Edit a video from “admin > videos” page and there will be “captions” option at the bottom.
It will only appear for “direct” and “adaptive stream” video types.

TWO QUESTIONS
Q1: How to assign a specific user permission to edit a specific title?
Now I have added all movies, and when a director registers to the website, I want to give him permission to edit his own titles.
The same concept for any crew member or actor to edit their own pages, or at least a possibility to link their page to their new registered account so they can use it and update it.
Q2: Some details are not being displayed in the frontend.
features like movie language for example. or production countries are not being displayed inside any title.

Another thing, related to videos, the website doesn’t play YouTube links neither the pop up function is working.
I am wondering when we shall have an update? and will the php theme have the auto update function or I have to download and install the update manually every time?

1. Currently you can only give users permission to edit all titles.
2. This will be improved with one of the future updates.
Regarding youtube, make sure you are entering “embed” link to video, regular youtube url will not work.
Currently you will need to update manually.

Hi, I saw the messages related to embedding google drive, does the site already have the api configuration to receive direct public urls? as I have read that over 100MB Google will display a warning that api is needed to ignore it. Seems like the mysql version on your server is not supported. You might be able to change it via cpanel, otherwise you’d need to contact hosting support regarding this.
I have my movies in an External Hard Disk (Over 100GB). Can’t I just link the video directly during the upload or do they have to be uploaded into the server folder again. I’m using it locally in Apache by the way. and was planning to organize my movies with custom poster and all of that. Thank you

You can enter url to a video as well, you don’t need to re-upload it again.
It doesn’t accept any url beside the ones inside the Root directory. For Example I want to use it as like “C:\Users\username\Desktop\foldername\movie.mp4” But it says 404 errpr. But If I do ”\storage\title-videos\movie.mp4” it works.
You need to use a url “http://” or “https://”, local path will not work for video.
I did not find the option that we can activate and the user can download the videos on the demo website that you provided. Please advise from which section and how we can activate so that users can download videos.
