Hi
I need a B2B solution where business customers get auto-approved for a Business role group (which gives them discounted B2B prices).
We do not want to spend time manually approving business customers in this case.
How automatic can this plugin run when giving discounted prices for business customers can does not necessarily have a login / account created in advance?
The site also needs to handle B2C customers while will not get discounted prices.
The best solution would be that if the VAT number is entered under checkout the prices for the items in the cart will change to the discounted ones.
Hi Webkonsulenter, the operation of WooCommerce B2B requires that the admin assign the group to the customer, as there is the possibility of having more than one group and each shop could have its own rules to define the assignment. It has the “Default group” functionality, but if you also have B2C, I would exclude it as a solution. You can without any problem create your customers’ accounts in advance, WordPress / WooCommerce allow it and during creation you can assign the group you prefer. Once the customer belongs to a group, he will automatically see the discounted prices throughout the shop according to the rules defined for his group.
I suggest taking a look at the live demo:
https://demo.woocommerce-b2b.com/wp-admin/to check the functioning of WooCommerce B2B and its features to understand if they can be suitable for your project.
Best regards
May I know how to update the plugin? Should I deactivate it and then delete it and then install the latest update? In this case, will the previous data be deleted too? Thank you.
Hi sanvinna, you can update by replacing your wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-b2b folder with the new one downloaded by your Envato account. If you prefer to automate the process, please take a look to Envato Market plugin. If you uninstall, all WooCommerce B2B data will be deleted, as it happens for every WordPress plugin.
Thanks. What’s the update this time (didn’t see a change log for it)?
Hi sanvinna, some small last-minute fixes have been added
Hi, I have enabled the “Product categories visibility” function, but now the product categories are no longer visible to users who are not logged in. How can I do to allow even non-logged in users to see certain categories?
Hi igianni84, you have sent the same question to our support center and our support team has provided an answer to your ticket
Hi, I have a big problem. In the WooCommerce settings I set the suffix “VAT inc.” to indicate to my customers that prices are inclusive of VAT.
In the B2B plugin I selected the item “Show prices with or without taxes based on the type of customer”, therefore the prices for retailers are excluding VAT … unfortunately, however, the suffix of WooCommerce does not change …
I need to change the price suffix for resellers. How can I do?
Thanks

Very thanks!
Is your plugin compatible with WooCommerce Bookings?
Hi gopavel, WooCommerce is developed using the standards required by WordPress/WooCommerce, so you shouldn’t have any problems with plugins that use the same standards. Obviously, for third-party plugins, we do not have the possibility to test them all and for reasons of maintainability and solidity of the plugin, it is impossible to depend on third-party plugins and follow any changes updates. Each site can use different plugins in different combinations, it is necessary that the coexistence between them is managed by the developer of each site.
It’s the official plugin from Wordpress Org so I guess the answer is yes?
Hi gopavel, consider that plugins on WordPress.org aren’t official. Each developer can create their own plugin and publish it on that platform. In any case, all plugins could be developed differently and act differently, so it is necessary that the coexistence between them is managed by the developer of each site.
Hi does this plugin support: 1) WP Multisite set up 2) social login 3) Multiple users under a single account? Means for example CompanyA is registered an account with me, but CompanyA has about 10 staff. Which means 10 of the staffs have their own user ID under the CompanyA so that they can login differently to make order?
Hi yuenjian, WooCommerce B2B support WP Multisite with no problems. About social login, it isn’t a WooCommerce B2B feature, we don’t know if it can work or not, as the plugins that add it are many and different. If you decide to use the “Moderate registration” option, you may need to make some customizations to adapt the social login. About multiple users under the same account, WooCommerce B2B hasn’t this kind of feature, WordPress requires each user to have their own profile, with a dedicated username and password.
when they register, is it possible to differentiate a Customer from a Supplier with a checkbox or similar?
Hi adriboixet, no, WooCommerce B2B hasn’t this kind of feature, since the plugin offers the possibility of having discounted prices according to the group, it was not considered appropriate for the customer himself to decide his own group
We need them to register as clients and send us documentation to verify that they are professionals and activate them
Good day. Is it possible to get a trial version?
how do i redirect the user after they submit a registration? the filter isn’t working with this plugin. I want to redirect them to a custom page with instructions on next steps.
Hi tammyyyyy, can you please open a support request on: https://support.woocommerce-b2b.com/ providing both a dedicated FTP access and a dedicated WP-ADMIN access to allow our team to investigate? Thanks for collaboration, best regards
Hi there, a few pre-sale questions, please:
1. Is this plugin compatible with Polylang? I know WPML support is advertised, but that doesn’t guarantee the plugin has been successfully tested with Polylang, too.
2. Our store is set up in USD, but uses WOOCS plugin to switch to another currency on front-end, so the prices on category pages, single product pages, cart and checkout are recalculated, and that currency is also used for the payment. Would your plugin work well with the currency switcher?
Do you have an option to set up a temporary test website with both those free plugins installed, so we can test it out before making a purchase? Thank you!
Hi artashesmkr, unfortunately we don’t have the possibility to create ad-hoc demo sites for each request, it would be impossible. Bear in mind that WooCommerce is developed using the standards required by WordPress/WooCommerce, so you shouldn’t have any problems with plugins that use the same standards.
I want to do a product import in order to bulk add prices to each B2B customer group. What are the custom fields that hold the prices for each group?
Hi Romfeo, to bulk import prices you can use WooCommerce import/export tools, as described in the plugin documentation or in the FAQ. For each group you create, you will find two additional fields in the CSV to be imported: Regular price (GROUP_NAME) and Sale price (GROUP_NAME).
Hello,
I have a pre sales question.
I have seen your demo but i havent exactly how the VIES validation works. When someone will register the plugin will check his VAT ID and if not OK will not make him finalize his registration? Also if also his VAT ID is OK when he finalize his registration will also move him to status Verified?
You mention in other comments that the validation is from another 3rd part service. This is a plugin or is happening behind your plugin? Your faq dont explain it clearly.
Thank you.
Hi sectiongraphix, VIES validation is a service provided by European Commission that check if a European VAT number is correct and exists. WooCommerce B2B use VIES API to offer this advantage. If you enable VIES validation option in WooCommerce B2B, when a customer register, if provided VAT number is not validated, registration fail. About “status verified”, if you mean “WooCommerce B2B moderate registration” option, no, customer enabling must be done by the shop manager after checking the suitability of the customer, but of course it can be disabled, it depends on your business strategies.
Thank you for the fast reply. Yes i know what is the VIES system. But on your demo i tried to use a wrong VAT ID even less digits (and with country and no country code) and registration success message was displayed. So if VAT ID is wrong the registration will not proceed and should print error message? Because on the demo is not happening…
Sorry for the many questions i want to buy it but i want to ensure if works OK.
Hi, we make some checks, it seems that WooCommerce Greece country code is GR, but VIES Greece country code is EL, here is the reason for the problem. We will insert a transcoding to avoid the problem already in the next release of the plugin, thanks for reporting.
Correct about that. But why the plugin proceed when i entered a 3 digit VAT ID. This should not be possible as well if validation works… I read your other comments regarding the country code and i entered only the number as well less digits and was successful. Maybe is a general issue over the bridge then?
Right observation, but in reality the VIES control is valid only for the European countries and therefore in order not to “block” other countries, a country code check is carried out to verify if it belongs to those of the European community on which the VIES applies. In your case, by entering Greece, WooCommerce returns GR, which is not present among the VIES verification codes (because it would require EL), therefore it does not recognize it as a country code of the European community and does not apply verification via API: in this way, without verification, also 3 digit VAT is let through
Thank you for all the replies. But for a proper validation when a vat id doesnt have correct syntax it should consider as error. Also if any case is also less digits and doesnt resolve to existing vies system should be also error. Will the above mentioned will cover on next update? Also this is gonna be soon?
Unfortunately, the syntax could be for every country in the world, it would be impossible to be able to cover all the cases and be able to keep them up to date, which is why it was decided to rely on an external service. In any case, for any particular need, WooCommerce has default hooks to allow custom validation of the fields. In the next update, we will insert the transcoding of the country codes, perhaps with a special filter to allow customization. At the moment, I don’t have a certain time frame.
Hello, I’m not understanding if all prices are figured as wholesale prices or just when the b2b2 customer logs in. I mean does the plug in allow final customer (not b2b one) to buy at retail prices? Thanks, Mattia
Yes MattiaGas, when a customer is not logged in, he can view default WooCommerce prices. If customer login (and if is assigned to a group), he can view prices according to price rules set. Please take a look to live demo: https://demo.woocommerce-b2b.com/wp-admin/ to have a test drive and test plugin features.
Do you support rtl
Hi eli1356, WooCommerce B2B hasn’t rtl, but it can be added by custom CSS rules.
Hi, your plugin work still on Genesis Theme?
WooCommerce B2B is developed using and respecting WordPress/WooCommerce standards and hooks and this guarantees high compatibility with the themes. But obviously, it is not possible to know how each theme is developed, but if they respect the same standards there is no problem.
Thank you for your reply.
You’re welcome!
Hi,
I am going to purchase this plugin, may I know please; if I am going to build a website, which is using WooCommerce, WooCommerce membership and WooCommerce subscription plugins. The membership and subscription packages are created as three product (Free, Gold and Platinum) and each product is tied to one single pricing table.
Now, my questions:
1. if I set conditional logic for 3 different type of customers within single WooCommerce registration form, which need to fill out each particular fields due to their role, does this form will change the fields due to their chosen pricing table or it will shows same form to all three kind customer and they need to fill out base on their role? will this form special for each customer or will be with same fields for all of them and just will change while they are choosing their role? 2. How to show each identical price due to their role within registration form? The prices will be shown as conditional logic too?
I will appreciate your support, thank you.
Hello,
Presale question :
I have a product wich has guest price : 7,42€ and Seller price : 1,88€ with a VAT of 20% – Number of decimals : 2 – Prices entered exclusive of tax
The non logged in customer will see 8,90€ and when the seller is logged in he will see : 1,88€
Thank you
Hi dweb, yes, it’s right. Please, check your scenario on live demo to see your needs in action!
Hello
I tested but I think there is a bug when currency options are :
Thousand separator : space Decimal separator : , (comma) Number of decimals : 2
as you see here:
https://ibb.co/0t7fS97 https://ibb.co/ypzfdF4price are rounded
Thank you
Hi dweb, thanks for your reporting, we implemented a fix that will be included in next update. Best regards
Hello When you think the fixed version it will be available ?
I have another question
About : Package and Minimum quantity Is it possible to have 50p at 2.4€ and 100p and more at 2.30€?
Thank you
hi dweb, fix is ready, but I can’t give you a precise date for the next release (it doesn’t just contain that). Regarding the minimum quantities, WooCommerce B2B does not have the quantity discounted functionality.
Hi,
I want that my B2B Page and it’s products and cart pages are all private login only pages. How can I do this?
Thanks
Hello, for a single product I set the “package” to 6 items. But I can still checkout an order for 22 items (instead of 24). Also, I can still choose 7, 8, 9 or any other quantity on the product page. It would be better if I could only choose 6, 12, 18, 24 and so on. Is that possible?
Hi Budgetlover, have you latest WooCommerce B2B version (2.1.5)? Please, send a support request on: https://support.woocommerce-b2b.com/ providing both wp-admin and FTP dedicated access and an example to product to allow our team to investigate
Hi! I am testing your demo and I need to see how it works. The demo desn’t allow to change anything or see its results. There are several kinds of cutomer taxes, so I need to find a way to set the prices for all of them in a easy way. How would this plugin solve that part of the B2B functionality?
Hi wittyar, what did you mean with “The demo desn’t allow to change anything or see its results”? You can enter in backend and modify all you want, every hour demo is reset. However, taxes can be managed by WooCommerce default settings, WooCommerce B2B allow you to display prices with/without taxes according to customer type (guest/assigned to a group).
We have different taxes for different customers, and woocommerce doesn’t allow to make a difference. There are customers with taxes displayed on the detail, and customer without taxes displayed on the detail. I am looking for a plugin that allows me to have those differences.
I’m wittyar, WooCommerce B2B doesn’t allow to have different taxes according to customer
