Hi, i noticed probably a bug, if you delete magento cache manually or you update the plugin when you try to deploy static content the javascript files will not be compiled. Actually the only solution i found is manually add the assets folder on the pub/static folder. When i deploy static content only the file settings.css is compile.

Static content generation is magento task. Extension does not override any core functionality.
Please check that extension files has correct permissions ( https://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.3/install-gde/prereq/file-sys-perms-over.html ) and is readable by web-server user

1. Please check that you have uploaded all extension files. Try to reupload them.
2. Check that extension files has same permissions as other magento files.
3. If you are using compilation mode – run recompile.
4. disable cache ( System > Cache management ). If you have any 3rd-party cache extensions like full page cache please disable it too.
5. If above does not help provide admin / ftp credentials to nwdthemes@gmail.com . We will check the issue.

Thanks for the reply, I have updated to latest version, but it doesn’t fix the issue. Here are the version detail: Magento version: 2.1.7 Slider version: 5.4.8.3 This site is multi-store website.
There is a bug with 2.1.7. The issue is in app\code\Nwdthemes\Revslider\view\adminhtml\templates\gallery\uploader.phtml
The problem here was that functions: escapeHtmlAttr and escapeJs are introduced in magento 2.2. Please replace those functions in uploader.phtml with escapeHtml function.

Purchase code should be used in a single instance of slider. If you move installation from another domain you need to de-register it first. You need to deactivate your code and register it again in your current installation.

Best practice is to install it on staging server first to test new update. If you do not have staging server – do files / database backup before install.

We had a client with the same issue recently. He had an extension that add styles to page body that rotate slider content. I believe it is called Organizer Task or smth like that.
If you disable styles from this rule ( .wrap ) – slider working fine. You need to either disable this extension or remove its css from slider pages.

Unfortunately we do not have demo version at the moment. Basically it should work fine as extension use its own jquery library to avoid conflicts with other libraries.
As long as your theme support default magento placeholders for widgets – it should work fine with widgets. You can also insert sliders into CMS pages / blocks using shortcode or insert it diirectly into template files.
You can also contact us in case of any issues with the extension and we will try to fix it asap.

1. Try to contact agency and ask to provide latest extension version. It can be downloaded via Codecanyon.

Probably this is related to connection speed between your server and themepunch server. This gives timeout abortion when trying to download templates.
You can try to increase time limit by editing one of the following files depending of your Magento version:
lib\Nwdthemes\Revslider\template.class.php
app\code\Nwdthemes\Revslider\Model\Revslider\RevSliderTemplate.php
Find following line in _download_template function around line 59 or 93: 'timeout' => 45 //DIRK and try to increase this timeout value to fix the timeout issue.
‘timeout’ => 3000 //DIRK —
Once changed, it still gives the same error.
Ok so the reason in something else. Need to debug response from request on themepunch server to see the reason of this problem and fix it.

This problem is related to text direction conflict between site and slider. Site frontend is configured for right to left and slider is calculation positions based on left to right style.
To fix it please add “rtl” class to body tag on front end. This will make slider work in right to left style and fix issues with positioning.

Yes in page layout of your theme. For example for Luma theme to add it on all pages need to edit \luma\Magento_Theme\layout\default.xml Right after body tag opening add following line:
<attribute name="class" value="rtl"/>

We have the slider and we are having a few issues with it. We have a magento site and when we add a slider for the desktop view it looks odd on the mobile view.
As a result we have to add the same slider but change the size for the mobile view.
How can we just have one slider for both mobile and desktop and tablet.

Thanks for the details but we seem to be a little stuck on the site.
So this is what my orginal developer did ( we have now sacked him)
He did the fillowing.
1. created a slider for desktop (hide on mobile view) for all sliders 2. create a new slider (same image) show on mobile view only for all sliders
Issues with sliders
Slider 1
On the backend the head of the man is showing on the object library is showing, but on the desktop view some of the head is not showing but it does show on the mobile view.
Slider 2
This shows the full slider on desktop view, however when you go to the mobile view the image is stretched
Slider 3
When you go to the 3rd slider on desktop view the yop of here head is missing, however when you go to the mobile view the top of the head is showing.
Could you help? Can i send you screen shots?
You can use the same slider for both mobile / desktop. Just need to enable custom grid sizes in Slider Settings and setup layout for different sizes on slide edit page.

I installed the latest version now on my Magento 2.3.0, but it gives error during compilation.
