Your Plugin is very stable and working well. I have found some “bugs” when using google translate option and i hope you can help.
1) When i generate a translated post all the links in post even the source link , have in front “google translate link” and not the direct link.
Example source link from generated post:
https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=el&tl=en&u=https://www.example.com/post1We want only the https://www.example.com/post1.
2)The excerpt in generated post is not translated. So we can’t have a site in other language cause in homepage and plugins feed users see the not translate excerpt.
If it is not possible to translate the excerpt , is it possible to leave it total black so wordpress will auto generated it after?

Please update the plugin to the latest version -> 1.4.4.3.
In it, you will find a new checkbox in plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> ‘Keep Original Link Source After Translation’ -> if you check it and save settings, posts that are generated afterwards will not contain links that are ‘translated’, and will point directly to source websites.
Regarding the other issue you found, with excerpt generation, this is also fixed in this update.

Yes, this can be done using the plugin. You should import posts (or custom post types if you do not want them to be visible on your blog’s main page), and use the [wordpressomatic-display-posts] shortcode to list them on the custom page you wish.

The plugin offers the possibility to strip parts of the imported content by HTML class or ID. You can find these settings in plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> ‘Strip HTML Elements from Final Content by ID’ or ‘Strip HTML Elements from Final Content by Class’.

Hi, this works, however it does not pull all the posts, no matter how many number in the rule or how many repeated runs I run the rule. I am trying to get articles from a wordpress site that passes all the pre-tests, the rule pulls some posts, but not all. I’ve tried a few different settings as well. Know why this could be? or what I may be doing wrong to not get EVERY post?

I’m finding this is something to do with the date. For a heavy populated blog, if I run them a month or two at a time with 30 posts per run, I can get them in. A few more steps , but its working I guess, tho it would be easier to just set max posts to 600 push Run this rule and go to lunch. (now thinking of it, could be server php limitations perhaps, who knows)
Well, the maximum amount of posts imported at once is 100. Also, your server must allow multiple post creation, which might be resource consuming and some hostings cut the process of the plugin in the middle.
So, if not, you can import content using the ‘Remember Last Posted Item And Continue Search From It’ checkbox from rule settings and multiple rule runs.

Is there any way to add CATEGORY based capability to this, meaning that WORDPRESS to WORDPRESS is only triggered for a particular CATEGORY.
A list of actions based upon a particular CATEGORY would be most useful. Each category has all the settings available, but will only be triggered if the POST has that particular CATEGORY assigned.
Do you have another Plugin that does this Plugin’s functions but is CATEGORY based?

If I understand your request correctly, than this is already possible using the plugin.
Please go to ‘Posts to WordPress’ plugin menu -> and check the categories for which you don’t want to automatically trigger posting, in the ‘Disable Autoposting of Selected Categories’ settings. To show categories list, please click on the ‘Show/Hide Categories List’ link first.

The issue is if you want one Category to behave one way from another category. Right now the settings are global for the entire plugin.
Let me explain: I have one site that hosts a radio show. That radio show has different segments. Each Segment would have a different category. For each Category, I want to post to a separate Web Site.
When a separate post is made to the new web site, the Category would be changed. Example: Radio:Segement1Category would change to simply RadioShowCategory on the new site.

I really like the potential of Wordpressomatic, however I seem to be having difficulty setting this up, even after watching your videos.
I was originally going to use this on a Multisite. I have moved away from that. I have multiple unique Wordpress installations. I am posting from Wordpress to Wordpress only.
I have the following structure;
toplevelAAA.domain – where the post originates.
subdomain.toplevelBBB.com – site that gets the post some time later
toplevelBBBB.com – this is an aggregation site that is taking post from many different sites, all using the same structure as described above.
A post is made to toplevelAAA.domain which then posts to a subdomain of toplevelBBB.com (subdomain.toplevelBBB.com) which then ultimately posts to toplevelBBB.com.
I would like the content of the original post that is being posted to a new site, but then have that new site generate a URL with the new content, not simply a reference to the original post.
The issue I am having is, that the feature image is not showing up on the new site. A click on the post takes me back to the original posting.
Also, by the time I am getting to the very top, or final repost, all that is posted is the URL of the original post. No content. No image.
The categories are not transferring over no matter what selection I make.
I would like to delay the post from one site to the next by days some times. The current setting only has seconds. The reason is that the primary author has restricted rights to the story and then it gets released for syndication.
So in summary i am posting to Site A, which then after a delay, Posts to Site B, which then after some time, posts to the final aggravation Site C. All Site postings would generate unique URLS, copy over the Content, and the feature image, and all the Categories and tags.
I am getting the original post to post all the way up to Site C, just not getting the results i require.

I have a fresh install of WP. Newest version. Very light right now. Newspaper 8.5 is the theme. No news posts. Attempted to install this plugin twice. Same error. I have installed some pretty large sized plugins like Visual Composer without issue after adjusting up the max file size.

Configure blogA to auto post to blogB. Configure blogB to post to blogC. And so on…
So, new post on blogA -> new post on blogB -> new post on blogC.
