You need to download xamarin which is free then you can edit the application as you like we provide full DOC file

I have to re-install each time you make an update? How many updates in a year and what’s your re-install fee?
No ofcource you should change the color in the Application
Forget about webview this is Code and this is Native everything should be done in the Android code
Usually 5 Update or 4 each year the fee is 20$ for each new install from us, but its free if you do it by your self

Check your Image which you had added and convert the image to png or jpeg instead of renaming the picture and saving it as PNG

Hi everything seems to be working good except I get 2 push notifications for each message and I do not see the onesignal notification icon I set just a gray square
It seems messenger notifies me and timeline notifies me which is why I get 2 is there a way to turn off message notification only in timeline app?

Are there any image requirements for notification icon besides png I tried different image and packaged wowonder image and it works
the name of the icon should be ic_stat_onesignal_default
Yes it is named that it’s just the image I want to use that doesn’t work I will adjust image to 32bit alpha as the stock wowonder image and try it

No, actually this is good because we follow the latest technology and in Europe and USA nobody has mobile version 3 or 4 or 5 anymore.
it’s not good for third world countries where the user is targeting still version 4 and 3 or even 5

it opens on version 4/0 and version 5 but slowly but on version 6 it works very good and fast like facebook application if you run the app on version 4.0 you will see the same

hi i just downloaded the newer version of messenger to try it out i see it now comes with packages.rar full of xamarin packages do i need to use these somehow or can i just install xamarin and vs2017 like i did before

No you need to have xamarin in any case this packages.rar should be added to the package folder of the application path

i figured it out it cleans and everything builds fine but when i go to archive so i can distribute vs2017 just freezes no error nothing i can build timeline in the same enviroment no problem

Your problem is not related to our Item
it’s something to do with your PC and visual studio freeze or hang can be from low memory on disk or Ram
Also, make sure the archive manager don’t have many saved packages from the previous install you should delete them all
Also, you can try by copying the solution folder to another folder or disk and build the app and make the APK it may fix your problem

Hi I have 16g ram I have tried from SSD drive and hard drive timeline works perfectly but messenger cleans fine builds fine but when I click archive it starts then freezes I do see a warning missing xamarin.ios but that’s it
I don’t know all buyers are building it normally even we make install every day for users we never had something like this.

There are no errors in the bottom windows during clean or build the warning is on the new page that loads when you right click and select archive it switches to that window starts archiving into apk you see the percentage bar run a few times then locks up not a resource issue PC works as normal except vs2017 is frozen I have built previous version of messenger on this sytem I even uninstalled and reinstalled vs and tried clean unmodified copy of app
Correction the only thing I remove on fresh copy of app is address book reference due to an error it is possible I’m removing the wrong line could you post screenshot of the proper line to remove
ok i have removed vs2017 again and installed from the xamarin website and everything is fine now
i have 2 questions1. where can i change (no any chat activity) this is broken english
2. on login screen where can i change email address to ask for username instead it should be consistent with main site which asks for username at login not email yes i know both will work

This can be changed on your Language file you can translate the word there
Also the same you can change it from the AppResource.resx lang file

you are correct you need to remove address book reference and that’s all there is just 1 reference on the app once you remove it you will be done
