your “WordPress Tooltips Ultimate & Image Hotspot Plugin” and it seems it does not work properly with Visual Composer (NOT WP BAKERY).
How can it be fixed?
What exactly does not work? You will probably not see the tootlip button in bakery editor. But you can add hotspot shortcodes in backery, or add a class in bakery on your words, and create the tooltip that is attached on the style.
As I mentioned in my original post, I am using VISUAL COMPOSER (https://visualcomposer.com/). I am NOT using WP Bakery. I keep waiting for a solution for VC. Thanks.
Sorry, the same goes for VC.
Hi, all your screen shots are not with the gutemberd edit system… could you update please?
When I highlight a word or a link to place a tooltip on it, the toolip applies to the whole block instead of the word/link I highlight so the tip is not placed at the right place ( center of the block)... and it applies to all the links in the block!
The “highlight tooltip” tab next to the live tootip tab in WP backoffice isn’t working at all.
In the edit mode of the Gutemberg block there is no tool for the plugin as shown on you screen shots… So the only option is le live edit.
Impossible to change the values in the fields, like padding, max width for smart phones etc…
I am not happy with this purchase, I am about to ask for a refund.
Hi, we are not compatible with Gutenberg. You can ask a refund from envato.
I’ve created an Image Hotspot, put the shortcode on a page, published the page, and the preview for that page brings up my images on hover. When I put the URL for that page into another chrome browser window, the images do not show up on hover. The URL is at:
https://andresinstitute.org/aia-park-interactive-map/Only the 1 and 66 on the left side of the map have hotspots while I’m testing this product. My goal is to do all 100 items on this map. Is this possible with this technology?
I see the note about adding the PHP code if I have all of the same icon to help wit the max_input_vars directive limit. Where on the site do I put the PHP code?
Thanks, Dave
Hi, are you using any plugin that messes with images? We see that the image src on your hotspot should be https://andresinstitute.org/wp-content/uploads/1-Phoenix-.jpg, but instead it is data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7.
Thanks, Dave
Try deactivating all other plugins (maybe there is a conflict) and see if it is fixed. If it is fixed, try activating the plugins one-by-one until you find the plugin that causes the conflict.
Hi, when I use your Tooltip WP utility bar tool to add the tooltips it’s created them in the backend but on the frontend when you hover over the tool tips they are all using the same tooltip originally created first.
How can you get them to show the different tool tips?
Thanks.
Hi, can you send us the exact URL with your issue? Along with screenshots of the issue?

Hi There,
I bought the plug in yesterday
.
1. in the backend (https://www.evernote.com/l/ATlfXJ0KMmBACpJHbLcdXvYLcq12h-PxFu0) I cannot seem to define what the width of the actual image should be, the plug-in does that automatically and it is very small on the front end, as you can see by this link: https://lilmasters.hira.co.za/our-products/basic-baby-diapers/
I need to be able to define what the width of the actual background image should be. Your demos seem fine, but I cant achieve the same in wordpress?
Thanks for your help
Ηι,
You can adjust the width of the with simple css rules. For example:
Something like this will set the image to a certain width
.wpcmtt_hotspot_container img#wpcmtt_image_hotspots_643 {
width: 400px;
}
Alternatively, you can set the width of the image to 100% of your outer container with this code
.wpcmtt_hotspot_container {
width: 100%;
}
awesome, thanks this works. Just a quick one, can this not be included in the admin area of when setting up the image hot spot as a feature in a later update?. but thanks again
Issues: 1- the background I added to the modal isn’t showing up. 2- the tooltip doesn’t work for users on mobile or tablet.
I’m using “simple Text” and the Astra theme header.
We see that the covid 19 button, is a different element for mobile (and you have attach the tooltip only to the desktop version). To fix it, add the same class in both elements, and add this class inside your tooltip as a selector.
For the background, you should open the tooltip, copy in a notepad the code you have there (you have it as an HTML we guess), and then you should set the tooltip type as modal and paste the HTML code you’ve copied before.
Hi Gang, I sent a message a few days ago. I need to be able to have a button on the “modal”. I’ve tried <button> but it is not clickable. I also tried an html link and it is not clickable either. In the plugin demo, there is an “add to cart” option. But is it possible to add custom buttons that are not woocommerce products?
Hi Gang, I bought the plugin because I thought I could add buttons using HTML. I created all the stuff from a theme you have in the plugin. I am using the modal since the modal needs a lot of information. That information includes buttons to different pages on my site. How do I achieve this?
Thanks! It worked BUT the color of the button needs to be fixed. The background and the text color is the same. The custom CSS option did not work either.
.wpcmtt-tooltip-style-37.qtip a { color: green !important; }
where 37 is your style ID
Hi,
The plugin is nice, I have a question :The pages with the category taxonomy tolltips style (ex : https://www.my-website.com/tooltip_selector-category/) are 404 pages. These pages appear in the xml sitemap.
Thank
Hi, you should use YOAST SEO and remove these pages from your sitemap.
Hi, the tooltip styling doesn’t work anymore. I can’t style my tooltips on my image hotspots.
Hi, have you got our latest version 2.29 installed? What do you mean it does not work?
Hi,
your solution to display an audio player in a tooltip works fine. Thanks.
I have other questions.
1/ I want to display a video from the dailymotion platform. Is it possible ?
2/ And if y want to display a local video ?
Thanks
Hello,
It seems this plugin adds lots of extra assets to the page which we have already included and optimized e.g. font-awesome, google-font, etc.
How do we make sure the assets are not loaded throughout the website, and ONLY on the page/post where the shortcode is actually embedded?
Also – if I already have font-awesome loaded, along with google fonts, how do I prevent your plugin from loading them again – slowing down my page?
Amit
Hello,
I want to integrate the WordPress audio player in a tooltip. During my tests the player is displayed badly and does not work. I used the [audio src = “https://www.site.com/sound.mp3” /] Shortode in an HTML type field.
Can you tell me how to embed WordPress audio player into a tooltip?
WordPress Version : 5.6.1 WordPress Tooltips Ultimate : 2.29
I am asking for a refund for the purchase of the plug. Thank you
Hello, is it possible to insert Iframe with 360° picture? thx
We are compatible with iframes, but to be sure, please check our backend demo and try to see if it works.
Hello, I want to add image tool-tip to an option inside drop-down select field. I’ve tried to use css selector like this: select#input_41 option:nth-child(2) for mouse, hover and focuse but non of it is working. Second option get its data-hasqtip number but the image is not displayed. Is there a way to make this work? Thank you in advance.
P.S. if I need to renew support for this kind of help let me know
The correct way to do so, is to create a radio list (so that when the user hovers over each option, he sees the corresponding tooltip). With a radio list will work for sure. Dropdowns are kind of trick (since they open and close and are browser different).
Thank you. Yes, everything works fine with the radio list. I have them in the same form
But because of the overall design of the form I need this particular list to be the drop-down.
Unfortunately, you cannot add a tooltip to a dropdown selection.
