Hi, we have purchased the plugin and installed on our staging website but when the user submits a university email address the email comes through but without a verify link in. I have tried emailing support but not had anything back. Thanks

Hi, I would like to find out if it is possible to have the ‘apply student discount’ on the checkout page, instead of the cart page. I already have my store set up to bypass the cart page but I am unable to find a way of having this plugin work on the checkout page instead of the cart page. Is there a way to do this please?

There is a shortcode to display the discount form anywhere you want – [wcsd_form]. This is the way to implement the discount form on a checkout page – use some page builder to build custom checkout page and use the mentioned shortcode there.
Ok I was able to add the shortcode on the default checkout page without recreating a new checkout page. However, it is still on the cart page. How do I remove it from cart page please?
You can disable it on the cart page by deselecting the checkbox in the settings ‘Display in the Cart’

We’ve uploaded the new version which contains the list of domains and universities separated by countries. For example, you can copy domains you need and arrange it in any form you want.
Also, there is a field to add your own domains, doesn’t matter what they are.
That’s great! Can you update the plugin on the demo page so we can see it?
- Is there a way to insert verification plugin via shortcode in another page, besides having it on the checkout page. That way users can apply for their discount before getting to the checkout in advance.
- And just double checking: we could change the texts from the plugin and make it for both students and military by adding the .mil domain right?

Just bought it. Can you consider applying the following improvement:
- It’d be great for the domains list tab on your plugin’s setting to display them in the same way Wordpress displays the post categories. That way you could add, search or update domains according to the university. The tricky part would be being able to organize them by country, but I’m sure you guys can do that easily.
- Right now your university domains list, only show name of the university, not domain. It’s hard to look up or search.
I hope you guys can implement that, because the plugin itself how it is right now, seems pretty good!

Thank you for the question. The plugin contains the list of almost all universities over the world. If it doesn’t contain a domain you want, you can easily add your own domains in the plugin settings.
How do we find out how many student we have registered, they still fall under customer role

I really like to accept .ac.uk emails, can you tell me which part of the function needs modifying to accommodates this? I already have seen the annotation and they are easily changeable. Thanks.

Thanks for your question. Actually, the plugin supports ac.uk emails – there are more than 150 domains with a format {university}.ac.uk, for instance, ukc.ac.uk or bip.lon.ac.uk.

Hi, please will this plugin allow me to assign sales according to different categories and/tags instead of a general storewide student sale? Also, can this plugin work in conjuction with your other flashsale plugin?

Thank you for interest in our plugins! Unfortunately, this plugin doesn’t have as many options as our Flash Sales plugin does, we were creating it just for .edu email addresses discount. I think it is a good idea of a little customization but not in the nearest time because of big todo list at the moment.
And yes, it can work with our Flash Sales plugin, just tested them.

The only problem we got, that we have our regular coupon codes and now customers able to use student discount + coupon code, even if in my coupon setting set “Individual use only”

Hi, it can work for UK universities if their website is in .edu zone. But I think most of them aren’t.
We are currently working on the 2nd version of the plugin that will include checks against a full database of universities. Then it will definitely work for UK. I will let you know when this is done
