What is the point of this plugin, if you are continiously charging people extra for the features it lacks?
How come this plug-in does not have export? This is a very important feature, and everyone wants to backup their .csv file.

1. I charge people only for those features which are never mentioned in plugin description. I never charge them for plugin support and features which are already a part of plugin.
2. Regarding missing import feature, I have never mentioned in plugin description that it includes terms export feature so that is one’s choice if he can purchase this plugin without export feature or not. Still, I have this point already in my notebook and will surely think more about adding this feature to plugin in future.

And if you check “Change Log” under plugin description, you can see that I continuously keep adding new features and making improvements in existing features based on users feedback. Now a days, I am working on CSV Importer interface to make it more user friendly and non-breakable just because of timeout error.

Are you looking to replace YMM dropdown terms with WooCommerce’s existing categories? It wouldn’t be possible as YMM plugin comes with a new UI for adding those terms.
In case if you are talking about last dropdown which contains categories list, then it will contain categories hierarchy in same dropdown and wouldn’t be possible to divide among three dropdowns without customization in plugin files directly.

Are you sure if you are facing this issue due to my VPF plugin? As I can see in your added error log, this error seems related to “User Activity Log” plugin. Try disabling my plugin and let me know if you still see same error or not.

Similar to a post from Cubaton, we have imports that have universal products. How do we get the import tool to automatically mark those as universal products when doing the import?
Right now, in the automatically generated CSV file, they are marked as UNIVERSAL in the item_make column.

Currently, there is no such way to import universal products to VPF database. You have to do it manually through VPF Settings page. If you have a long list of universal products, then provide your website details and I will try to write a custom script for you which allows you to import Universal Products. I am performing an import and there is no status indication… the screen is a mostly blank WordPress Dashboard page. The tab has a spinning icon, but no percentage, no # of rows imported, etc.
Is that normal? Also, is there a max # of rows it can handle?

1. This plugin doesn’t come with any progress bar, you have to wait for a success message in order to make sure about all the terms have been imported successfully.
2. In case if it stops loading and doesn’t even show any success message, please ask your hosting support to increase the value of max_execution_time and memory_limit as these two server configuration values can be a reason of breaking down the import process.
3. There is no limit of maximum number of rows but better to divide a large CSV file to small chunk files and import independently.
4. Still fails, provide me your website’s FTP and Admin details at wpinstinct@gmail.com along with CSV file so that I can troubleshoot it for you.

Thank you, it did import all 671,293 rows i needed and seems to be properly attributed so i guess it works! 
Went relatively quick compared to importing 35k products (3 hours maybe) compared to 3 days.
So far so good.

Hello, our website recently updated to Woocommerce 4.1 and we were unaware that the VPF was not compatible with 4.1 as it was working for us when we were still on 4.0. Is there going to be compatibility with 4.1 in the future or would we somehow need to revert back to 4.0?

2. Add year ranges in CSV in such format: 2002-2005 and import it. You should give it a try for 2-3 rows first before you import full CSV file.

Now how can I add Make Model year entries individually?
I thought the plugin comes with the entries and we just need to select them.
How can I add a list of Make Model Year that I have through a CSV so that we can then select for each product.

This plugin doesn’t come with pre-ready database of entries as each website owns its own list of entries. You have to ready a CSV file with all those entries in same format as this plugin requires and import it from backend.
You can download a sample CSV file from same page where you find the option to import a new CSV file. Just make sure that you follow the same structure and position for columns in CSV file.

You have two ways to associate products with plugin terms:
1. While importing CSV file, you can add comma separated multiple product SKU’s in each row and VPF Importer will auto associate whole row with matching products.
2. While editing a WooCommerce product in backend, you can manage VPF Terms there too.

I don’t how can do the backup of my database before import csv. But now I go to import the new csv and give me an error, maybe I think that could be the years, but I pick to enable the function:
Enable this option will shorten the long list of VPF (YMM) terms on product details page by showing year in ranges rather than individual row per year eg: 2001-2004But when I upload the new file puta n error and I can’t do it.
