Hi again,
Your extension does not allow to link a file from the shared Drive but only from the Drive. However, the Google Suite for Business allows me to have two types of drives: my own and a shared one. I would like to be able to select files from the shared drive. Do you understand?

I am sorry for the trouble. Sometimes the viewers are notorious for the stability issues, especially for the documents that are hosted elsewhere!
When using the Plus version, we recommend two solutions for stability.- Use Google Drive to host your files – We have hardly seen any downtime for the documents that are embedded from Google Drive
- Use Box.com – Box.com has its own viewer. It’s super stable and also comes with various privacy settings.
Otherwise, nothing much we can do in this case. Hope you understand.

Hi, I’m testing your plugins in the free version, but you have a problem with the Google API. It often fails and you have to refresh the page several times to finally display the content. Please, if you can correct the problem it would be great and so take the step of the purchase. Annex screenshot. http://prntscr.com/red692
BE CAREFUL, if you think this plugin is a quick fix, it is not! The pro version allows you to connect with Google, many plugins that have this functionality have the Google app built in or a user friendly system for making that connection. This one does not! After installing you will have to take some considerable time to work through the outdated instructions for connecting your paid for plugin to Google apps. You will then (after a long and laborious process) get to a screen that says “This App Isn’t Verified” and won’t be able to use it until it is verified (a process that can take up to 6 months apparently). To change this you will try to find the work around in the supporting documentation, only to find it no longer exists. You will then create an account on the support service, write a request for help and get nothing. Resulting in you posting to the comments board instead! Good Luck!

sorry – we needed it working urgently so changed to a different plugin – i will make a temporary page with your plugin and send over – the display of the pdf doesn’t show when we have multiple pdf files.

The plugin does not come with a native viewer to display documents. We are making use of the document viewer services from Google, and Microsoft for a seamless experience. The main disadvantage of this method is that we do not have control over any features that come by default with the viewer. Even though the plugin comes with a download link management feature (show/hide download link underneath the embedded documents), users will ultimately be able to download the documents using the download button that comes by default with the viewer.
But there is a workaround that will work for you if you can use Box.com to host the files. Box.com comes with its own viewer. It is highly reliable and comes with privacy settings using which you can disable download options, add passwords, etc.
Also, it is not possible to disable copying from the document.

Hi, Pre-sales questions just to make sure I’m buying the right product. 1) I can embed word documents in Dropbox? 2) Will search engine crawl the text inside the word doc? I worry they will only crawl the title and meta of the word doc. I have a bunch of pdf to embed in a website but I worry they will not be truly crawled so I wanted to change the pdf to word doc and embed them. Thanks
