Hello. This is by far the bets lightbox plugin I’ve seen, thanks for updating it.
On my website, the plugin is opening the images with the same resolution they are set though (medium, large, etc), not their full resolution. Is this normal? Do you know if there are any settings to adjust this and how to fix the issue?

Image resolution used in the lightbox will depend of the grid plugin you are using with. If the grid plugin uses a certain resolution, ModuloBox will open this image resolution.

Thank you for the prompt reply! I am using it for regular images linked to their media files. Lightbox plugins usually force them to open in full res but for some reason Modulobox doesn’t:/
No, lightbox plugins only open the image available in the document. And, if this image does not have the fullsize somewhere in the document it is technically not possible to open the full size.

Hmmm… I’m not sure we are talking about the same thing :/ If there is an image which is set to size Small on the page and is linked to its media file, then lightbox plugins load the image in full size upon click. I believe ModuloBox was doing the same before.
However, now when I have set the size of an image to be Small (because the image is in a small container), then when I click it, it pops up once again as a tiny image.
Hi. I want to display the Title field as the slideshow caption and I want to include the Alt text for my image as well. However, if I add the Alt to my image, that is displayed as the caption. How do I force the caption to be pulled from the Title field?
Also, I am adding HTML tags into the Title field to style the caption. Is there a better way to do that?

If you are talking about the lightbox, it can only display the title or alt attribute from the image.

ModuloBox is a lightbox plugin (the popup that opens on click). It is not a gallery plugin. So, there isn’t any gallery feature with ModuloBox.

I am trying to create a gallery of mixed content by code. How can I create a gallery that has mixed content? The default Wordpress gallery and “do_shortcode(‘[gallery ids=...]’)” does not allow mixed content.
I can get the lightbox to work on single images and to replace the WordPress gallery (images or videos, not both), so basic functionality works.

Before I buy – looking for right Lightbox plugin. I have several series of art works listed on a page – each with one photo and a paragraph description and each series has its one button saying (click to view gallery). I want a slider type gallery with images that can be panned or zoomed or transitioned … to open as a pop-up lightbox for any of those button relative to that series of artworks. Can ModuloBox do that – launch form a button link? Is this the right plugin for that?

Thank you. I bought a license for ModuloBox to try it. I installed the plugin and activated it – I went to register ModuloBox, created a personal token and copied the key – I pasted the key next to the REGISTER MODULOBOX button where it says “Enter your Envato Personal Token” and got a message that my personal token was not valid. I did this twice (picked up two different Key/Token strings and tried pasting each into the register space multiple times and always get the same message that the tokens are invalid. How can I register – how do I get access to help if I can’t register?

I was going to submit a ticket but it seems your support system is deprived.
I am going through some problem. Whenever I try to close the image by dragging in my phone, the image is dragged down but does not disappear. The image also does not disappear when I press X button and close the lightbox. It just stays on the screen blocking the content behind. Can’t make it go away without refreshing the screen. It works fine on laptop but this happens on the phone. I’ve tested both on chrome and safari but it happens on both browsers. Could you look into it? Thanks

Hi, I am really struggling to find a lightbox plugin compatible with Safari. I need a lightbox that opens both self hosted audio and video that correctly sets the content type. In Safari, we have had problems with audio not playing or being supported, audio being detected as video/mp4 or videos being detected as audio. When the videos have been embedded in an iframe, we have also had issues with overriding shadow dom css.
Please could you confirm if your plugin is compatible with Safari and supports self hosted audio/video outside of an iframe?

ModuloBox supports image, video, HTML and iframe. It does not support audio player natively (since there is nothing to display when listening a song…). So, to add audio player it requires some customization by HTML or iframe. An iframe is another window (website) in a page. So, you can’t access to it like this in order to set CSS on it. And browser compatiblity will only depend of your custom code. Otherwise, ModuloBox is compatible with all browsers as you can see on our demo: https://theme-one.com/modulobox/

The zoom is working pretty fine. For information this iframe example use the Google Doc PDF viewer. So, you should contact Google team for any issue.

I use moduloBox as a lightbox that works on images displayed using envira gallery. I’ve just resized images throughout my site using the Imsanity plugin, and it seems moduloBox is now having issues displaying images. Has this issue been experienced before? Any ideas on how to rectify?
The error it gives is ‘Sorry, an error occured while loading the content…’

Hi, I just purchased this and I can’t figure out the most basic thing, how to display a gallery. The documentation doesn’t seem to explain this, it just says it uses the WP gallery functionality or something to that effect. I tried making a WP gallery and added an image (with video URL inserted) from media library. It inserted the WP shortcode for the gallery. All I see is the image and it links to the original image, not the video nor does it connect to to modulobox. Is there any documentation on basics here???
Nevermind, seems to work now. It would be good to put a mention (or link to something) about adding basic WP gallery.
