hi, just installed the plugin but it doesn’t seem to be working. If a click the icon from the text editor I just get a dark screen as if a pop up is loading but nothing appears.
From the widget area I can enter all the settings but nothing appears on the front end.

Please try default WordPress classic editor, or use widget shortcode instead found in the widget panel.
You will need to have a sidebar in your theme to use a widget.

Greetings. I’m sorry to bug you but I’m having a little difficulty with the script. I’m trying to add a screen pop/push notification for when the timer expires. Does your script have a way to do this? I’m guessing it is part of the callback portion but I’m not sure how to proceed.

Hello. Are you looking for shortcode or PHP function ? If you need a PHP function, please try to use a widget, it provides a PHP function you can use in your template, also a shortcode to place it anywhere in your rendered content.
alert(‘Test Finished’) is what I’m trying to write in. Have it create a popup. I use that though and it happens before the timer is finished.

If you are using WordPress editor, you will find the countdown icon in the editor toolbar. OR you can use a widget, each widget has a widget shortcode.
I just want a Minute count down example 10 minutes without any dates is that possible?
It is a relative option, for example +20 will start the counter from 20 second to 0 for every visit.

I’m sorry, my English isn’t very high. The problem I have is that the shortcode of your plugin is the same as one that includes the jevelin theme. My question is, if there is any way to change the shortcode of your plugin for another, if you can tell me that part of the source code of the plugin would have to modify.
If you want to rename the shortcode name, try to open the file countdown.php around line 36:
Replace
add_shortcode( 'countdown', array( $this, 'shortcode' ) );
to
add_shortcode( 'my_countdown', array( $this, 'shortcode' ) );
or any shortcode name you like.

I purchased this plugin in order to have a recurring countdown to a weekly event.
Are there any videos or documentation on how to set it up?
When I add it to a page, it only shows the Title field and nothing else.
I am using Elementor Page Builder, so maybe there is a conflict?

Hello. Unfortunately this plugin does not do recurring countdown. It just counting down or up from given date time.
