yes, the nodejs is only use for development stuff, when you delivery the code it will generate to the build folder and you can use with any web server hosting.

It will be the new folder then you can map new domain and the original still keep to support the Rest API and backend management for the app, you can config Adsense Ad in the Index page, also support SEO

Yes, it’s correctly, the Wordpress back end could be set the the subdomain of your app, it could also use it for the mobile app.

I have another question. I’m planning to have a WordPress blog which will collect relevant post from other websites that I follow. Basically an autoblog BLOG. Your project will work for this right? If I understand correctly. I will have ReactPage at the root of my cloud server and I can have the wordpress installation and where all the blog posts are collected inside of the /wp folder my cloud server. Right?
Yes, right. As it connect to your existing Wordpress website so you can map it to other hosting folder, event difference my cloud server, new domain config is also required for the set up.
for some reason its not getting the categories for the filtering, on your demo it does but i just have “all” for the filtering

Hi, you can consider this is the Wordpress template which is based on top of Rest API (https://developer.wordpress.org/rest-api/) and React JS (https://facebook.github.io/react), also mean it is stand-alone web/desktop app using Wordpress as the CMS backend-site
