Instead of the controls being dependent on what side you click on, couldn’t it be just when clicked/touched that the character jumps? Is there anything later in the game, that is requiring it to be controlled by a per-side basis? If not, it would be cool if it was just a single click anywhere in the game / a mobile tap anywhere on the screen that made the character jump.

Yes, I worked on another version that controls the character only with a touch on the screen, if it is on the left when it is touched it goes to the right, so it repeats to the same diantes the sides.
