1. Yes you can make email as mandatory field.
2. WPNotif at the moment does not handle anything related to emails, but in future we are planning to add the functionality.
3. Yes, you can switch anytime.
4. No, promotional messages can only be sent with WPNotif and it does not come with any free gateway but you can use your android phone’s SMS plan to send SMS for free.

The plugin is already extremely optimized but since we have an option for modal/popups which most of the people use there are some scripts which load on all pages but their impact is negligible. Still if you dont want to load the plugin on all pages then you can take help of any third party plugins as there are hundreds of available both free and paid to not load specifc plugins on specific pages.

Yes, the plugin will still work without elementor. Infact for it to work you do not need to have any third party plugin installed at all.
Found a bug with woocommerce. If the site uses ajax “add to cart” buttons: 1. Visit the site for the first time or incognito 2. Immediately click the “add to cart” button 3. Without updating the page, try to log in or register on the site through a modal window
Authorization or registration will give an error and will not allow you to do this until you refresh the page

Pre Sales Query – Hi, I installed Miniorange OTP verification and noticed when user registers with OTP, then that number is stored as telephone meta key in database but not as account number in edit account page or not in billing number. User will not be able to access this number to change it in edit account page.
Same seems to be issue in lot of comments here – Is this done purposely on your plugin as well? Or does the mobile number show up in edit account page as a separate field? Currently in edit account only 4 fields show up – username, first last name, email. Then for password thats it.

Hi there, all of our data will be stored on your site’s database and will be available for editing. For admin our field will be there in backend edit profile page and for frontend customers if you are having woocommerce, buddypress, ultimate member etc installed then it will also be shown on edit account page in frontend. You literally created this ticket yesterday https://i.vgy.me/p8drr0.jpg and you are saying that you’ve been mailing us from few days. There is another ticket of yours which was created this friday and you’ve mailed us more than 10 times after that withing almost every 2-3 hours and let me tell you that with every additional email on the support ticket from customer’s end the ticket goes back to last in the queue and it increases the time it can take us to reply back, so never bombard us with the emails like this if you want to have a faster support. Lastly, claiming false things on comments section like “last few days” when its just even a day does not excite us at all as something like this never happens. Even fortune 500 companies dont reply in 2-3 hours but we still try to do that and try to be as much helpful to the customers.
NOTE: I am really sorry for my rude tone but sometimes we also do lose our cool when we see such a rude and false behaviour from a customers, afterall we are humans aswell.
Hi; does this plugin work for any Wordpress theme and can redirect normal login pages to OTP sign in/up? I ask this because I heard that only works for Woocommerce but cannot redirect normal login pages that use email and password to mobile login. Is this true? Thanks

Hello I have a big problem with firebase TOO_SHORT ERROR
I check your answer here: too_long & too_short error is generated by Firebase and it only shows up when the number is incorrect.
But for me the number is correct the Congolese number has 9 digits but firebase ask me 10 digits so I can’t use the software help me very quickly please. Don’t talk to me to create a ticket I have one response per 4 days please

Hello, If I understand this plugin correctly, it allows users to register using their WhatsApp number and the OTP will be sent to them via WhatsApp if the WhatsApp number is a registered business correct? I want a way to maintain the customers number from my WhatsApp for future communication. This will be good from initial Registration.
Hi there, This allows registration with both SMS and WhatsApp but if you just want to have WhatsApp then you can even disable SMS OTP. Btw for whatsapp you need to have WhatsApp Business API access and there is no need for other person to have WhatsApp Business, they can even be running WhatsApp personal.

Hello, It’s been 6 days since I reported 2 plugin issues and yet I haven’t gotten a response, I’ve followed up 2 days ago and still nothing. It’s a great plugin and I love i but there are some bugs that need to be fixed. You guys used to respond in 2 days and it was okay but I don’t know what happened recently that made you stop responding even when I followed up to my ticket. Appreciate your support guys because I’m currently unable to go live with the website without fixing those issues and I don’t wanna lose more time.

It’s a conversation that started on Sep, 12 and it has no ticket number. Here is the subject of that conversation “Re: [UnitedOver] Re: Re: [UnitedOver] Re: Custom Development Work” And yes indeed I didn’t get a response for six days now and makes me mad because I’ve been waiting to get a response in the last 6 days to fix those 2 issue/bugs I’m currently having with the plugin.

Hi there, I checked your tickets. Actually you mailed on those tickets multiple times and with every response you add to a ticket it gets pushed back to the last position in our queue this is not just with our systems but this is generally how email ticketing system works. So I request you to not send multiple emails until you really have some information to end otherwise its just gonna increase the response time. For now, I’ve asked my team to take at those on priority basis, so you’ll be getting a reply shortly.
I’ve only sent one follow up email for each ticket and that was 2 days ago, and the reason was obvious, it’s because I didn’t get a response for any of the 2 tickets in 4 days so I wanted to know what’s going on and why I’m not getting response.
Hello. I need your help I have submitted a support ticket (701049) the plugin is not working as expected and cant find out whats wrong. Two days waiting for support and the response was to turn deactivate all the other plugins ( what I did and still the error is happening) and that captcha is not loading with a 500 error. Have done a full site inspect and cant seem to know why this file is not loading.
This is whats going on :
1. The user signup to the site 2. The OTP verification gets sent to the user mobile 3. The user inputs the code and receives a message that says Error 4. The users requests for another code and inputs into the page then it gets another error. The email already exists – The phone number already exists 5. The user recibe the welcome SMS configured by your other plugin WPNotif 6. The user is present on the users sections of the site and the user can log in.
This is driving my users crazy, as they don’t understand why when they register they can access the site and its telling them their info is already there when they are signing up for the first time.
I have updated the plugin to the latest version and my wordpress version as well.
Please help with this as your plugin is the main component of the site as the users need to register.

I have to differ in this statement as the core funcionality of your plugin is the ability to use OTP and its not working as expected. I have contacted the hosting company and they are telling they dont block connection to google servers , have as well change the project to AWS and the error preventing registration is still there.
The error about blocking google servers that support send me its not present in any of my tests.
My question to you is :
If this is the first time you encounter this type of problem , would it not be worthwhile investigating what’s going on with the plugin ?
You say its not an issue about the plugin but it really is, as its the core functionality that you offer and its not working as advertised.

Hi there, there is nothing wrong with the plugin other 3000 customers are also using the same thing. Secondly, we even provided you with the proof, check this out https://i.vgy.me/fd2l0x.jpg, firebase service responded with 503 error on your website which clearly means that there is some connection issue between your website and firebase and this has nothing to do with our plugin. If you are still not sure about it, I would request you to please create a fresh installation on wpsandbox.org or https://www.wp-sandbox.com/create-demo/ for testing purpose and check it.
