I’m getting this error on the first day of having my site live —— Error code: 403 | Error message: Daily Limit Exceeded. The quota will be reset at midnight Pacific Time (PT). You may monitor your quota usage and adjust limits in the API Console: | Reason: dailyLimitExceeded —-—— and youtube is not adding more quota, is there a workaround?

Here are the latest updates on the Youtube Data API V3 quota:
Currently, Google only allows the use of 10,000 units a day, this policy takes effect from early 2019:
Version 3 of the YouTube Data API has concrete quota numbers listed in the Google API Console where you register for your API Key. You can use 10,000 units per day. Projects that had enabled the YouTube Data API before April 20, 2016, have a default quota of 50M/day.

A simple read operation that only retrieves the ID of each returned resource has a cost of approximately 1 unit.
A write operation has a cost of approximately 50 units.
A video upload has a cost of approximately 1600 units.
If you hit the limits, Google will stop returning results until your quota is reset. You can apply for more than 1M requests per day, but you will have to pay for those extra requests.

UPDATE: Increased the quota numbers to reflect current limits on December 10, 2013.
UPDATE: Decreased the quota numbers from 50M to 1M per day to reflect current limits on May 13, 2016.
UPDATE: Decreased the quota numbers from 1M to 10K per day as of January 11, 2019.
If you want Google to increase your quota, you need to contact them through this form:
https://support.google.com/youtube/contact/yt_api_form?hl=enIf not, you need to wait 24 hours to continue using their API.
Or create a new Google account, and create a new key to temporarily replace the key in use.

Hey guys, I’ve used this plugin for my site with Page Builder, but the new theme we’re switching to won’t be using Page Builder. Can I still use this for my video gallery on the new site, or does it only work with Page Builder? If so, is there a shortcode to use?

Basically, it depends on the return data of Youtube API Data V3 (sorted by upload order).
The items will be displayed one by one according to the returned list.
If in a group you use multiple data sources from different channels or playlists. The arrangement becomes alternating on each page for each specific data source.

This is a slider in conjunction with Ajax technology ( & Json). Data will be downloaded directly after each click on the arrow. Therefore, it is not possible to determine the specific number of items to assign dots based on the total number of items on the slider.

There is a problem with Font Awesome icons under UpSolution Impreza Theme. This one is forcing to use for instance “fab fa-facebook” and your script want to use “fa fa-facebook”. So the icon isn’t displaying. So I have changed your script in “wp-content\plugins\youtube-gallery-vc\assets\front-end\youtube-gallery.js” and it’s working.
Do you plan to update for this problem ?

This message is not related to whether the video is playing or not. It is only a notification when the iframe tag has no origin attribute. Usually this attribute is not important, youtube’s API gives this report so that developers know they are watching videos from another website, non-YouTube website.
I find that you are also using a slider at the top of the homepage. And it uses videos from Youtube. It also seems to use the API from Youtube, and some events have been called out before our library is processed. I think this is the cause. Try replacing it with an image or a self-hosted video.
