Pre purchase question: 1) what’s the main difference between this and the Elite player, 2) can it set to prohibit video copy? 3) any way to allow end user to upload the videos themselves (I already have the frontload function from the video theme) 4) With these requirements in mind which one should I buy: Stellar or Elite?

1) Main difference between players is in the design, and Stellar player has a bit more customisation options, like toggle playlist animation, progress bar thickness, HD switch for self hosted videos, etc. 2) Both players have the same options for hiding videos serc attribute from video tag, and disabling right click over the video (self hosted). 3) only user that hads wp admin privileges can edit plugin options (add videos etc.) I’d recommend latest – Stellar video player, but Elite video player is this week on Envato Cyber Monday discount

2) So to prohibit users from copy the video, I would need to self-host the video. If I use youtube link & playlist, users can still right click to copy, right?
And is it possible to hire someone to modify it to allow frontend user upload?
Right click context menu can be disabled only on self hosted videos, youtube API doesn’t allow it. Frontend upload not possible, only backend with admin privileges, like any other wordpress plugin.

What about vimeo?
Vimeo API is similar to Youtube API, only mp4 files from server can have right click disabled. That can be achieved with Vimeo if you use direct mp4 url from Vimeo: https://codecanyon.net/item/stellar-video-player-wordpress-plugin/20939246/support

Let’s say I have a bucket with Amazon S3 and I have a folder named “my_videos”. If I upload all my videos there, will Stellar add them automatically to the playlist and show them upon load?

Yes, player has autoplay option. Autoplay option will autoplay video in regular layout, and in lightbox both.

Excellent work! This plays very nicely on IOS. I am unsyre as I look at it if it is playing VIMEO source videos in the player without popping out of the player and just in the IOS video player. Is there a vimeo only demo we can view?

Just place shortcode [Stellar_video_player] into post or page to show your player.
