Hi, this is a prebuy question. I would like to buy this plugin for a project contest, and this plugin seems to have all the features I need, but I see that the last update was in 2018. Hi Zbynek, We have problems with the recipe plugin with the voting system and IP block. We have enabled users to vote once a day. But many users are currently unable to do this. They manage to do this once every two or three days. It has worked before. We have already deactivated the cache but it does not fix the problem. The most complaints we get are from very active users in the contest. What can we do? Best regards, Joey

Hi, This plugin looks great – however I see that there is a setting to only allow registered users to vote; but is there also a setting to make sure that only registered users can Submit a recipe? Is there a demo of the user login?
Also, can the image upload be set that if the user doesn’t upload an image, a default placeholder image will be displayed?

Hello. Well, there is no option to require registration now but it will be in the next version. Well no. It makes sense, but nobody ever asks me for such a feature so I never thought about that. I will keep in my mind.
CAn’t post instagram links. No matter what format I input I get told that the format is not correct. there is no hint as to what is missing or what the standard is though and not a word about it in documentation. So not exactly great UX.
Hello. There is no option to post instagram links. So of course there is no word in documentation about that. The plugin is based on direct photo upload to WordPress.
I mean the social sharing fields you have included. For Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The instagram field won’t accept any input. It’s part of the “Personal details” in the recipie entry form.

Just installed it. This is perfect. Also, my comment stands. If you called this “Any post and image contest” you would get a much bigger audience. There is nothing else like this on the market and it’s got much broader use than recipes.

Hi Guys – can the fields be customised? Basically, Im looking for a contest plugin that allows someone to submit their organisation / photo and story, then they get voted on by the public, That simple. Can this do that with some editing?

Awesome, you would do a good job to market this as for “any custom post type” contest including recipies, stories, company contests etc, then you will get a much bigger audience! I am buying it
You have stated ‘Full Integration with BuddyPress’. What does this mean? I hope you can set up the system to also act as a recipe repository (ie not just a competition plugin), well laid out, like other major recipes plugins for wordpress (some are really beautiful), integrating with Buddypress so each Buddypress member can publish recipes from the front end, and if there are alterations made to the recipes, it will be shown in the activity wall.
It is integrated so BuddyPress users can use plugin without new registration and also all actions can be seen on their timeline
I am hoping this works with Peepso, now or soon… any chance?

When I am in a contest/author item, in the pictures – to see them, it looks like the whole page changes, not just the picures. Is that right? If, Yes… is it possible that only the photos move? Thank you
