Hello We have bought your plugin for 3 of our websites. In the contact form the agree doesn´t return a value to the contact form receiver. It should return something like gdpr accepted on dd.mm.yy. I am telling you this because it is crucial for gdpr compliance to be able to aprove that the sender agreed. We have achieved that with other plugins, so it won´t be so difficult to do.

I don’t know if there’s a bug in the current version but it crashes builders in Divi and BeaverBuilder in every one of my sites that I’ve tried. Beware.

On those pages on plugin, there is option to send notification but, i don’t understand WHERE and HOW user submits this?

Thank you for getting in touch with us! When user send the request by the form created by this shortcode: [ultimate_gdpr_myaccount] (img) an email to confirm the request will be sent to the user. The user must first confirm the request before it is posted in Right To Be Forgotten requests list where the admin can forget these services. In a similar way is working for Data Rectification option. Please let me know if some of this functionality is still not clear to you.

Right now Ultimate GDPR plugin is not compatible, but we will add this implementation in the future update of the plugin. Unfortunately, right now I am not able to tell the exact date when this feature will be available for download, so please follow our RoadMap for some new information. You can also try to integrate the plugin on your own by following this part of the documentation.

Isn’t it possible to update the plugin via backend? There is no message for an update but there is a new release according to your logs provided here.

Unfortunately, with the version 1.2, the plugin needs to be updated by deactivating and removing the old version of the plugin and then downloading from the market the latest version and installing it instead. This functionality was added to 1.3 version, so the future version of the plugin you will be able to update via backend.

Dziękujemy za “custom development”! Szukamy prostego rozwiązania, które zastosujemy na kilkudziesięciu stronach. Jeżeli nie możemy zmienić obszaru lub kształtu popupu to jest to problem bo zastosowanie nawet pluginów do obsługi chatów będzie się miejscowo pokrywało z tym popupem (będą się nakładały na siebie). Dotąd używaliśmy “ConvertPlus” i doskonale się sprawdzał. To prosta funkcjonalność i chyba ją przeoczyliście bo jest masa stron gdzie lokalizacja i kształt popupu będzie problemem. Może dodacie to do swojego “Development Roadmap”?

Znakomicie! Jak widać są tańsze rozwiązania, ale nam zależy na wspieraniu waszego. Nie tylko z patriotycznych względów, ale też dlatego, że to naszym zdaniem najlepsze rozwiązanie obecnie. Produkt na lata bo o GDPR jak o GIODO będzie pamiętało ok. 30-40% firm. Świetny pomysł i idealny czas.
Nie tylko naszym zdaniem jednak strona wizualna jest bardzo ważna. Niektórzy przywiązują ogromną wagę do spójności wizualnej strony. Jeżeli uda wam się dodać tę funkcjonalność i możliwość zmiany wyglądu popupa oraz jego lokalizacji na stronie to będzie to produkt nie do pobicia w swojej klasie. Jeżeli będzie też ładny i elegancki to ludzie go pokochają jak iPhona. Na razie wygląd popupa jest dość skromny, ale warto w tę funkcjonalność zainwestować bo dla wielu osób będzie ważniejszy (szczególnie tam gdzie decyzje zapadają zespołowo) niż samo GDPR.

the user has no option to decline. Shouldnt that be implemented?! or is this allowed like this (gdpr)?
By default all cookies are blocked until user gives he’s consent to one of 4 groups of cookies. So lack of consent works like a decline here. Please note that for many pages some cookies had to be used to assure correct website working (e.g in woocommerce shops), so if user wants to use all website’s functionalities he has to accept at least essential cookies, required for it’s correct working.
Is possible to show the privacy setting in a specific page or trigger the privacy setting modal via javascript/jQuery? I need to create a specific link in menu/footer, thanks

I’m not sure if I correctly understand your question as Ia m not sure to which privacy settings you refer to. Is it the ‘cookie modal’? If so then yes, it is triggered by the jQuery. There is a template added to wp_footer which later is controlled by our script.

Hi,
I noticed that not everything is placed in the .po file. For instance the string:
Change Settings
Is located in the ct-ultimate-gdpr\includes\views\cookie-group-popup.php file on line 61
and the entire Privacy settings information page is located in the same file:
ct-ultimate-gdpr\includes\views\cookie-group-popup.php but from line 85 onwards.
I am sure there are other things not located in the po file. But these two I noticed right up front.
It would be easier to have everything in po file.
Although I understand that this might be tricky for the privacy info. Would you have any suggestions (at least until you find a better way for us to translate this information) how I can stop the cookie-group-popup.php file from being overwritten after an update of the plugin?
Also I see that some plugins are not supported yet although they are widely used like for instance WordFence. Any update on this?

Thank you for your feedback! I checked the content of the POT file that is part of the plugin latest package and all the strings from your questions are available there. Depending on the plugin you use for the translation you need to sync the POT file with the PO one as it will load all the new strings added to the latest version of the Ultimate GDPR plugin. For example, if you are using Loco Translate plugin it is possible to do using the Sync option. If the new strings will still not be available for translation, please contact us via email: support@createit.pl where our Support Team will help you.

You should get the option to translate this strings by using the latest version of the POT file from the plugin package (example), just please make sure you merge the changes in the files. If you are using Loco Translate plugin you can do that using the Sync option. If you will have any problem doing this on your own please contact us via support@createit.pl. If the user will subscribe to a newsletter via form integrated with MailChimp no data will be saved in your wordpress database, as it is going straight to MailChimp, so Ultimate GDPR is not able to access or delete this data.
I am not sure if I correctly understand the second part of your questions. Our plugin is integrated with Mailchimp for WP where you can integrated Mailchimp account. With Ultimate GDPR you can add consent checkboxes to all mailichimp forms on your website.
