Please note that the Bookly Custom Duration Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005082294-Services-with-flexible-duration-Custom-Duration-Add-on- allows you to create services with flexible duration so your customers while booking an appointment will be able to choose its length from the predefined options and the price will be adjusted respectively. If you want to be able to combine services and offer them as one service, depending on your use case, either the Bookly Collaborative Services Add-on or the Bookly Compound Services Add-on will work for this requirement.

The Bookly Collaborative Services Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013222534-Collaborative-Services-Add-on allows you to create services that require the simultaneous participation of several staff members, or staff members and shared resources (such as rooms, tables, equipment, specific tools, devices, and items). With this add-on, you can avoid double bookings if the resource is already in use or one of the staff members is already booked for another service since your customers can book a service with any of the following scenarios:

• two or more staff members working together
• staff member(s) and a shared resource (such as rooms, tables, equipment, specific tools, devices, and items)

Whereas the Bookly Compound Services Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001642033-Compound-Services-Add-on allows you to combine existing services with spare time to create a separate complex service that can be booked by your clients as any ordinary appointment so all the client has to do is pick up a date and time from the list of available time slots that have already been calculated by the Bookly system to accommodate all of the appointment segments wherein each service within a complex appointment can be performed by an individual service provider who will be booked only for their part of the service.

Kindly note that at this time, both the collaborative services and compound services can be booked via the front end only. The administrator cannot create appointments with collaborative services in the backend but can manually add each appointment as a part of the collaborative service, and cannot create appointments with compound services in the backend but is able to add each appointment as a part of the compound service manually. Also, these add-ons aren’t compatible with Bookly Custom Duration Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005082294-Services-with-flexible-duration-Custom-Duration-Add-on- yet.

As you may already know, Bookly is designed to work with a weekly schedule. The schedules you set up for the staff members are their consistent availability moving forward – for each and every week. So timeslots offered in the front-end booking form are founded on these schedules. And the time slot interval or how the hours are divided and presented in the booking form is based on the time slot length.

The add-ons https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/features/, such as Bookly Collaborative Services Add-on and Bookly Compound Services Add-on, are intended to help give more flexibility to achieve desired features.

The aforementioned documentation includes that it can only be booked via the front-end booking form.

So the administrator cannot create appointments with compound services in the backend but is able to add each appointment as a part of the compound service manually.

Hello. I think you have not understood the stated issue. The problem is that the compound services I have created, doesn’t show up when a staff member makes a manual booking in the calendar.

Are you referring to the back-end calendar or the booking form? The compound services will be available for booking on the front-end in the booking form. Though, staff members/administrators in the back-end can’t create manually appointments with compound services.
