Just bought this. I’ve enabled “Process on Entry Update” to recreate the QR codes, my site just hangs and stops responding before timing out. Any fixes for this?
The Plugin hasn’t a Setting “process on entry update”. Are you sure you mean this Plugin ?
My bad. How do I force the QR code to be regenerated instead of submitting a new form entry again? Editing the entries and updating it does not regenerate the QR code
The Plugin uses the Gravity Forms “Feed Engine”. A Event for a feed will be fired, if an entry will be submited. GF doesn’t know ‘edit’ or ‘update’ so there Arent feed’s for this. This is a generally GF Problem.
Hi, i recently activated this plugin and it was working fine sending the QR code links to my users. Then after the 20th person, it just stopped sending the QR code links, and it will just show the {qrcode:filenames} shortcode. I looked at my file manager and even there the files don’t exist. So how? anyway I can generate those qr codes for those people again without having to re-register them?
Please check the Setting for the filename or leave this field empty.
Anyone else have success getting the QR Code embedded within the actual Gravity PDF? Usr submissions currently get 2 attached files. The PDF receipt and the QR code. Both separate and not contained within a single PDF. Is it not designed to function that way?

How do I remove the trailing characters from the QR Code URL output? Current URL output shows – “https://url.com/qrcodes/qrcode_944064ef2555eb6a3ac091a6597d2edee74d65b3.png|:|120”
I would like it to output as – “https://url.com/qrcodes/qrcode_944064ef2555eb6a3ac091a6597d2edee74d65b3.png” without the ”|:|120”
Reason is chrome browser renders ”|:|120” as “g%7C:%7C120” which returns an 404 error page.
I located the “class.gravityforms_qrcode.php” to edit ”$entry[ $field[ ‘id’ ] ]” but was unable to save the file.

Please user the {qrcode:imagelinks} or {qrcode:filenames} merge tags.
The merge tags are working fine but in this case, I’m using Gravity User Registration User Meta to output the QR Code, which is giving me the result with the ”|:|120” extension
Background: I’m using “user registration” user meta to map the fields which are entered in a form. The output is giving me all the desired results except for the QR Code field.
As mentioned earlier, I was hoping that editing ”$entry[ $field[ ‘id’ ] ]” found in “class.gravityforms_qrcode.php” would do the trick but I’m unable to save the file.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
I uploaded a new release with a “quick and dirty” feature. If you add the string “url” at the default Value of the Qr-Code field, only the file-url will be stored at the field.

when i export the entries, there isn’t any option to have the qrcode link to be exported together with the details.
just for the info, im doing using gravity form as race event registration. the QR code will be printed on the bib as well. so wondering how i can go about doing this. having to extract the QR code generated
was looking at the instruction pdf.
“At the Form-Editor you’ll have a new field to store the URL of the generated QR-Code. The field will be hidden at the Front-End Form.”
I do not see the QRcode option in my “standard fields” option.

Use 2.0 and it will work.

Yes…but I’m not sure it was the correct update. I only download in download folder is 1.3.0. It doesn’t seem to change. I see a few files that were added (which I added), but it crashes my site.
1.3.0 is an very old version, only if you use PHP lesser than 7.1. The current Release is 2.0
Is there a way for me, as admin, to access the QR codes from GF? I would like to be able to view as people will delete/lose the email that contain the code.
This will also be possible with the upcomming release

I believe I read that the QR code can be use in Gravity PDF. However, I can’t figure it out. Can you provide some assistance/direction which shows me how to get the QR code on the PDF doc?
Also, is there a particular scanner that you suggest? Ideally, I would like the information contained within the QR code to be view in separate columns (first name, last name, email, etc…) and exported to excel. This allows us to track more easily.

Hi there! I have just purchased your plugin but cant get it to work. I want to place a QR code which needs to be generated from the post url (entry). How can i do that? I have read and followed the documentation but it only shows the mergetag {qrcode:imagelinks} in the entry. What am i doing wrong ? Please help
You Need to create a feed that will generate the QR-Code.
I have got it working thx! It now generates a QR with the entry link which is visible on my PDF header. Any thoughts on how to remove the label under the QR code?
You can define the label at the feed Definition. Leave this field blank and there will be no label.
I cannot leave this blanc, it gives me a validation error which states i need to give in a name/label
Naranili, i still cant hide the labelname, giving in a mergetags as {space} also outputs {space} on the PDF. Any workaround ?

Ok i tried but it gives me a fatal error, will not activate. Updated via FTP crashes my website. Any idea on this one?

You only should use the 1.3 release if you haven’t PHP 7.x installed. There will be no updates for this release.

I did, but it crashes had to rename via ftp to access my site again
I have installed previous version 2 weeks ago and all was fine, then i updated to the latest version and it crashed my site. Now im running the old 1.3 again which was inside your package.
Yes. The new QR-Code lib from Github Needs PHP 7.3. I will release a new Plugin with the old lib, so it’s possible to use PHP 7.1

Hello. Does each registration generate a different QR code? On the day of the event, when the QR CODE is scanned, does a notification arrive to the administrator? That is, it is possible to know by QR CODE who has entered and who is not? Thank you
The Plugin only generate a QR-Code with the given data. Nothing else

Hi, is it possible that when scanning the QR code, it automatically updates a field of their entry in the database, if the person scanning is connected as an admin? Basically, it is to check people in, and avoid duplicate use of the same QR code. Thanks for your prompt answer.
