I’m interested in purchasing an Extended License, however I have many DIVI Theme websites.
I see in one of your comments that the user stated that it did not work with DIVI
How can we get this rectified? Would you consider testing it on one of my DIVI websites or maybe you have some other option that can confirm that it will work with DIVI.

There is an issue I just found out.
When you set the privacy settings to, for instance, Analytics (in the backend) and then click the Change settings through the popup and see the privacy settings (on the front end) you see this list:
This website won’t:
- Remember your login details
- Functionality: remember social media settings
- Functionality: remember selected region and country
- Analytics: Keep track of your visited pages and interaction taken
- Analytics: Keep track about your location and region based on your IP number
- Analytics: Keep track on the time spent on each page
- Analytics: increase the data quality of the statistics functions
- Advertising: tailor information and advertising to your interests based on e.g. the content you have visited before. (Currently we do not use targeting or targeting cookies.)
- Advertising: Gather personally identifiable information such as name and location
This is however the list for Essential and NOT for Analytics.
The moment you move the setting to something else (let’s say Functionality) and then back to Analytics. It states this:
This website won’t:
- Remember your login details
- Advertising: Use information for tailored advertising with third parties
- Advertising: Allow you to connect to social sites
- Advertising: Identify device you are using
- Advertising: Gather personally identifiable information such as name and location
I also tried it on your demo and it happens there as well.

Hi! your cookie consent is not working for me. I can’t get the “accept” button to work when I select this “Block selected/all cookies until user consents”. When I push the “accept” button, I have checked Chrome dev tools to see if my Google Analytics related cookies are working/loading, but when checking this in Chrome dev tools I only see this cookie “ct-ultimate-gdpr-cookie”.

Well, the language parts are my most immediate concern. Without the english being at least 100% understandable (since this plugin is for abiding by a law, afterall,) I can’t do a full translation. And since I can’t do that, I can’t use it for my Swedish clients, of which there are many.
When I mean disabling of features, for instance I don’t always want an automated Data Removal/Rectification solution. One client wants to only show an email address where they submit their request, but they still want the “My account” parts, just on their own terms.
When it comes to configuring Cookies I lack an option for display. Right now it’s either “show on these specific pages” and “show on all pages”. It lacks an option to “show on all pages except these specific pages”.
Also on Cookie consent; it could be a little bit clearer when it comes to the various types of cookies. For instance, it’s not clear what “Select default privacy group” even means, and the docs didn’t make it clearer.
A guide on how to find the names of cookies used in one’s website would be beneficial as well, I think.
BTW, when you release an update, will I be able to auto-update or do I have to re-download and install again? Unless I run into showstoppers with the software, I plan on deploying this on 30+ sites in the near future, so auto-update is a must-have.

Thanks for your feedback. We already made improvements in labels and comments – updated POT will be available in tomorrow update. Also in tomorrow update you will find a tool to identify all cookies used by your website with option to add information about them to your privacy policy.
About disabling the features – before sending information to user – you can preview collected data instead of using automated mail sending option. In rectification form it is user who decides what data should be updated and to what information. Also in “Right to be forgotten” you can select specific services to be removed with checkboxes.
To “Show Cookies information on all pages except of these specific pages” you can just select all pages with “ctrl+a” and then deselect as many pages as you need.
Yes, plugin has autoupdate option, so it can be updated via admin panel.

Sure, but that means that if the client adds 10 new pages in 6 months, those will not be selected automatically and THAT is the issue with the feature. In other words, it should be “default on” EXCEPT in specific circumstances.
I need this for disabling cookie info on cart pages etc, but it’s on a site that is updated very frequently and so all other pages need to have it. The client is usually NOT tech savvy enough to do this themselves.

Hi! If the visitor set the cookies settings, and accept, where can modify later? Second question: Can it be possible to have a popup automatically and the visitor must need to choose before using the page? Example the IBM page (https://www.ibm.com/pl-pl/): popup automatic, you must chose a setting level. You can’ t use the website, until you have saved the setting. And the footer has a link you can click to modify.

1. Via plugin settings, the admin can set an option to allow the user to show cookie popup always, even when the consent is given, which will allow them to modify this setting later via clicking the icon (img)

Thanks for the very fast response. I looked your demo, and the “__cfduid” cookie is a necessary cookie? this is compatible with GDPR? Another question: can i modify Essential description?—> “This website will: Essential: Remember your cookie permission setting”...
Suggestion: “Block selected/all cookies until user consents”—> It would be nice to display this option before “Essential” in the Privacy settings. This way, the user may choose not to allow the cookies.
__cfduid is a cookie from Cloudflare which we are using on our plugin Live Preview site. It is compatible with GDPR as it doesn’t correspond to any user ID in web application, and does not store any personally identifiable information.
For now, the only way to change the text visible on this popup is via editing the template which you can find on path ct-ultimate-gdpr > includes > views > cookie-group-popup.php

How can I change the language in the plugin? It says it comes with a number of translations, but there is no option of changing it!

To change the language version used in the plugin please navigate your dashboard to Settings > General. You will see the General Settings of your site. To activate the translation, look for the Site Language and select the one that you want to use (img).

This setting is set to a language that the add-on apparently supports. But the add-on is still in English.

I just noticed that when, in WP-Rocket under FILE OPTIMIZATION / Optimize CSS & JS, I activate:
“Combine CSS files (Enable Minify CSS files to select)” “Combine CSS merges all your files into 1, reducing HTTP requests. Not recommended if your site uses HTTP/2. More info”
the layout of the popup is messed up and it sticks to the bottom of the page.
This is something you might want to look into seeing as WP-Rocket is widely used and this particlar setting is almost standard.
I have now excluded these two locations wp-content/plugins/ct-ultimate-gdpr/assets/css/.css wp-content/plugins/ct-ultimate-gdpr/assets/css/fonts/font-awesome/css/.css
However with not result. Am I overlooking some css files?

With fresh installation of WP 4.9.5 + CF7 + WPML, default theme, when I submit a contact form, after accepting the policy injected by the plugin, I have 2 issues: A – I don’t see the submission in any dashboards, where are saved? B – if I request the user data using the same email submitted in CF7, in the Data access dashboard i get the new request but clicking on “Preview data” i get no info in the CF7 section, is empty. So, where theese infos are saved? Moreover in the Data access dashboard only the first data request is showed, if I try again with the same mail I get the same users request as before, untill I delete the request. I’m waiting for your replies on Support forum for the others two tickets. Also interested on YouTube Videos question made by salvatom here. Thanks

Contact Form 7: As we investigated this task we weren’t able to find any data of this type generated by the ContactForm7 as I understand you are using a basic version fo this plugin or also some add-ons as well?
YouTube videos: The only way to block the cookies generated by the YT video added to your page is via including -nocookie tag to embedded code. This way Youtube won’t store information about the visitors unless they play video.

Sorry if my last reply wasn’t clear. There is no data stored by the CF7. In the new 1.4 version that should hopefully be available tomorrow the misleading [] will be replaced with a ‘No data collected for this service’ information also no empty files will be sent to the users.

Hi! How does this plugin work with YouTube video? The videos will be not stamped in the page until specific consent is given? If I’m not mistaken when the embed is done, some data will be read by YouTube and it is therefore necessary to consend before showing these YouTube videos. Would this plugin help me? I wait to buy.

First – please make sure that in youtube embed code you will include -nocookie tag – this way Youtube won’t store information about the visitors unless they play video. Second – you can easily (via admin panel) add youtube cookies to one of four types of cookies available to choose by user (screenshot: http://prntscr.com/ji0ub8) dependent on the importance of the videos for the website (if you videos are crutial for your website you can add youtube cookies to “essential group” and inform your customers about that. If user won’t give consent for this group of cookies – he won’t be able to play the video.

I have to encrypt some of the client datas, that bought using this plugin. This plugin store orders data as a custom post type, user do not subscribe in orders to buy, they only fill a form that send data to PayPal service, and after check out save datas in WordPress database. Is there a way to do that with your plugin? Do you gave helperfunction/script to encrypt specific fields?

These strings are part of the latest version of POT file that should be sync with the PO file you are using for translation. Depending on the plugin you are using for translation you should be able to sync the files so the missing string will be added from POT to PO file.
