Hi, a new client of mine is using this plugin on his website.
Plugins haven’t been updated on the website for a while, so I’m testing everything on staging before updating on production.
There’s an issue with this plugin in the staging website: the single product compare table is not showing products from the same category to compare, but it’s always showing the most recent products.
On the production website, the table is filled with other products from the same category and that’s the intended behavior.
How can we fix this? For an example, you can have a look at the compare table in this product:

Our plugin does not create those pages dynamically. A shortcode was used on this page and of course you can do the same and then make SEO optimisations.

Our plugin allows comparison of all product. But it does not limit to products categories.
then this plugin choose products to compare depending on what? if all products at all categories have same attributes.
maybe it choose products depending on similarity of titles ?
It depends on nothing – users can compare any product with any Product.

On the product page under Compare with similar products, the product image displays correctly but I see an invalid image icon above the image and a ‘alt”” ”>’ displayed under the image, for all products. Any ideas? Try disabling all other plugins to see if it disappears. If not, try another theme for testing.
Hi! I deleted old plugins, updated all plugins, cleaned up databases with WP-Optimizer, disabled all other plugins except Redux, Woocommerce and Compare. No change to Compare display errors. With plugins still disabled, changed to several other themes including several Wordpress default themes (2017, 2016, 2015) (I’m using Divi). No change to Compare display errors. Any other ideas? Yes but this is theme related. Your theme needs to support ajax add to cart.
Hello, thanks for getting back to us again. The theme does have AJAX add to cart enabled. The compare table does add to cart without redirecting if the user is arrives via a product page, however… If the user arrives via the store page, the plugin still redirects to the product page when clicking add to cart. Does that make sense and is there a possible work around?
Well then your theme does not support ajax add to cart on category pages. Please contact your Theme developer for this.

I’m not sure I agree though… If you don’t mind taking a look at the link here: http://dales-eaves.cdpweb.co.uk/order-your-samples, you can see that ‘add to cart’ works from the store but not the compare (still work in progress,; you’ll need to toggle the bar that says Standard PPC Colour range). Thank you.
Still this is a theme related issue. Our plugin only support ajax add to cart if your theme does too.

Hi,
The compare bar looks different in each browser (Microsoft Edge, Chrome and Firefox). I am using the settings of the plugin (Compare bar Höhe and Compare Bar Item Höhe) but still it looks different. My expectation that the plugin should the same in all browsers.
In Edge the height is correct but the background is not loading. In Chrome the height is incorrect and the compare button within the bar to show the compare table is hidden. In Firefox background is correct but the heigth does work properly. As this should be managed by the plugin my question to please adjust the code.

Hi I have several products with different characteristics to compare, that is, each product family has a different characteristics, so I cannot assign different characteristics as it shows me the same. Is it possible to show different characteristics by family of products? Thank you
If an attribute is empty for both comparable products, this attribute will not show in the compare table

Please refer to our email conversation, I contacted my web hoster and they replied me “According to our check, the issue lies within the plugin configuration. As we have checked via Chrome console, a plugin sends a request “compare_products_get_all” via https://pricesinn.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php .
I need to get this issue resolved, I am happy to buy support license or latest plugin if this can solve my issue.

Hey! Just wanted to inquire regarding license deactivation and reactivation when re-installing the plugin. Wanted to move do a different server, which means that I have to re-install the plugin. Is there some possibility to deactivate the license on one server and activate it on another one?
