Yes It is one to one chat. But, it is a general chatroom where anyone who logs in to the system will be shown. But the chatting will be done one to one only.

Hi, A working demo would be a good idea to increase your sales. Would you consider adding a “Guest” login feature and administration back-end? The Admin could look at chat logs, users, IP addresses of those users etc. It would also be a good idea if people could add a person as a favorite for instance or be able to block a user.. There are so many ideas!
I know there are a multiple ideas of extending the script… But i have kept it at basic so that it can be implemented in any systems

1 & 2. You can anytime modify the frontend to achieve your needs.
3. The authentic process is controlled by NodeJS
4. Right now the option available is private chatting only.
But, if you want these functionalities then I can modify the script meeting your needs you will just have to state the description of your needs.

Is there going to be any update, cause there are lots of bug that needs to be fixed.
Yes absolutely was working on the update but due to this COVID situation, all things are affected which had resulted in the delay of that update.
It has bugs that are just beyond the logic to fix. The quality doesn’t look like, if it is built by team, it looks like a one man app.
If in case you are single developer which my guess is based on it’s quality, how has COVID impacting the delay? Are you trying to stay away from VScode or PHPStorm or any Editor you use?
I launched a droplet and setup the server installed the app and found the whole UI is broken, it’s rendering template variable instead of parsing file and so on with other errors. I felt frustrated and deleted the droplet and came here to see, if there is any update on bug or if it’s just me, can you create a video of installation if its viable for you!

Can you just contact me so that I can help you with the installation process For everyone who has purchased this script, it is working fine for them. You are the only one who has complained about the issue. So, there was no need for an immediate update as it was working fine. The new update will come adding new features. Best thing will be If i will have a look at it directly and see the issue. If I will make a video, It will have same steps as mentioned in the user guide, So it will not be helpful for you I guess. So, if I can have access so that I will install it on you server, it will be best for you and also less time consuming.

SO you have deleted the droplet.
Since you have deployed it to the server, have you followed the developer guide and changed the base url and api url variable values to the server ip as mentioned there?

I need to add an internal messaging system for student support. Students should send messages to the teacher only and the teacher should be able to reply to each student.
Can I limit the interface so that the students by default only send messages to the teacher?
Is it possible to attach files to messages?

1. If you want to make changes in the script then i think you will have to buy extended license.
2. Right now this script does not support the audio and video chatting. But I can extend the script to meet your requirements and set it up for you (and absolutely it will cost you some amount)
3. No you do not need any third party paid api to make this script run.

Hello duytran, as far as this script is considered, it is mainly for messaging, as i have mentioned, and it is also present in the user guide. So till now, image and video sending is not present in this script. And if you want me to add those things for you, I can happily do that, but unfortunately addition of modules does not come under the envato support conditions. You will have to hire me externally as freelancer to do that task.
