Hello, this item is not supported and I’ve turned the support off long time ago, so when someone buys this he sees that this is not a supported item – I don’t see how that makes me a liar. At least that’s what I expected, when I removed support. To me it’s fair – product is sold as is, if you like it – use it, if you don’t – don’t buy it. If you bought it by mistake – just request a refund, I always return money, no questions asked. The reason why this is sold is that it still works – at least our demo examples work without issues. It’s a simple accordion shortcode with some design presets – I don’t think it requires reqular updates of any sort.

In any case, I don’t charge for support of this product. If this is confusing or frustrating for the buyers – it’s easier for me to remove this product. I’m sorry, but the sales are 0-1 per month, which after the Envato fees and taxes amounts to around $10 per month, I believe. I seriously doubt this product even repaid the hours I’ve put in developing it initially and hosting space it uses – and it’s been more than 3 years. I understand your frustration, but this is how things are, unfortunately. If you think I’ve “stolen” your money by selling this tiny WordPress plugin – feel free to submit a refund request and you’ll get all your money back.

Yes, that would be interesting. Because there is already a separate page for each entry.

I’ll add this as feature request, but not sure when we can develop this, we’re currently very busy with ticketing system for MinervaKB and will be working on it for a couple more months, then we’ll see.

Indeed, it’s true that we do not add features to this plugin. The reason for this is simple – it has very low sales.

Initially it was an experiment – we had a FAQ module in KB plugin and people liked it, some customers asked if they could buy FAQ only. So I’ve made an extended version of that FAQ module and released it as Candy FAQ.

Currently it’s been on sale for 1 year and a half and the average monthly income I get from it is around $20 per month, which is less than my hourly rate. And I had to provide support until I turned support off for this item, which also takes time. This simply makes it impossible to continue development of this product, there’s not much I can do in half an hour per month of development time.

Also, there’s no indication of interest in this plugin, like questions, increase in page views, etc. I think that people mostly use page builders and accordions to build simple FAQ pages and use KB for more complex cases, that’s the best explanation I have. I’ve monitored other FAQ plugins on the market for some time and they didn’t not look promising in terms of sales as well, especially now with Envato sales decreasing for many authors.

So, to summarize, it’s indeed sad that I cannot afford to develop this product right now, it’s a nice FAQ module, so I’ll just keep it on sale as is, maybe some people will find it helpful. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hello, this plugin creates only one FAQ post type, but you can create two top-level categories and show different categories at different places.

I don’t think this has dedicated section in the docs, but basically when you add a FAQ question you can select a category for it. Categories are hierarchical, which means you should be able to create category First FAQ and category Second FAQ. Then you can create sub-categories if you need to and set either of these two as parent category. Then, when displaying FAQ on a page you can select categories to display – that’s where you can choose either First or Second category.

As part of this question, I can add one more point. I have the ability to hide this image on the recording page,but save it in the preview. When editing a response, this condition is not feasible. The picture is displayed in the preview and on the page.

Hello, I’m not sure about these settings, this is either from theme or from some other plugin, because it’s not default WordPress metabox, as far as I can tell. If this plugin/theme supports adding these settings for custom post types, you should add them for faq post type. Or, perhaps they are hidden in Screen Options, at the top of the page.

Hello, there is no such feature at the moment. I think this can be done with custom JavaScript, but we don’t do customizations, unfortunately. You probably need to find some freelancer.
