Is it possible to have more than one installation of the Admin Panel (Pro Panel) in one installation of WordPress?
I would be looking to use the Admin Panel to display products but do not want to have to create a custom taxonomy with lots of custom fields. Neither do I want to have these products appearing in the same Admin Panel as the Site Settings.
So, my questions are:
- Is this possible?
- How do I do it?
The website is at http://www.yestech-europe.com/staging/ if you need to know. The products are on http://www.yestech-europe.com/staging/products/ and the details will appear in modals.
Thanks in advance,

Hi my friend,
Having two versions of the ProPanel running on the same site is likely possible however it will require a fair bit of renaming functions and files so that there are not any conflicts between the 2 options panels. We unfortauntely do not support this type of customization.
It sounds like in your case perhaps using a custom post type will very much suit your needs. You can create a “Product” post type which can have all of the necessary settings.
A Highly powerful and very easy to use Plugin for custom metaboxes is called Custom Metaboxes and Fields: https://github.com/jaredatch/Custom-Metaboxes-and-Fields-for-WordPress
I hope this is helpful my friend.

Is Ajax saving is inbuilt in option-panel or we have to implement Ajax saving ?
Hi my friend,
AJAX saving is not currently a built-in feature.
Please feel free to give us a shout with any further questions.

Is there a way to add TinyMCE to a textarea?
Hey my friend,
Apologies but TinyMCE is unfortuntely not built into this plugin.
Is there a way or hackfix to do that? Are you thinking to introduce this feature?
Hi there,
You can definitely implement this feature however it is not built in by default. We’ve not tried adding this feature so we don’t have specific instructions for doing so. Truly sorry my friend.
Hey Buddy! How quick you are! Thanks for the fast reply.I have searched for lot of setting api’s and found pro panel is better and flexible. I want to use Extended licenses and by implementing some extra features and stuff in it with custom css ,js and php code. Your theme “Karma” is already using this panel, so I have a big question whether there is posibility that Themeforest reviewing team would neglect my theme for not having unique code files.
Hey my friend,
Your theme will absolutely not be rejected for using Pro Panel. That is the whole reason we created it and offered the Extended License. To make things much easier on Theme Developers to create a super awesome options panel. If you have any doubts please feel free to contact Envato/ThemeForest directly.
Thanks so much my friend.

I want to implement pro panel option panel in my premium word-press theme’s which I want to sell it on Thmeforest.net. Is any other author’s is on Themeforest using it ? whether its effect my word-press theme selection in themeforest? Can I modify it and can add some extra stuff using commercial license? I don’t want to waste my time in coding my own Option panel, but before that I want to here from you.
Hi my friend,
The Extended License will enable you to use the Options Panel in your Wordpress Theme for sale on ThemeForest.
Our Themes here at TrueThemes use a modified version of the Pro Panel. We’re not certain if any other themes are using the Pro Panel though we’ve sold a handful of extended license.
You can indeed extend the Pro Panel to include any options you’d like. Even if other themes are using the Panel, you’ll be adding the various Options to your Pro Panel, so you can get creative and make a far more usable panel than any other theme.
Please feel free to give us a shout with any further questions.

Hi TrueThemes,
When I use this option panel and added many options on it. My site loads slowly. Did I miss something?
Thanks, Joefrey
Hi my friend,
The amount of options should not affect speed load time.

Hello there!
Great option panel! I am currently in the process of testing it and plan to buy the extended license for the theme we are building.
I just have a question, we need an option for a complete address block, and we rather not insert single fields one by one, is there an easy way to do add this in the admin-interface.php to easily use it as code sample in the theme-settings.php?
Example of the result:
Address line 1
Address line 2
Postal Code / City
Country
We would need these to be in separate inputs and not in a textarea since we want to use the entered information for multiple purposes (i.e. Google Maps, standard footer address block etc…)
Thanks!
Hi my friend.
Thanks so much for the kind words. We’re very glad to hear you’re enjoying the ProPanel so far.
There is unfortauntely not a built-in method for combining input fields. One option might be to make an “Contact Info” tab within your options panel and then you can have all the various input fields related to their contact info within that section. (address,phone number,etc)
I hope this is helpful. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.

Hi! You plugin looks great but I need something specific for my current project, that is – a theme options plugin which can display different pages/boxes for each website translation (i.e. per language settings). We use WPML for localization. Is this possible / doable via PHP with your plugin?
Hi my friend,
Thanks so much for your ProPanel interest.
The customization you’ve mentioned is likely very possible however we have never implemented this before. Sorry we are unable to provide much more details about this.
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help.

Thinking about buying this plugin. Is there an option to export the code so it can be passed from one theme to another?
Also is it possilble to move the link in the sidebar to a higher level? say underneath posts (for example).
Cheers
Hey my friend,
Thanks so much for your Pro-Panel interest.
As per your questions, there is not currently a code export option however yes it is indeed possible to move the sidebar link into a different area of the sidebar.
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help

cool!!!!!
Hi,
I just purchased Pro Panel – really liking it. I would like to use it to hide or display a row of social links in a theme I’m working on.
Can you tell me how this can be accomplished, I would like to add a social links page and then just have a list of social sites where the user could add all of their links and then it would display on the live site. Is that possible for newb like me.
Hi There,
Thanks so much for your ProPanel purchase.
This is indeed possible. We’ll just need you to please provide further details (link to website, etc) so that we can get a better idea about what you are trying to achieve.

Great work. One question (or two) :is this option framework support SEO and Typographie (I prefer to use Googlefont.)?
Thanks.
Hey There,
The ProPanel framework doesn’t have an SEO or Google Font option specifically built in, however it comes with all of the bare bone functionality you need to achieve these functions.
For example, you might use the built-in drop-down list to list out Google Font options. You would then take that value and echo it into your header.php file to achieve your desired effect.
Example:
<?php $googlefont = get_option('yourtheme_google_font');
echo '<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family='.$googlefont.'" />'
?>
I hope this is helpful for you.

I am looking to retrieve category IDs from the options. Currently I am able to get category name via the propanel variables. I see a reference in theme-settings.php $tt_categories[$tt_cat->cat_ID] = $tt_cat->cat_name;
would there be a way to get category ID instead of name?
thanks for your help

Thanks. What else would you recommend? Especially if I want it to effect the main css for h1, h2 , etc. and not just edit the body tag. Thanks in advance. Really love add-on
Hey There,
Following the syntax from the included “sample-page.php” included in the download package, as well as the training videos, you will simply retrieve the values from your options panel and place them in your desired CSS location.
For example, you can edit your header.php (before the closing < /head > tag) with something like this:
$value1 = get_option(‘yourtheme_picker_value_1’);
$value2 = get_option(‘yourtheme_picker_value_2’);
$value3 = get_option(‘yourtheme_picker_value_3’);
$value4 = get_option(‘yourtheme_picker_value_4’);
<style type=”text/css”>
h1 {color: <?php echo $value1; ?>}
h2 {color: <?php echo $value2; ?>}
h3 {color: <?php echo $value3; ?>}
h4 {color: <?php echo $value4; ?>}
</style>
That’s about it! Use this same logic and get creative!
I hope this is helpful for you.
