Hello,
How can we assign the title automatically on a taxonomy selection?
We do not want users to fill in the title manually so we disabled it, can we automatically fill it from the selected taxonomy that is enforced?
Also for the mobile, can we add another button besides the Add Location button on the fullscreen map?
Our users are having trouble marking areas out of their immediate surroundings, it is hard to locate an address away from home on the add location map, how can we find a workaround for this?
Thank you Appreciate your hard work!
Hi,
Unfortunately, there’s no option to assign the title based on a taxonomy.
Regarding the layout on mobile, i’ll try to improve this in the next update.
Thank you

How can I deactivate the google pins
When you say you cannot use the same taxonomy twice, do you mean the same categorize of taxonomies such as Select, Multi-check and so forth… or do you mean you cannot use the same categorize in different taxonomies twice? or do you mean you cannot use two taxonomies within the same custom field? I do not understand what you mean when you say “You cannot use the same taxonomy twice.”
Hello, my settings changes are not updating when i press update. It says it has updated but then all my settings are the same as before. I have already cleared my cache. Can you assist me with what might be causing this? Thank you.
Hi, purchase code: e60bd3a4-baa4-4efa-a5c4-0f85447f014b I’ve installed progress map + submit location but after we installed submit location the infobox became unavailable.
5 months ago Urbanpingpong submitted the same issue I’ve now: Submit Locations => Add/ Edit Custom Fields => If I select “text” or anything else + “required” then I receive an error message after I want to submit the location, even if I have filled the field. In addition there is the infobox issue…
Hi… just to update you…. in fact the custom field content is not “passed” to the post that has custom field empty….
In addition… Submit map does not inhert maps settings of Progressive map (es. zoom, controls, etc…)
So?
Is that a support??
Hi, have you ever considered a laravel/codeignter php version of these?
Hi,
Unfortunately no.
Thank you
Support needed, Plugins will not allow page to load: I have added 500+ locations to my map and soon as I have more than 505 location my website hompage – where I have integrated the map – won’t load anymore. I will only load when I am logged in as an admin in Wordpress. Can you please advise on what to do and how to fix this?
Hi,
Please send me the login of your site to plugin.progressmap@gmail.com to check this and please mention your username (urbanpingpong) in your message.

Hi,
Please check the first steps on the documentation to see how you can setup “Progress Map”, how to create a map and how to add new locations to it. All these can be found at http://www.docs.progress-map.com/progress-map-user-guide/
1. First steps: http://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/first-steps/
2. Create maps: http://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/creating-displaying-a-map/
3. Add locations: http://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/adding-new-locations/
Once you did the above, visit “Submit Locations” documentation at http://www.docs.progress-map.com/submit-locations-user-guide/
1. Create the form: http://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspmsl_guide/create-a-new-form/
2. Display the form: http://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspmsl_guide/display-the-form/
I hope this helps.
Thank you
Hey, how can I display “custom fields” (which I have added to the submit locations page) in the single post page? The idea is that a user can click on the submitted location on the map and then see the custom fields + the entries for the customs fields (e.g “Quality of the Location”: “good”) in the post page. Thanks for a short reply, Daniel
Hey! It is possible to address the submit locations fields in the standard post template via a WordPress Rest API? thanks, Dan
Hello; I have been reviewing your product, but I have some doubts, they can help me. 1- To make use of the map and have users add their locattions, with which license can I do it, only with this: Progress Map (the base) plus Submit Locations. 2- This license that covers, use on 1 site, but for any number of users. 3- With Submit Locations, when I create a publication, it can be edited with Elementor or another constructor, which gives it a better appearance. It is a normal post or WordPress post. Thank you.
Hey, is there a limit to the number of posts being displayed on the map? currently (I have 360 posts added to the map) my webpage won’t load (the whole page doesn’t load, I am only seeing a blank page). As soon as I delete one post, the website loads normally (so it loads normal with 359 posts). And in the admin view in Wordpress, the page load just fine. Thanks for help!
@codespacing – do have an idea what could cause the described problem?
Problem solved, thanks anyway
Hi!
Ist it possible to build our own form with your solution?

Sorry – here you find the right url: https://projects.invisionapp.com/share/EUXPGUFTMP6#/screens/421782506
Hi,
Yes you can use the plugin to cerate a form closer to the one you shared. Please refer to the documentation ( http://www.docs.progress-map.com/submit-locations-user-guide/ ) to see how you can add new fields to the form.
Thank you
Hi,thanks for add “add media” button. Is there a plan so that you can enter images in the “editor” without having to LOG IN in WordPress as in the WP User Frontend plugin? Another question, to enter “tags” as a text field without having to select some already existing “tags,” can it be configured in any way, or maybe that function will be added at some point?
Hi,
Please note that guest users with no rights are not allowed to upload files in the wp editor. This is WordPress standard, not a bug in the plugin. I’m not sure if this will be possible at all without letting the users to login.
About the field tags, i’ll see what i can do about this.
Thank you
Hey, I‘d like to admit further upload formats. At the moment it is only possible to upload .jpg files. What can I do to admit further upload formats such as mp3, m4a, mov etc? Best regards, Nicolas
Hi,
For support, please contact me from the account you’ve used to purchase the plugin.

A few questions, things we need to know to use the tool for our use case:
Progress Map: - Is there a way to extract all the locations via xls, cvs or anything like? Oder some other kind of reporting?
Submit Locations: - Is is possbile to move the Button “Submit Location” (which is on top of the page) to the bottom of page? - is it possbile change the Color of the Cancel Button (without changing the other colors)? - Is is possbile to change the color of the Cross Hair button? - Is it possbiel to hide the “Latitude” and “Longitude” field?
Thanks Daniel
Hi,
1. About importing locations, unfortunately the plugin doesn’t provide an option to do that.
2. About the “Submit location” button, the plugin doesn’t provide an option to move it to the bottom but i’ll try to add an option for that in a future update.
3. To change the color of the “cancel” button, please edit your map and add the following CSS code in the field “Customize => Custom CSS code” :
.cspmsl_submit_form_container input[type=button][name^=cspmsl_cancel_btn]{
background: #fed405 !important;
}
Check this post for more details about customizing the map http://www.docs.progress-map.com/cspm_guide/customize/customize-the-map-using-your-custom-css-code/
4. About the crosshair button, there’s no option to change its color but i’ll provide an option in a future update.
5. About the latitude and longitude fields, you can’t hide theme. These buttons are required to show your locations on the map.
Thank you
Thanks a lot for your reply. A few Bugs: - Submit Locations => Add/ Edit Custom Fields => If I select “Checkbox” + “required” then I reveice an error message after I want to submit the location, even if I have selected the Checkbox. After I close the error message, the lcoation is added to the map, which is confusing - Add/ Edit Tabs => Display Tab order => Does not work, I can not change the order
Hi,
If you don’t mind, please send me the link of your map to test the submit form. I’ve tried to reproduce the checkbox issue in my test site but in vain.
About the tabs order, i’ve also tried it and it works fine.
Thank you
Hey,
here is the link, in case this helps: https://www.urbanpingpong.de/ (PW: 123)I think i have resolved the ordering issues, but the other one still exists (check out the mobile version).
And is there any way (oh my god, this would be of great help!!) to help uns move the “submit” button to the bottom? (Because I only got good feedback for the tool for our case, except for the button…). Some CSS code or anything? Anything is highly appreciated!
Thanks a lot, Daniel
Hi,
About the checkbox issue. I confirm it and i’ll try to fix it ASAP. In the meanwhile, please deactivate the required option for that field to prevent this issue.
About the button, changing its position using CSS or else is not possible. I’ll also add a new option to make this possible in the next update.
Thank you
Hey,
thank you for your reply.
Adding the possibility to change the position of the button would be great. Would really enhance the way in which we use the tool. (And I think also for the tool in general).
Let me know if you need anything testing-wise.
Thanks, Dan
One question: Is the the possibility to open the “Submit Locations” function on full screen, after I hit the “add Location” button?
Hi,
I’ll also add this in the next update.
Thank you
Thanks, Dan
Hey, quick question, if you know already when you are deploying the next update? Just asking because (since the tool is core to our website), we are also in the process of planning our website release. Thanks, Daniel
Hi,
New updates are planned to be released next month.
Thank you for your patience
I have added custom fields to the submission form but when the form is submitted, the admin edit screen doesn’t show any values in those fields. For example, I have a Street Address custom field. I also have a City custom field. The City field populates correctly in the admin but not the Street Address, it is empty. Can you help me on this?
Never mind. Got it resolved. To anyone else running into this issue, the “Name” field in the form builder is used for the “name” attribute on the form input. So, “Street Address” won’t work but “street_address” will.
Hi, is there a way that I can enable the insertion of images or videos in “CONTENT” with “Visual Editor”? Like a normal TinyMCE from local storage (own computer)? Do I need that user sends me content with images, videos but using just the visual editor, exists any form?
Hi,
I’ll add this option in the next version very soon.
Thank you
Thank you so much!

When I go to create a new map, there are no options on that page. Only to name it.
