I just bought templatera. Nice pluging, but I just encounter that templatera doesn;t support dinamic content. or IDK/
What do I mean, if I use in templatera the single image, calling the post image, it doesn’t appear.

Hello, The issue is because template is rendered as a post type. When it is added via templatera, the featured image refers to the image of template and hence it is not displayed. Unfortunately, it cannot render dynamic content.

Hi, i created a template with Templatera and inserted the template on several pages but when i edit the original template it doesn’t update globally on my pages. Does Templatera support global updates?
Hello, Please make sure that you have added the template onto pages using: Add element -> Templatera element. This will lock the template content and hence will reflect any changes made to the original template.

Why isn’t there an auto-update function? We just noticed we are 4 updates behind. Very disappointing that a premium plugin does not have a simple version check code and or the function to update directly.

This plug-in doesn’t seem to work for me and the documentation is pretty sketchy. I created a template base header and then created 2 pages with the same header. Then I updated the header by changing an image to align-center instead of align-left. Then I pressed “update” and checked the 2 pages. Neither of the headers had updated with the new image alignment. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong please?
Hello, For the template changes to be reflected onto the pages, please make sure that you add the template onto a page using: add element -> all elements -> templatera element.

Hi, I have been using your plugin for just a little over a month now. I have created templates and have been adding them manually into posts. However, when I use the ‘Add Element’ function and select the ‘Templatera’ element for it automatically update all posts with the template, it only pulls through the Template’s ID functions, like the title etc. I need to actually pull through the Post title ID, post customer fields and Post Featured Image. How do I do this please using your plugin?
Hello, The templates are rendered as post type due to which any call to post title, post custom field, etc. is referenced with template post type. To output the data related to the post, the template should be added via add template option.

Hello, a pre-sales question.
We are using VC in our production site. However, we plan to switch to a new theme and we are testing this in our staging environment. The new theme layout seems to work fine but page formatting and layout is bit different from our production environment. In production, single pages were built using VC-template (selected for page template).
We want to import the VC page layout template from a page in production to our staging environment so that we can select the VC-template from the page in our staging environment. Is this possible with this plugin? Are the documents available in your plugin-site explaining the steps to do this?

Hello, You can save the page layout as a template and then export it from one website to import it onto another using templatera add-on.

I just wanted to report a small bug. In vc_template_manager.php line 1251 you have the following:
wp_enqueue_script( 'wpb_templatera-grid-id-param-js', $this->assetUrl( 'js/templatera-grid-id-param.js' ), array( 'wpb_js_composer_js_listeners' ), WPB_VC_REQUIRED_VERSION, true );
However “wpb_js_composer_js_listeners” is not defined anywhere neither in Templatera or the WPBakery code plugin so the script never actually gets loaded and thus the code isn’t doing anythiing.
I know this has been an issue for over 9 months now. Hopefully it can be addressed soon.

Hello, The background and design options are specific to the page where theya re added. In this case, you can add an extra CSS class to the row and then add the required background via custom CSS code.

It was asked earlier before purchased that can we add background image/color/padding.. to global elements but you didn’t told this before that it will be done manually through CSS. Now this plugin is useless for me.

Hello, The WPBakery Page Builder can only work within content area of the page while header and footer is controlled by the theme. Due to this, the templatera template cannot be added in footer area.

Hello, Yes, you can do so under WPBakery Page Builder -> General Settings. These templates will be applied for any new post that you create in that particular post type.

It seems that the “Save as Template” functionality in the Row Settings has stopped working on sites on Wordpress 5.3 – I switched themes and tried 3 different ones including WP’s own 2020 and 2019 and nothing.

Hi there,
I am planning to purchase a WP theme that comes with WP Bakery.
They have a couple of demo packs that I like a lot. I would much want to be able to use section blocks from both demos at the same time. In other words, I want to be able to: 1) First load one demo and save certain section blocks in/ with Templatera 2) Switch to the other demo and load the saved blocks from the other demo, which were saved earlier on in Templatera?
I am not sure where the blocks are saved and if they would are preserved when switching to another demo.
I hope that Templatera works for this purpose – it would make my design much, much faster…

Hello, Yes, you can save a certain layout as a template and then use it onto required pages at your end. As long as theme demos does not disable the elements/functionality, the saved template will render fine.

Hi Support, can this plugin be use for Custom Post types? i’ve purchased the plugin. im using Salient theme now. I need to create a global template (which can be done using templatera), but at the same time, need to have specific field / parameter within that pages that have unique data. For example, 1 have 50 branches pages – which i’ve created the design using templatera & salient. Then inside each branch page, would need to list the branch “manager name”, and we need to set diff “manager name” for diff branch.
Can this be done, and if yes how to do it?
Hello, Using templatera, you can add any content which will remain same on any post, page and custom post type. The functionality is not restricted based on post types. However, if you want to change any content for a specific post, then unfortunately, it is not possible using it and in this case, you can use the standard template feature which can be accessed under add template option.
