a. I can see the switch available for the online and offline mode. If I have understood correctly, if I enable the offline mode, the user can read the book even if the internet connection is not there. Please confirm.
b. Can you please let me know if the CMS is written in any particular php framework?
a. Yes, I confirm. You have to include eBooks in the app build, so they will be available offline.
b.CMS is written in NodeJs + Parse Server as a backend, and Angular Material as a Frontend.
Thanks for the reply. a. That means anytime I need user to access any ebook offline. I need to build the app? b. My requirement is to add ebook anytime I need. Can that be done without app build? I was under impression that the CMS module can be hosted in a server as a restricted application. I can access the CMS using some credentials and then can add ebook to it. Whenever I add the ebook, automatically the user will get that ebook in their app. Of course user needs to be connected with internet. Is not that the case here?

a) Yes, you are right. You have to build new release in order to add new offline eBook (at the moment this is how it works).
b)We’ll take your suggestion to add eBooks into CMS so that no new build to be required, but in this case you’ll have to prepare the environment for the CMS, which for most companies is a headache. Let us think about it and we’ll come with an answer.

Thanks for the response. If I need to do a build each time a book is released, then what’s the point of having a CMS? Frankly, I bought this item because it has a CMS available. Doing the build for each new book is a bigger headache to be frank. Let the app access the ebook stored in some file folder.

The feature of making books available while offline is already developed and published on our Github repo.
