When I look at your demo and create a new event the map always defaults to Perth. How do you change the location of the marker? Also, is there any geolocation available?
The default map location is created there, but it can be changed to another location but it has to be changed on the code.

Ok, I want the same thing to put in homepage but the users post not an event but a phto and its desescription which go on the map with markers and when one clicks essus one sees the picture and its description. Like the lady’s phto on your map and registered people can post a comment at the bottom of the photo description
Maybe this plugin isn’t proper for that. First of all it isn’t a multi-user script, and some features would needed to be customized for your needs, so it wouldn’t be a cheap request customization, due to the work it would need to done.

Hello, I’m looking for a map like yours because with friends who also take photos, we want to post our phts at each place we took them. We can print them with our phone or from a computer but we need a text box to give the description of the photo. That is to say there is a point of color on the map, when we click on we see the picture and its description where it was taken!

have you considered making a leaflet/openstreetmap version? With google requesting credit card info I suspect people will considering that for nonprofit projects. You should also consider a my location button to find events near by.

First of all thank you for visiting our script , and for your tips which really sound interesting. Relative to Google asking for money… well… it’s their policy, and there’s nothing we can do, right?! Also their maps API are the most commonly used ones, but we don’t discard the use of other solutions. And that one you’ve pointed out seems to be a really great solution for the future, and we’ll probably work on it for a new script. The “my location” button wasn’t part of our project, because we only wanted to give customers a way to integrate this script on their own systems, and not making this script as a self script. But it sounds interesting also.

i like this script but i need to know if it is possible to retrieve date as json files so i can use it in mobile app rather than having responsive design?

Thank you for your interest in our script. Relative to it, data is being retrieved by a query and written only with PHP. We can see if it is possible as a JSON file, but not for now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
