Hi there! I’m very interested in your plugin. I have multiple hotels in the same location but they all have different seasons. Is it possible to set up seasons where some of the dates may overlap somewhat. For example Hotel 1 Off peak season = 09-01-20 to 12-31-20 Hotel 2 Off peak season= 09-18-20 to 10-08-20

Yes, it is possible to create rates for different accommodation types with different seasons, however, you will need to make sure to configure rates for each accommodation type by adding prices for all the available seasons within a single rate, not to create a separate rate per an accommodation type for each season

i.e. I would have hotel 1, 2 and 3 and have a page for each hotel on same website. On hotel 1 page only hotel 1 units and availability would display.
You may add Hotels as categories or custom attributes and tie accommodation types to proper hotel (category/attribute’s term). From what I read from the previous comments, the receptionist does not have front-end access to the plugin. So my question is how do I sync the the real number of available rooms that are reserved by phone or other methods, with the available rooms from the plugin so I can avoid double/overlapping reservations for the same room/same period of time.
Hello there! You may add bookings manually from the WordPress back-end, since starting from v. 3.8.0 such feature is available in the plugin. This means that you will need to allow an access to the back-end to your receptionist, so bookings are added manually if needed.

Hello, yes, the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin can share availability with any platform that supports the ical system. Major booking platforms like Airbnb, TripAdvisor, HomeAway and so on support ical. You may need to contact the platforms that you are interested in to make sure that the ical feature is available in your accounts.
Our plugin downloads calendars from the connected platforms and updates the availability on your website once in 15 minutes automatically.

With the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin, you can vary prices depending on different dates (for this, you would need to create seasons and then seasonal prices) and also vary prices depending on a number of guests and booked nights.

“Half board” and “all inclusive” can be added as different rates for the same accommodation type. In this way, a guest will be able to select the desired rate at the Checkout page.

hi, I have a few questions:
1) does this have open API or Webhook for external integration? If not, do you have any plans to add these in the near future? I am planning to do an android app to provide my staff/receptionist an easy access to bookings and add their own walk-in customer bookings that can be updated to your system.

1. At the moment there is not available API for the developers though plugin offers many filters and actions in order to extended the functionality. As for access to Bookings so we have not enabled REST API for this post type yet.
2. Yes, you may feel free to override/extend the functionality of booking plugin after you purchase it.
3. There are used Accommodation types and you can tie unlimited amount of accommodations (units) to each accommodation type. The gust can select amount of accommodations (units) while making a reservation but can not select specific accommodation (unit). 4. No, there is no front-end access for receptionist. It is possible to add custom user roles with custom access to back-end section using third-party plugins.
5. The plugin does not require authorization to make a reservation so there are no accounts of guest profiles yet.

If iCal is supported by Cloudbeds channel manager, then it should be compatible with Hotel Booking. You may need to contact Cloudbeds directly to find that out.

When a user is in the Accommodation Page, chooses a checkin and checkout date and number of guests, does it always have to go to a Search Results page?
As a user, it’s a bit confusing to me that you automatically suggested a different accommodation from a previous Accommodation type that I was looking at. Is there a way to directly book that accommodation type I’m looking at without going to a search results (and suggestions) page? I’m just worried that there might be confusion with other customers.

In order to check availability of current accommodation type only you should navigate to Accommodation > Settings and enable option called Skip Search Results.

Hi, We did not have a chance to test Hotel Booking plugin with Houzez theme though if it is styles for third-party booking plugin then you should expect that layouts and styles will differ from original.
However, speaking about functionality so the Hotel Booking plugin is compatible with all WordPress themes.

I want to buy your plugin. I like almost everything I saw and tested. Except one thing: The inline checkout card details. I think the manner you put all those fields in one-page-checkout is simple and clean, but to insert your card info in the same page is not trustful. I am convinced that all this is secured. But most than half of our customers won’t trust that.
So, it is possible to have a pop-up or a new checkout page after you complete all the details and select Stripe Payment? I want the default Stripe checkout page.
And one more question: why ZIP code is needed in a Visa Card (Stripe)? I am in Europe, this is not a requirement. And please add support for ApplePay and GooglePay. We live in 2020 in the middle of pandemic

Ok, I asked about Apples, you tell me about Oranges. Glad you updated Stripe requirements. But Stripe is known for their specific checkout page. People are familiar with that. You choose to do it inline, is good too, but for many customers this is not trustful. Why you are not offering that checkout page too? Or at least tell me if there is any possibility to obtain that. I see you implement kind of this page for 2Checkout pay gateway.
I said I know that Stripe integration is secured. But it is not about me, it is about my customers. How do I explain to my customers that I don’t use a basic phishing form to get their sensitive data? And that form field is for real?

MotoPress Hotel Booking provides booking and payment functionality. It has the following in-built payment gateways: Pay on Arrival, Direct Bank Transfer, PayPal, 2Checkout, Braintree, Stripe, Beanstream/Bambora.
You can connect custom ones through WooCommerce, our WooCommerce integration (purchased separately) and a WooCommerce addon for your custom payment gateway.
However, for now, the plugin does not support multi currencies. We have such a request on our feature requests list, we can add your upvote for this feature there and notify you as soon as this gets implemented.

Hello, in the Hotel Booking search availability form, it is required to search by check-in/out dates (you may rename this text). It is also possible to add the Guests number field. Other custom fields (like location) can be added via Attributes, here is the video tutorial.
When a guest makes search, he selects the needed accommodation(s) to book and gets redirected to the Checkout page. After filling this page, the request can be redirected to Admin for (dis)approval or the guest can pay for it right away.
It depends on the Confirmation Mode you cofigure (“By admin manually”/”Confirmation upon payment”).
