Hello, I have activated the license for 2 websites. The domain Wooexperte.com is a test site. You can disable the lizentz for wooexperte.com because I’m using a new test page. Many Thanks Harald
Hi,
unfortunately, it is not possible. The Envato usage license allows you to use the plugins in just one site, not one site at the time. Once you activated the license to be used in a domain, it cannot be unregistered to be used in another one. The second activation has been granted exceptionally only for testing purpose.
The plugin, however, can be activated unlimited time in an already registered domain and its subdomains (like sub1.domain.com, sub2.domain.com or domain.com/subfolder).
Hi Vanquish, Just purchased your plugin and installed it. I need to set up the following role change system 1). A customer buys more than 6 bottles of wine with the category Seasonal 2). The role is updated to Cellar Door Direct from the standard Customer If you can help with that setup it would be greatly appreciated. Regards
Hi,
actually it was not possible.
However I’ve added a new option that now allows you to set a rule only if the minimum of distinct items (in your case 6 bottles) of a category has been purchased: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x75jzngtnzty5o9/wcra_option.jpg?dl=0
You can manually download the new version via CodeCanyon or receive as an automatic update by installing and configuring the Envato updater plugin: https://goo.gl/pkJS33 (here the guide that explains how to configure: https://envato.com/market-plugin/ ). To manually update just deactivate and delete the old plugin version and then install the new one. Don’t worry you won’t lose any data
Give a try and let me know!
Hi,
did you test the new feature? Was it ok?
Hi Vanquish, I am just checking it now. Would be handy to have a option to select both category or tag name for a little more complex selecting. I really like how the Amounts configuration works however with the email notification and role restriction, can this be added?
For thank you for suggesting these enhancements! I’ll see what it will be possible for the next releases
Awesome thanks
Hi,
good news! I’ve just released the new 6.1 version that now implements the “email notification” and “roles restriction” features even for product-role rules!
I hope you enjoy! If so… please consider leaving the 5 stars, I would reeeeeally appreciate!!
We’ve got a conflict with Woocommerce Subscriptions and Role O Matic on our side. The plugin is preventing renewal orders to be proceeded. It’s throwing the following error for Woocommerce Subscriptions:
[14-Feb-2019 14:49:00 Europe/Berlin] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_total() on boolean in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-subscriptions/includes/class-wc-subscriptions-manager.php:127 Stack trace: #0 /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-subscriptions/includes/class-wc-subscriptions-manager.php(89): WC_Subscriptions_Manager::process_renewal(237271, ‘active’, ‘Abonnement-Verl…’) #1 /wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): WC_Subscriptions_Manager::prepare_renewal(237271) #2 /wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #3 /wp-includes/plugin.php(515): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #4 /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-subscriptions/includes/libraries/action-scheduler/classes/ActionScheduler_Action.php(22): do_action_ref_array(‘woocommerce_sch…’, Array) #5 /wp-cont in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-subscriptions/includes/class-wc-subscriptions-manager.php on line 127
We contacted Woocommerce Support and they said that “wcs_renewal_order_created filter is not being passed one of its required parameters, $renewal_order. When subscriptions begins to renew, this filter is returning a false status and errors out the renewal process.
Based on the search we did in your codebase, this filter is present in this Role-O-Matic file: wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-role-by-amount-spent/classes/com/WCRA_Order.php”
Is there any fix for this?
Hi,
apologize for the issue and thank you for reporting it.
I’ve just released the new 5.7 version that fixes it!
Please update and let me know if it fixes!
Thank you.

Veeery glad to hear that!
Please, If you enjoyed my support and/or my plugin consider leaving the 5 stars, I would really really appreciate!

Have a great day!
Hi,
Please consider leaving the 5 stars! It would help me with sales and I would really appreciate!!
Need to send screenshot to explain issue.
how do I contact you.
Hi,
you can link the screeshots here or send me a private message (click on my name then use the low-right box) to which I’ll reply with my private email where you can attach the screenshots.
Awesome plugin but I have run into a problem that i wasn’t expecting. I am assigning roles based on product category purchases. Basically I need a set up like this: Category 1 = Role 1. Category 2 = Role 2 and Role 3 is when category 1 and 2 are sold together. The problem is if someone orders Category 1 they are assigned Role 1 and Roles 3 whereas Role 3 should only be for combined sales. If there is a way to define rule for Role 3 from an OR to an AND that would be greatly appreciated. Hope that makes sense. Cheers.
Hi,
actually, the plugin assigns a role if the customer purchases one of the selected products (by category or directly by product). So they are combined with “OR” login.
Thank you for suggesting this enhancement! I’ll see what it will be possible for a future release!
Thanks for the prompt reply. That’s a shame about the condition. How realistic and what timeframe could a change to a future release occur? If it’s close I will wait otherwise I will have to find another solution. Thanks.
Unfortuantely I’m not able to give you any eta
Hi. Great plugin. I’m glad with the purchase, but if you don’t mind, I would like to make a couple of suggestions for future updates.
Products Configurator
Design
+ Role to Assign (and to be removed selection) could have other UI. On my site I have a role for each product and other roles. Right now they add up to 23. Imagine scrolling to 50 products with 50 checkboxes for role to assign plus 50 checkboxes for roles to be removed. You could use the same selection used in “Select Products” and “Select categories”. + The “Remove Row” button is practically invisible. Maybe you could add some color or create a button just like the “Add Row” one. + It’s nice to have a toggle function, but would be better if once clicked (closed) we could see the name of the product for the tab.Recalculate user roles
Feature
+ After changing rules for products on “Products Configuration” it would be nice to have here the option to reassign these rules to users (update their roles).Cheers!
Hi,
thank you for your appreciation and for sharing your ideas! I really appreciate! I’ll see what it will be possible in the future plugin releases!
Hi I have problem with Activation of this plugin. When I enter evanto username and purchase ID plugin will not be activated. I also installed your plugin WooCommerce Upload Files it works without any problems.
Hi,
I’ve just performed some tests and the activation system seems to be properly working for the Role-O-Matic plugin.
Please make sure that you have actually used the right purchase code and useraname. Make sure that you are also using a fully HTML5 compliant browser like Chrome or FireFox. If the issue still persists, try eventually disabling the other 3rd party plugins.
If even doing so, you still persist the issue, If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- you email address
- Full admin access to the wp-admin area
- a FTP access
- Username and purchase code
I’ll try performing some further tests to see if it is possible to determine the cause. Thank you.
Hi, regarding your plugin WooCommerce Role-O-Matic, can i have rule that purchase with any 2 item will automactically change the customer role? Urgent, reply me at gary@cloone.com.my
I’m sorry but the plugin hasn’t such a feature
Hello – aftersale question. In future would you like to support woocommerce 3.5.x? Right now it is not working. Thank you for your answer.
Hello,
yes the plugin supports the latest 3.5.4 version. Could you provide a more detailed description of the issue you are experiecing?
Please make also sure you are running the latest 5.6 version. Don’t worry you won’t lose any data.
Thank you.
Hi, is it possible to assign automatically a specific and different user role per purchase product “not the one set on woocommerce settings” ((my store has 4 products))
Example: when somebody purchase ebook A , I will give that user access to the content related to ebook A. when somebody purchase ebook B , I will give that user access to the content related to ebook B and so on…
I have installed woocommerce, memberships, subscriptions , and your plugin WooCommerce Role-O-Matic
I used WordPress Access Control to allow access to different content on my web to register users.
Yes,
to do that just create a different “role per product” rules for each product you need by using the Products configurator menu.
Hi I’ve added the plugin. When I go to Products Configurator > Select Products. Nothing populates. I can’t get anything in that field. I also have a notice saying “Thank you for updating to Advanced Custom Fields PRO v5.7.9! This version contains improvements to your database and requires an upgrade.” But when I go to upgrade, it just says “Reading tasks” and nothing ever happens no matter how long I wait. Thank you
Hi,
it seems that there is 3rd party interference (or even a server issue) that prevents the proper execution of the ajax processes. This may be the reason why the product menu population process and the update process fail.
Make sure you are running the latest 5.5 plugin version, that you are using a fully HTML5 compliant browser (like Chrome and FireFox) and try disabling the all the other 3rd party plugins.
Try then accessing the Product configurator area and see if you still experiencing the issue. If not, then try enabling one by one the 3rd party plugins until you find the interfering one. Once done report to its developer in order to fix it. If disabling the plugins doesn’t help, try temporarily switching theme.
If even doing so, you still experience the issue, it can be caused by a server issue. If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- you email address
- Full admin access to the wp-admin area
- a FTP access
I can try performing some further tests to see if it possible to have more clues.
Thank you. The conflict seems to be from: “WooCommerce Upload Files”. If I make the rules, then reactivate that plugin, will they hold?
Yes, once they have been saved and the plugin is active the will be used to compute the product-roles assignments.
Hi Vanquish,
My wife purchased your product (Woocommerce Role-O-Matic) by mistake, despite I had already purchased the plugin. Would it be possible to cancel the one of the two licenses and get the refund for the second one?
Cheers,
Hi,
yes. Ask a refund through the special page https://codecanyon.net/refund_requests/new . I’ll approve it!
Ok, I’ve approved it. You should get in few days.
Please If you enjoyed my support and/or my plugin please consider leaving the 5 stars, it would help me with sales and I would really appreciate!

Hi
Deleted and reinstalled.
Now I get Purchase code is invalid!
This lack of private email is quite frustrating.
This issue usually related to when using not fully HTML5 compliant browsers. Make sure you are using a fully HTML5 compliant browser like Chrome or FireFox. Try purging browser and server cache and eventually disable the other 3rd party plugins. Make also sure that you have not activated the plugin in more that two differents domains.
If still experiencing the issue, if you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- you email address
- Full admin access to the wp-admin area

I’ll try performing some further tests.
Hi
I am currently using WooCommerce Role-O-Matic Version 4.4
I face 2 problems.
1. I am not able to delete amounts configurator rules.
2. Using query monitor, woocommerce-role-by-amount-spent takes 24 queries and 0.0058 seconds even for an empty page.
I don’t mind upgrading, but have these 2 issues been resolved.
Regards

Hi,
to ask for the support you have to use the account you used to purchase the plugin.
I did not ask for support.
I asked you whether these problems have been solved in the latest version so that I can purchase.
I purchased in March
To your account is not associated any purchase and support license. Where did you buy the plugin?
I bought it from you.under a different email.
Can you answer are not?
If you want money, let me know.
because you are not using a private email, I cannot send the other info.
Then log with the email you used to purchase the plugin and repost the question .
To have the support you must use the account that has associated a valid purchase license.
My six months has expired. Will still answer the question?
In case anyone else has an issue with missing admin menu options, there is a current conflict with https://codecanyon.net/item/ultimate-gdpr-compliance-toolkit-for-wordpress/21704224. I have notified the other author.
Thank you for letting know.
Try eventually using the Plugin Organizer plugin and try to make sure that the Role-O-Matic is activated before that plugin. This may prevent the interference.
ok, I already use Plugin Organizer, so I will give priority loading it a try. Thanks.
Hello! The plugin keeps saying failed to load. Not working. What can I do to fix this?
Hello!
what do you mean that “it kees saying failed to load”? Where exactly are you getting that message?
Make also sure you are running the latest 5.4 plugin version. You can manually download the new version via codecanyon or receive as an automatic update by installing and configuring the Envato updater plugin: https://goo.gl/pkJS33 (here the guide that explains how to configure: https://envato.com/market-plugin/ ). Hi,
Just bought the plugin and I’m getting a weird behavior.
After installing it and activating with my code and username, I can see a message saying it was successfully activated. The left menu with the plugin options appears and quickly vanishes. Soon after I’m prompted to activate the plugin once again.
Can you help me out?
Sounds very strange. Which browser are you using? Could you try using a fully compliant HTML5 browser like Chrome or Firefox? Let me know!
Hi. Good job with the Role-O-Matic plugin!
I’m trying to integrate the plugin with my WooCommerce Subscription/Membership based website. Is there a way to set a “subsription length” expiration date? Meaning, that roles would be assigned when a user purchases a subscription, but revoked automatically once subscription is expired?
It’s needed for variable subscription products, which may have variations with different subscription lengths in the same product. If it’s not possible, the workaround would be setting up a seperate product for each subsription length, then set different Role-O-Matic rules for each product, with a matching relative expiration date (the 3 months subsription product should have a 3 months role expiration date). But it wouldn’t be as convenient, so I hope a “subsription length” expiration option is possible or would be considered for future releases.
Thansk!
Hi,
thank you for your appreciation
To do that you could use the Expring date type option when creating a Product-role rule. Select a relative or fixed date, in this way the user role will be resetted once that date is reached.
Thanks for your reply. Again, I’m aware of this option. As I stated, it won’t help in the case of a variable subscription product, which may have different expiration dates attached to the same product. Also, this way the role expiration date won’t sync with scenarios where a subsciption was cancelled or extended. This is why I think it would really help adding the option to link it to users’ subscription length and let WooCommerce Subscription dictate the expiration of the role assignment.
To your consideration
You can create specific product-roles for each variation however they won’t consider the subscription status
- wcs_renewal_order_created : triggered when an order is renewd
- wcs_resubscribe_order_created : triggered when a resubscribe order is created to record a customer resubscribing to an expired or cancelled subscription
Maybe this may help
Hi there, i noticed that the [wcra_show_expiring_dates] short code is still displaying the expiration date and time, even after expiration?
Regards Carsten
Hi,
yes it show the expiring date independently from the current date.
Yes, but it shows the expiration time, even after expiration? On hour access: 28/11/2018 : 16:09
Yes, as reported in the early comment, it shows the expiration date independently from the current date (day, month, year and hour).
It is used to let the customer know when the product will expire or when it expired.
I see, I would have expected it to change status to ‘expired’ or not to show after expiration. You don’t have a code for a count down instead?
Unfortuantely the plugin hasn’t such a feature
However you can customize the WCRA_Shortcodes.php you find inside the classes\com folder.
the code snippet that manages that aspect is from line 29 to 32.
The $expiring_data contains the expiration data formatted according your wordpress date and hour settings (setted via the WordPress Settings -> General menu).
You can then perform a check on that variable and then eventualy avoiding printing the line 32 or print any other custom line instead of it!
Hi there, I just purchased this plugin, downloaded the zip file, but it will not install?
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin installation failed.
Regards Carsten
Hi again, managed to install the plugin. The confusion occurs because the downloaded codecanyon-15418671-woocommerce-roleomatic.zip is not the actual plugin, but a zipped folder containing the plugin named woocommerce-role-by-amount-spent.zip, and not woocommerce-rolomagic as expected.
now the plugin is installed and activated, but I can’t find the Role-O-Magic settings in the Dashboard like in the demo?
Regards Carsten
Role-O-Matic, sorry
Hi
the issue is because the zip file you are trying to install is the zip that contains both the plugin and the documentation. You have to unzip it and then install the woocommerce-role-by-amount-spent.zip zip file.
Once installed and activated, you have to verify the purchase code. You will find a notice in the top of every admin page. Click in the link you find in it, enter user name and purchase code and verify them. Once don you will find the menu!
Purchase code is invalid! I am told…
Please make sure you are using a fully HTML5 compliant browser (like chrome or firefox). Try eventually to purge your browser cache.
If still not working, please try disabling the other 3rd party plugins. Let me know!
Thanks, using Chrome did the trick
Glad to hear that
At last but not least…If you enjoyed my support and/or my plugin please consider leaving the 5 stars, I would really appreciate!
