It will work on any wordpress installation, but you will need dropbox, google drive or aws s3 to share folders/files with users. It doesnt matter which hosting you have.

You can display a dropbox folder for the front-end users and they can upload and download files from there. I am not sure what you mean by file save path, but it wont automatically save files to dropbox.

Yes, when you assign folder to specific users, you can choose to let them upload or restrict uploads.
Yes, when you upload a file to a folder that has been assigned to a user, only those users can see that file.
You dont need to download the files to your wordress, the plugin will read the files directly from your Dropbox/gdrive/s3

Users cant share their own folder with anyone else, unless you assign them the same folder, then they can upload files and other users will be able to see those files.

Its using AWS sdk to connect to s3 buckets, switching just the url wont work. I’ll see if I can modify it to make it work with linode object storage in the future updates, but cant make any promises.

Yes, if you give them write access to a folder in your s3 bucket, they can upload files to it.

It works with Google drive and you can view office files through it but it doesnt have the complete gsuite features.
Private folders can be created for each user manually and then you can create shortcodes for each user. It wont automatically create the folders for user though.
Only one google drive account works at the same time.
Users can upload files, you can also restrict file types and size.
Yes upload can be limited for each shortcode generated (in the case if you are using shortcodes for each user).
Yes the users are all wordpress users, they dont need to log into their google accounts.
You can set user restriction in the shortcode. However the admin is the only one who can manage the plugin itself.

You should bring gsuite work as quickly as possible.

That would be a whole different product, this product is meant to share cloud drives with users including dropbox and aws s3. Perhaps I could it add it in the future updates if possible.

You could get a public link to images by assigning a folder to “everyone” and upload images in that folder, and then in the front-end right click that image and click the icon beside download to get the url. But the image will be verified through your site so it will have a slight delay for loading, so it wont be practical.
The plugin is for sharing folder and files with users. Not as a cdn service.
