Currently there is no SDK available which provide multiplayer feature same as Google Play Game Service at free of cost.

Yes. but google has deprecated Multiplayer service so it will not work anymore. We are working on alternate solution and will be ready soon.

Yes, you can’t. Google has deprecated the online multiplayer game SDK so you can’t publish any more game with it.
What about alternatives?
Google has provided alternative but is taking time to achieve the same kind of functionality. Also we need to change the code and logic for multiplayer game completely.
Our project will be dead if you don’t update. Also getting continuous notice from console increases risk of getting account disabled

We need to apply alternative solution like firebase and there is no easy way to achieve same functionality so we could not tell the exact date or month as of now.
