Hi, 1- what about reskinning and uploading the app to the App Store? could you do that using team viewer? how much?
2- App Store does not accept multiple codes, so if someone has published an app using this code, apple will stop everyone tries to upload another app with the same code, Is that correct?

Hello, 1- you can do it by yourself , there is a documentation included to change the colors , the quotes , the titles .. , then you need to upload the app to your apple developer account , if you don’t know how to it , we can discuss the price of this service. 2- As the apps are not 100% the same (you will change the colors , the texts , maybe even add some more pages) , they should approve it.

Comments aren’t viewable in the favorites tab, would it be possible to load them even when being viewed from the favorites tab?
Would it be possible to add a place holder (ex: “No comments”) when viewing comments for a post that doesn’t have any comments yet?
Toggle between save and remove from favorites, so a user doesn’t have to open the post from the favorites tab in order to remove a post from the local database.

Ok, I have figured out how to disable admob.
I am trying to also add some custom fields. I have figured out how to add the custom views to NewsItem, but I don’t want these fields saved in the local database. I have tried adding these items by adding a new function to ApiNews.swift and setting up a new dictionary (ItemExtras) for them. I have done this by duplicating the getComments function and modifying it to get the fields I want. This seems to work fine, but when I try to use them in OpenItem I get a crash. Any ideas on how I can do this? It’s important that they’re not stored in the database as they are fields for current weather conditions.
I’ve got the comments view to work in the favorites tab by using the post_url instead of post_id to do the json fetch, which works.
I have also come up with a work around for a “No Comments” placeholder, but again it relies on checking that comments count it greater than 0. This works fine, until a comment is added since comment count is stored in the database.

It seems that the application is registering the device token with the WordPress plugin on every launch, resulting it multiple notifications being sent upon publishing a post. Any idea on how to fix this?

about the last comment , for multiple notification , you can go to the database ( phpmyadmin ) , and make the userid-key relation unique
otherwise i’ll make a change in the plugin , to make it delete the old registred tokens before adding the new one

I figured it out by modifying the plugin code. I simply check to make sure the token hasn’t been saved, only saving it if it doesn’t exist.
My application is now in the App Store.
I still am very curious how to update the information in the SQLite database. Right now if I add new fields to ItemNews the application will crash when trying to view the favorites tab and will not allow for adding new posts to favorites. Hopefully I will not be needing to add anymore fields. I’m also interested in replacing the SQLite database in favor of CoraData to achieve data persistence when internet connection isn’t available.

I figured it out, kinda. For some reason the JSON-API plugin wasn’t adding the author field. I simply removed the author from being displayed in the app, as I am the only person that posts to the site.
One other question I have, is it possible to add taxonomy terms to the “Open Item Controller”? Ideally I’d like buttons for each term that returns a view controller similar to the categories controller.
Also, I’m trying to add variables to some custom fields. Any pointers on how I can do this?

I have setup a custom taxonomy on my site, I’d like to be able to list all of terms for a post and have them link to a “category” listing with all of the posts with the terms.
As for the custom fields, I have a custom field for latitude and longitude for example, and I’d like to use them to display a map. I have tried adding them to the ItemNews array in ApiNews.swift, but get an error “Extra argument ‘latitude’ in call.”

if I post an audio (html5 audio, soundcloud) in Wordpress, will this app be able to play the audio in background play mode, which means even the app goes in background, it will still play the audio in background in iPhone ?
