Hello, I installed this plugin, connected it to Google Drive and managed to customize it. I am happy with it, but I have one question now. is it possible that for each uploaded file I have a custom description/name or at least that there are no extensions in the file name (eg .pdf, .jpg, ...) and is it possible that I have a custom thumbnail for each of these files? Otherwise, is your plugin compatible with some other plugin so in combination can I achieve that? Thank you!

Unfortunately there is no extra desctiption or custom thumbnails options for files, it just for sharing your files/folders with your users.

My plugin is set up correctly with S3. It functions well, except for the fact that my users often get cryptic error messages, which makes the solution feel unstable.

Hello! I am very impressed with the plugin and it fulfills a vital need in my business to give clients access to their own files on a S3 bucket.
I have a few questions: - How can i customize the height of the file manager? Is there any parameter that I can use in the shortcode? - I would like to default ‘list’ view for my users. How can I accomplish that? - will the plugin continue to be supported and updated when new wordpress versions are released?

You can change the height of the window by going to js folder inside the plugin and find “height” parameter in each file there. Each of these file correspond to each location where you see the filemanager, like front-end, backend, inside shortcode editor etc.
You will also find the defaultView commented there, you can remove the comment and assign “list”, more info here:

Yes, the plugin will be updated to work with all wordpress version and any bugs that might show up will be fixed.

Cloud manager doesnt have thumbnail previews since the files are stored remotely and not on your server. If the plugin tried to download all images and then create local cache to create thumbnails, it would take too long to open folders.

Yes, you can upload any type of document, there are format no restrictions. It will allow users to upload the files directly or paste an external url of the file to upload, screenshot:

What do you mean? If you want to use wordpress folders to share files/folders with the users instead of cloud services, then you can use this plugin:

Yes, you can choose which users or user roles can access which folders and set their permissions. Here is a screenshot of the permissions you can set:

you can download the latest version of the plugin and it should work fine. If it doesnt, switch the region of your bucket from your aws account, some regions still have older encryption
on the backend I can access my data only the problem in the front end

You can change the drive name for google drive by going to:
plugins\filemanager_cloud\includes\php\connector_front.php
and change this variable to any string you like (screenshot):

Couple of questions :
1 : The top menu bar – how do i get it bigger. Expecially the searchbar area. It the most important part. So i need to make the search area bigger and more visible
2 : Can i remove the popup bit that comes when pushing on the search area? So the drop down menu dosent appear
3 : is it possible to remove the left menu area – so it dosent show at all?

You can use the metro theme for flat design instead of the default with shadows. You can find the theme settings in settings page of the cloud manager.
yeah i understood that.
as i said. im trying to remove the shadow from the box – in metro. So it dosent look like it floats.

Hi, this plugin seems fantastic- my question is would it work for a multi-member youtube type site where each member would be uploading video? Do all the videos from the site goes to the WP Media Library then we send the videos to a google drive account? Would all the videos go into my google drive account? Could the vids go to different google drive accounts if each member had a google account?) The original videos uploaded would then just remain on regular pages / gallery like youtube. Uploaded files wont go to wordpress media library, they will go directly to google drive or dropbox or S3.
Videos will go to your (admin) google drive account not the users, you can access other user’s google drive account.

If we upload media file to aws s3 and customer access to our wordpress website, visitors can see images as if these images are in hosting server ?

Data transferred is directly from google drive, your site wont be involved. Files are not uploaded or downloaded to your site.
Hi, I am receiving an error when accessing my S3 bucket on my mobile.

Steps to reproduce: In WordPress with the shortcode added to a “Page” AND accessed on Android using the Chrome browser. The issue does NOT occur on my laptop (Windows using Chrome browser).

I havent tried the google shared drive. But if you can access keys for the google shared drives, then you should be able to make it work too.

You can upload videos to your google drive through the plugin, but it wont automatically upload the videos to youtube.
Also I think youtube removed the option to upload videos from google drive altogether recently, if I am not mistaken.
