I’m interested in buying your HTML5 game for my web-based project.
Before I proceed, I’d like to confirm: Can I access or fetch the final score from the game when the game is over? For example, through a JavaScript variable or using postMessage so I can use it in my website.
I don’t need a leaderboard—just the score after gameplay.

Hi! Yes, you can get the user’s final score and run a javascript. Many clients do this.
But you can only do this within the Construct program, because the game was developed in that program. Using only the source code, I don’t think it’s possible.
And you also need some intermediate knowledge of the Construct program, but it’s not difficult.

Thank you for the quick response. It seems that the end of game… isn’t triggering the share buttons to appear. In the “Share” tabs… the “No” XML is crossed out… and the “USE” XML tab seems to being used… yet the share buttons are not appearing at the end of the game.

Hey! That’s strange, I’ll check this issue. Sorry about that, I updated all games to Construct 3 and tested it, but this bug should be gone.

I have purchased your “Duck Shoot” game. I found it very easy to modify in Construct3. You have made it very easy to find things.
I am unable to get the “Social Media” share functions to work.

Right, the sharing functions work along with the XML file. In the XML you put your data from Facebook or Twitter, edit the texts and links.
For Twitter it’s simple, you just need to edit the texts. But for Facebook you need an account and more. In this link you can find more information about Facebook:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/share-button/After creating your Facebook ID, just replace it with mine, which is in the XML.

First I would like to know is it possible for me to modify the game a bit after purchasing it, for example after shooting the duck instead of +1 to appear a different image, or make the ducks move faster and etc. Second I would like to know if it’s possible to send the data to server once the game ends.
Hi! Yes, all of this is possible, and if you know how to edit in Construct, you can do it yourself. But editing save data is quite complicated…

Hi again! If you know how to program with JS, then that’s half the knowledge. But to make these edits, you need to have the Construct program license.
On the program’s website there are several tutorials that will help you make the edits and database. I recommend training before the program and only after buying the game.

- I would not like to reverse the ducks on the middle line (because i’ve added words to the ducks and the text added appears reversed)
- I would also like to return the user to another page at the end of the game and not display the replay button (or change the action of the replay button to return to a website)
