Hello, Yes, it support global template editing. You can edit a template and have it’s changes reflected onto the pages where it is added.

But how about old pages, i.e is it possible to apply a template bulk for all articles, post_type or pages, or do I need to do it one by one?
Hello, It can be applied for existing pages as well by editing them and then adding the template via templatera element. Unfortunately, the builk edit is not supported.

I’m not sure if I can quite do what I after with this. I’m hoping to be able to have reusable parts of my page with content in them, then if I change the template for that part the content remains. For example, I have a row specification with particular design elements and responsive behaviour. This particular one is for a map.
I would love to be able to update the template, eg. change the responsive size constrains; but have all of the maps remain on their respective posts. All the demos seem to have static content that is part of the template along with the formatting.
Is this something I can achieve with Templatera ?
Hello, You can create a template and add it via template element. This will reflect any changes that you make to the original template onto the pages where it is added. However, as the template content will be locked on the page where it is added, it will not be possible to edit it on respective pages.

Hi guys, We used your plugin for another website and want to use it again, but the site uses WPML, so we wanted to test it out (we just copied the used a copy from the first site we built, sorry if this is against policy, but we need to make sure everything works before we build)... we found that your templates are translatable, however they get a new post id… example:
english = [templatera id=”108”]
russian = [templatera id=”456”]
So when we load change languages the template areas are blank because the wrong shortcode is being used…
Do you know if there is a way to solve this without manually editing echa shortcode? If so, we will gladly purchase a new licence for this job, it is very important this works for us as the site will become huge once we are done.

Curious where is the video showing how the plugin works? on the plugin preview page it says ‘watch video’ but there is no video link when clicked (you might want to add that) . I’d never used the plugin originally and now want to, thanks!

You need to create some documentation for this plugin!! From what I can see this is a “block of rows” template , not a proper template plugin . So I can create a template, block of consecutive rows., then when I add it to the post, I can add content above and below the entire block. There is no way to make a row within the template editable , or a column in the template editable. Is this right?

yes it is locked as a block of consecutive rows. It is not possible to allow the editing of a specific row or column of the template. This isn’t really a “template” plugin, its more of a “global consecutive rows” plugin.

Hello, I was using a cloned version of my site locally, when I exported the templates to put on my remote site it changed the number of all the ID’s, creating a lot of confusion.
Could you add the feature of using a slug to insert the template?

All background image in “inner row settings” are not displayed, why? it is a bug. For example e couple of weeks ago it worked well. thanks
For a temporary solution, in the page above the templatera block i entered direct the template with a “hidden” class. I not understand why this works, but it is only trick not a solutions. Can you help me? thanks

Like others, my paddings, margins, and background images are being ignored by Templatera. Broken plugin. I appreciate you say you’re working on a fix, but can you give a concrete release date? Seems to have been a problem for a while judging by the comments on here. Cheers

Hello, I just purchased the plugin and setup a template page by copy and pasting all the code from one page to another. When I displayed the template it worked but some images arent showing up and a few features are broken. Is there a reason for that?

I have the same issue as @jeremynivison – Using the7 theme, updated to the latest WPBakery and now all my padding and margins are removed from my rows! Totally wrecked my site.
Also – I can’t share a link because I have had to revert to a backup as it messed my whole site.

ps: Also WPBakery is currently blocking any sort of CSS output if is_singular() returns false which breaks not only Templatera when you insert templates for example in a sidebar which is used on archives as well as 3rd party plugins that allow inserting WPBakery content on archives. Would be nice to remove that extra check – https://cl.ly/823f45 – since the addShortcodesCustomCss method allows you to define the ID to pull CSS from via the $id argument then you should allow this method to run at all times and only return if there is no $id defined. This would be my proposed tweak: https://cl.ly/8530c6

I updated WP Bakery and suddenly all of the design options in templatera quit working. The padding, margins, and borders no longer have any affect. It’s ruined the layout of my entire site. Is this something you are already aware of?
