I want to create a home page with background fullscreen video similar to what can be seen here: https://www.australiascoralcoast.com I want it to be muted by default with the option to unmute, and no other controls. Can this be done with this plugin?

Using our plugin, you can place video inside any element on the page using generated shortcode, so you should be able to place video inside the header like on the example.
Video is muted by default if autoplay is set.
Unmute button can be added. We offer unmute button inside our plugin, but you can also use your own button and attach it to the video. Instructions how to add custom button to control video are included in the plugin documentation.

Yes, you can target individual html elements in the page using classnames.
Our plugin creates markup from html and css and each element can be removed or css changed individually.

It doesnt have direct wpbakery integration, but you can add it as shortcode anywhere in the page (to be as a div background or a full body background).
Video is mobile compatible.

You are using backgroud as fixed (Edit player – General – Set fixed background), which ads css z-index:-1 to the div which holds the video. This z-index makes it appear behind everything else in the page.
Depending on what you want to do, you can remove z-index declaration from vb.css file in wp\wp-content\plugins\apvb\source\css:

Long story short, we want to self-host the videos and looking to replace Vimeo player with another HTML player with similar features. If I purchase your video player, can I do the following: 1. resize the player to fit our existing pages, which were created with Vimeo player. We want to remove vimeo (we are self-hosting) and replace with another player. Is this possible with your player? 2. Can i set a thumbnail image before the video plays with your software? 3. If we host video on a baremetal server with ample CPU, Ram, and Bandwidth, do we need to purchase anything in addition to your software to have this work on our server?

1. This plugin does not support Youtube playlist url, but it supports Youtube single videos, and you can list unlimited number of videos in a row, so you can create a video playlist, just iwht adding Youtube video ID’s individually.
Videos can play automatically if muted.
Autoplay is disabled since recent browser changes and requires user interaction with the page before (like a click or keypress) to start playback:
https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2017/09/autoplay-policy-changesTo only way to start playback automatically (without user interaction) is to mute video programatically.
2. Videos can be blocked from stopping by the user.
3. Videos can play continously one after another.
