Hello, When someone is playing videos as “episodes” that are also showing in the right of the page could there be a “favorite” or “add to my list” button? That would greatly help the use as a database movie site. – I would need a Watched button in movies/shows/episodes like Add to Watchlist or Add to Favorite as many users have asked for in other threats. There seems to be a bug. If you try to insert (add) a new movie from within a title and then you try to add a thumbnail the system is hanging forever with any browser. Tried a dozen of times either with chrome and firefox

If you mean for movie files, then you could upload them via FTP or some other upload manager and then only enter urls to files in MTDb.
What I am talking about is when I mass upload movies does they get auto sorted via action, drama with all the MTDb information for example plex does this and over time and runs a check for new movies and add them to the movie list.

So are you saying after mass upload we still to enter a url to all the files reason for my question what if we are uploading 6k plus files then what?
Can you clarify a bit on what you mean by mass upload?
I urge you to install plex and see for yourself how easy it is just to put movies into a folder once you point plex to that folder it will scan them and automatically put them into the library. Plex will even sort the movies as to what is action, drama, and so on.
It pulls all this info from the movie database and the movie covers the issue I see with not just your Netflix clone but just about all of them lacking this vital feature of mass upload with no auto sorting via IMDb database.
So my point and question were uploading 3000 plus movies then manual entering URL that is a lot of time.
There’s no built in option for this currently, but I’ll see if we can add it with a future update.
This will be a big deal which will make you one of the first in fact I pointed Kodi to my movie folder and it does work just like Plex. The movies got sorted by title and the database added the year of the movie and the cover.

You would first import the movie metadata form admin area and then upload a video.
Syncing metatada from a folder is out of scope for MTDb currently.

MTDb can be set up to work in fully automated mode. It can perform search without any local database, automatically update various lists using 3rd party APIs, import movie and series data including meta information, credits, images, videos, news, episodes and more, all without you having to do anything manually.
I have both Plex and Kodi setup if I upload a movie they both will pull the meta data from one of the know meta database source for example IMDB and TMDb.
Is your script talking about the same thing when you said Handsfree Automation?
Yes, it’s mostly the same thing. It will pull metadata from TMDb.

The movie page for example here https://mtdb.2.vebto.com/titles/201/wonder-woman-1984. The top banner/image always appears, is there a way to disable? (or customize this page in other ways without editing the source – for example to remove social buttons)

Is it possible if I click on a thumbnail and instead to show the page with the movie details ratings cast ets, just play the video straight? 2. Is it possible to rename the 2 types in title movie, series to video, photos? 3. I need to remove the log-in buttons or make it not functioning. Would it be possible? 4. In the search list would it be possible to have both landscape and portrait thumbnails depending on the orientation of the thumbnail image? 5. 1. Yes, you can show a “play” button on thumbnails.
2. If you just need to change the text then yes, you can do it from translations.
3. There’s no built in option for this, but you could hide them with some custom css from “admin > appearance editor > custom code” page.
4. This would require some custom modifications.
5. You don’t need anything special, just a master playlist file.
6. We’ve no plans for it currently.

I installed it on my Runcloud using pure Nginx, I put the rules in the Nginx configuration, but even so some pages give redirection error due to the absence of the htacess that does not exist in nginx.
The main URL loads public, but apparently static files don’t load in the public folder. It keeps giving CSS and JS errors on an infinite loading screen.

Changing filters currently would require some custom modifications.
Only if you can add added movies language no release language because that help filter language for users
