Hi I use this plugin with 2 staff members which I know automatically selects a staff member depending on availability when ‘any’ is selected. however recently it seems to be selecting the same staff member for the last few months and leaving the other out. Even while both are available, many bookings coming through are for the same staff member. Selecting the other staff member not getting bookings does work. Any help to rectify this would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
You can set the logic of the staff members distribution, in case no employee is selected on the first step of booking form – in the services menu, Providers preference for ANY.
Thanks!

yeah it is default set to any. But was wondering what algorthmn was used to determine which staff member was selected when all are available as present it appears to be selecting the same staff member each time disregarding the other.
Hi,
That’s the correct behavior, staff members will be always distribute in same order every time (how they are added in the plugin), when nobody chooses an employee. If you want to change this logic, you can do it in services menu.
Thanks!

Apologies as that still doesn’t answer my original question. All staff are available to all services but I wish for the automated selection of ‘any’ to alternate between different available staff each and every time.

Hi Anique,
Currently, this feature is not supported. You can create group bookings only with the same service.

Hello Kirill, thank you. And if I pay you, could you create a functionnality like this?
Hi,
Currently, we are overloaded with development tasks and are not able to take any customization tasks. But we have a partner which deals quite good with such customization request and has a lot of expertise in dealing with Wordpress and our product – WP Kraken. Please click the “Get quote” button at this page https://wpkraken.io/?ref=bookly and explain your requirements.
Thanks!

This works really great, but i’m also using the google calender intergration But i can’t see a way to make the google calender item say the amount of people showing up. Or the notes.
Thank you!
Hi,
This looks like a feature we haven’t implemented yet. However, we’re constantly working on improvements and value all feedback. That’s why I’ve created a new record on our Feature Request forum: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115003097109-Possibility-to-add-the-number-of-people-booked-to-the-description-in-Google-calendar
The forum is where we track requests for new capabilities, and our product development depends directly on the number of votes each request receives. That’s why we encourage you to vote for your request (link above).
You will need the custom fields add-on to display custom fields in the event’s description.
Thanks!

Thanks for this MUCH needed addon. I’ve tried the demo, but it requires to enter the date twice for the same group booking. So for example you have different ticket prices for the same service on the same date (say adults and kids visiting a museum), but you still have to remember time and date, and manually enter the same information twice (once for the adult booking and once again for the kids booking). So the user experience is the same than the regular shopping cart, and the only difference this addon makes is grouping those people under the same booking at admin level. Am I alright or did I miss anything? Thanks very much.
Hi, thanks for the interest!
Currently, there’s no option to set different pricing for the same service, for example adults and children for the same group booking.
Thanks!
